LD2 — Construction/Destruction

Sheep Town by ShredWheat

The cheat button is very helpful.

Hitsuji: Shears Of Fury by Jamul

Very polished, cool gameplay, the jumping isn't so bad once you get the hang of it. Nice work.

The Destruction of The Sheep by Jolle

This game is second to only mine in sheep carnage, pretty cool, although waiting for the sheep to die in some levels can be tedious.

Whew.. still, buggy by Ufo Z

The game is cool, there are some problems with collision, but otherwise it's nice.

Sheeps R Us by Gutter

cool

save the sheep by UberHaxor

Pretty cool. The controls are a little stiff, and the game is pretty hard, but otherwise it's good.

SheepShifter by JM

Very nice, kind of easy, and I wish it had more levels, but a cool game.

Sheep Strike by PoVRAZOR

Very nice.

Bleaters by sjbrown

kind of uncontrollable. The sheep really don't listen to you at all (unless you want to get them sheared).

Bathroom Teacher by mrfun

This game is so sick, so twisted, it's great. "Asshole" hehe...

Sheep Attack by SodoMaxx

Maybe if I figure out the first level I'll give the game a higher score, but even after looking at the readme I couldn't figure out exactly what to do.

Sheep & Crates by elak

The controls suck, maybe it'd be more fun if I actually played against someone. Very nice artwork. This one is strange because as far as I can tell it was lacking in the destruction department.

Mut Shbin by Thenend

The sound effects are awesome.

Union Jack - with by nonnus29

A cool game, it seemed to seriously lack construction, but besides that no complaints. The only major problem is that it runs really slow (12 fps.) Maybe I'll try it with another vm, maybe it can be fixed. The boss at the end is cool, unfortuanately you can't fight him. Still, it feels more complete and solid than a lot of old NES games I've played.

Onslaught! Sounds intriguing, no? by bugboy

I didn't see any sheep at all, and it'd be nice if there was more of a challenge. Your voice is annoying also "Time for the onslaught aaaaahhhh!!!".

Sheep O Rama by Bastian von Halem

Interesting, although not very challenging and kind of tedious. I don't really see the point of build barriers. The game was cool in the earlier levels, but in levels 9 and 10 I got stuck in the corner and couldn't do anything. It would be more interesting if you had to keep X amount of sheep alive, and if the random levels worked better.

BallerSchaf - Sheep of Death by Balooga03

The intro is awesome. The game seems to lack in construction like many other (I guess you're building combos?). The sound and music are really good, it'd be nice if there was some more gameplay.

Attack Sheep by Zaphos

whoa.... The programming thing is cool, even though I didn't really know how it works. For some reason this game is really fun though.

World Domination: Sheep vs Wolves by ghowland

Incomplete, but cool. Too bad there isn't a "interestingness" category or something.

Sammy The Sheep by Tybal

Very cool

sheep by Impossible

Here's the patched version, it shouldn't crash now. Uhm I guess the 2 people that voted need to revote. The gameplay hasn't change, the game is just a little more stable now.

I have no idea how to fix the so called "speed bug." The game is speed limited, it shouldn't render any faster than about 30 fps.

If the game doesn't crash, but you find yourself confused. Either by the speed of the sheep or the appearing to fire constantly (which he isn't) or anything else, the game is probably working fine. Just give me all ones or something a be done with it.

SheepSiege by Kuja

Didn't seem to be much of a game there.

SheepCom by Slate

Reminds me of my own game in some ways, lots of sheep, not much of a point. It would be more interesting if there was a limit to the number of walls you could place.

chicken by yq713

Well the story screen is cool...

Sheep Massacre by Josh5231

There are sheep, and they die...

Sheep Dome by LordCovenant

This game could have been really cool if it was finished. Some other things, the controls aren't "standard fps controls." Standard fps controls are WASD for movement, space for jumping and non-inverted mouse. Regardless of it being unfinished it's very cool to see an fps in the 48 hour compo. I may go for an fps next time, even though it will probably be even less finished than this entry.

48game valles by valles

Wtf, why did you submit this. You couldn't even change the title of the D3D SDK tutorial you modified.

LD4 — Infection

Insanity by allefant

It's pretty much a standard beat 'em up but I like it a lot. It would be nice if you added a run button. I love the graphics and art work, although the animation use some improvement.

Commies! by randomnine

Great game. Everything is well done but my favorite thing is the music, which reminds me of Mega Man. I was even more impressed with the game (which I thought was basically a zombie shooter) when you explained the icon based conversation system on IRC, but it's not really apparent that it has effect on the gameplay while you're playing. I would have liked to see you take it further, maybe cut down on the shooting and allow the player to occasionally talk to civvies and enemies?

War on Infection by tareco

Interesting game. AI would have been nice.

Infected! by Krzysiek-K

Very cool tube effect. The shooting and gameplay need some work, but graphically it's nice.

Infection Fighter by adriczero

The movement is too jerky for my tastes. There also doesn't seem to be any losing condition (maybe I'm wrong?)

Invasion of the Blobs by logicalhippo

The blob moves a little too slow for my liking, but otherwise it's a cool game.

OSWar by summaky

I would have given you a higher innovation score if you didn't explain how you got the gameplay idea in your readme :). The game is cool but the AI is very difficult.

Jelly by Cenozoic

Interesting, but very unfinished. It looked more promising when you were playing around with the verlet stuff but that seems to have been removed from the game.

Attack of the Blondes by slutty_eddie

Interesting concept but very unfinished.

infekchion by illume

Some how, some way you have managed to make a game that has very little challenge and no ending but is somehow extremely enjoyable. The game is hypnotic.

infeXion by bluescreen

Great graphics, but I don't really like the controls that much.

Zombiepox by peitz

Great artwork but unfinished. The gameplay and controls aren't too far off from my game (Fuc Man.)

Zombie Epidemic by Ufo Z

Very well done game. It feels very complete.

Plague! by wobbler

Interesting game, but the interface is really confusing and it doesn't quite feel finished.

none yet by Skalle

Very nice physics and artwork, but no game here really. I'd like to see you turn this into something more interesting.

Peanut Butter: The Simulator by Zaphos

This is hands down the most innovative game in the competition. It reminds me of some of the whackier microgames in Warioware.

infection-terror by Chronocore

Looks cool, but runs waaaay too fast on my machine to be playable.

Raids (not finished) by drZool

Interesting...

Shrooms! by zoggles

Nice graphics and not a bad idea, it just gets boring waiting for the mushrooms to grow. Also as far as I could tell there wasn't much strategy to the game, you just had to hope the rats would eat the poisonous mushrooms.

Infectoban by flgr

One of the more polished and complete games in the competition, also combining Sokoban and Dr. Mario is pretty interesting. I'm not a huge fan of Sokoban and pushing block puzzles though.

Diaspora by alia

Interesting mix...

SDLInfection by Endurion

A 48 hour RTS, very cool.

InnerBody (FINISHED) by mrfun

Was gonna give it a NA for humor until I saw the description. Mr. Fun strikes again, great game.

The Trouble with Tribbles by Gopher

Lots of sprites...

Nanodominance by rtf

There didn't seem to be that much interaction.

Innoculator4x4 by smx

Hehe, it makes no sense at all but it's entertaining. The car controls suck, but otherwise it's interesting.

Awesome adventures of SuperHand by ondrew

Hehe, this is one of the funniest games in the competition. There's not much gameplay, and I think it runs too fast on my machine, but it's fun because it's so whacked out. I gave you a 1 in completeness to balance out the high scores in other stuff...

Microbattle by dumple

Great game, definitely one of my favorites. The gameplay is extremely varied and interesting. The graphics are simple but effective.

Nanoterror by deeno

Would have been an interesting game if it was finished.

Unknown by McSteel

Hehe, hilarious game, I love the sound and graphics. This is how they should cure mad cow disease :). There doesn't really seem to be a way to win though.

Tekram-S (v1.1) by Sol_HSA

Very interesting premise.

Youve Got COOTIES!! (FINISHED) by EricDB

It's an ok game but there are flaws. Your goal is not apparent at first. I thought I was doing good by getting a lot of grey cooties. You don't really get the satisfaction of clearing out the level, because a good move just rearranges the cooties. With a few tweaks it could be a nice game though.

LD23 — Tiny World

Free Donutia by the8donut 2012-04-26T03:52:00

Cool game. Really like the graphics and the armies of little dudes. Would be great if there was a little more strategy and challenge involved.

Cyberoid by Pedro de Quadros 2012-04-26T02:38:00

Like it's been said before. The game needs some scoring. It also looks like you can't really die? Just adding a high score, death and a game over screen would improve the game immensely and give player's some challenge and feedback.

Work on the feel of the jet pack (it's a little too heavy\weighty now) and have some more interesting enemy patterns. Enemies that chase you would be a good start (http://flashgamedojo.com/wiki/index.php?title=Homing_Missile). More levels would be a good next step.

Tiny Wor ds by BNeutral 2012-04-26T03:19:00

Clever idea.

When Worlds Collide by AlwaysGeeky 2012-04-24T03:46:00

Not much gameplay but its fun destroying the planet.

Epiquest - mini edition by tjhei 2012-04-30T01:52:00

Cool concept. Fits the theme really well.

World runner by Gunmonkey 2012-04-30T01:03:00

It's like Canabalt on crack :). In some ways the speed makes it fun, but it needs some tuning. Collision seems a little buggy also. Pretty fun game though, if not particularly innovative.

Redeye by gotosleep 2012-04-26T02:55:00

Fun game. A little slow on my machine (tried it with FF and Chrome), maybe Crafty.js isn't the speediest library? Other HTML5\Canvas games run smoothly. Sound would have helped a lot.

Puny World by villhest 2012-04-26T03:11:00

Not really a game, but good graphics and it's always fun to blow shit up.

microchip by DiscoFish 2012-04-26T03:35:00

Cool game. Graphics and the fake glitchiness\computer world remind me of Fez :).

To What a Mountain? by cageinabird 2012-05-12T20:06:00

Hah hilarious game.

Tiny Vessels by xel 2012-04-26T04:03:00

Great game, had an emotional impact on me.

DANCING NINJA! by Jabu 2012-04-30T01:48:00

WTF, nice joke game.

Kumiho by Christina Antoinette Neofotistou 2012-05-03T00:48:00

Awesome game, probably my favorite of the entire compo. It's like bullet hell double dutch. The entire game makes me pine for the days when indie developers were making shmups with innovative mechanics instead of puzzle platformers or first person puzzle games.

Tiny Civ by Impossible 2012-04-25T22:41:00

Hah, the amount of confusion over a relative simple game is slightly baffling to me. I guess I can update this page with more detailed rules\instructions, but it seems pretty clear that the game needs some serious reworking in order to be playable.

Tiny Civ by Impossible 2012-04-26T03:43:00

Thanks for the feedback. Agree strongly with all of it (especially the knockbacks).

It's a Small World: The F.P.S. by philhassey 2012-05-12T19:28:00

Simple game but pretty funny.

stack::tracer() by nihilocrat 2012-04-30T02:00:00

Very cool concept but pretty sparse on level design. The last level finally starts introducing some interesting constraints to the game. Namely that blocks are limited resources and you can't always "collect" a block and fall safely. I'd like to see some more levels exploring that. Tons of potential here, make some more levels and add some more mechanics!

so small by davidpeter 2012-05-12T19:45:00

Really weird game.

TinyInspiration by Shigor 2012-04-26T03:45:00

Awesome game, one of my favorite in the compo due to the weirdness and the humor of it. The interface is clunky and somewhat broken, and it's a great example of misuse of Unity (seems like it would have been way easier to make this game with the Flash IDE?) but great results.

Wander by Dramble 2012-05-12T19:54:00

Cool idea. I was hoping for more of a game in the minimap though. The idea is great, and although it's entertaining as the semi-interactive gimmick it would be better with actual gameplay.

Lilac.27 by oddgoo 2012-05-02T00:52:00

Cute game. The last couple of hard levels feel a little unfair but there is basically no penalty for death so it's not a big deal.

caveman defending his cave from aliens while monoliths drop down from the sky by bms 2012-04-26T04:14:00

The weapon system is cool and shooting aliens is fun. Death seemed a little confusing and random until I read the title :). Having some warning about nearby aliens would be nice. The way the game is set up now eventually aliens spawn to quickly and you just have to spam fire until they move away from your house.

Unforbidden Planetoid by Eliot 2012-04-26T02:31:00

Awesome graphics. Nice to see such a polished Processing based entry. Can't wait until the gameplay is finished.

Interstellar Planet-Ship Adventures: The Search for... $@#% Aliens!!!!!! by mattchu 2012-04-26T02:27:00

We talked a little bit on the Tigsource about our games being confusing. Now that I've played it I don't think the interface is very confusing, but the way selection works is.
My suggestions are to make clicking on another unit select that unit, to allow right click to deselect. Also you should be able to place buildings by clicking on their icons and then clicking on the map. The freeform building is weird and feels buggy, there should be designated building spots. It should also be more clear when civilians activate a specific building. It seems like they are somewhat autonomous? Like you can send a youth to a specific building and they randomly decide whether or not they want to upgrade? Either that or the building collision is buggy and it's hard to position units, I couldn't really tell.

The biggest problem I had was I didn't really get any feedback about if I was playing right or wrong. After X amount of time it seems like you just die randomly. I expected to see alien sprites spawn on the map and murder my civilians. Instead I play for a little while, and the game randomly tells me I lose.

Overall its a cool idea, its just way too hard to do anything, and it feels like the game is buggy and it's not by design.

Interstellar Planet-Ship Adventures: The Search for... $@#% Aliens!!!!!! by mattchu 2012-04-26T03:41:00

Ahhh, so it's negative food. Maybe add a "you starved" screen?
