This is a pretty good game!

For starters, I gave gameplay a 3. I think that is just a matter of personal preference; this game is more like a turn based game, whereas I like realtime. However, it is still good. I similarly gave fun a 3. It's not bad.

Graphics I gave a 3 because I didn't drool over them, but the geometry (??) seemed good. I gave technical a four because those graphics were all right, and the AI seemed to be at least somewhat intelligent. It was hard to tell, though, with so much going on.

This game perfectly fit the theme. Construct a large defense, and then destruct your onslaughters. However, it did not involve sheep in any way, so I had to vote 1 in that category. I hope I didn't miss a sheep somewhere.

I gave the game a 4 in completeness because of all of the variety between weapons and for the fact that it seemed somewhat complete. It could have had more polish, but it was good.

To improve this game, I would start by increasing the resolution. What was used? Seemed grainy, like 320 res. Other than that, I'm not sure what I would do to the game. Maybe a variety of levels.

'You dont have enough moneyyy' lol... love that bit

Impossible

I didn't see any sheep at all, and it'd be nice if there was more of a challenge. Your voice is annoying also "Time for the onslaught aaaaahhhh!!!".

richard

No indication from the start where the onslaught is coming from.
One sound sample that I could hear, but it was appropriate :)
No sheep!?!
Kinda bland graphics, though at least I could recognise my turrets. Not sure why the onslaughters had pointy bits...
"You deserve a gold star young _man_"... are there no females in your universe?

valles

Exciting. More levels!

Ufo Z

Very fun game... But I didn't see any sheep :{ The physics were pretty good, although with a few bugs (that removed my Super Wall from the screen... argh :) )

Jamul

Well, you get the award for being the first person to ignore the cosmetic theme as opposed to ignoring the gameplay theme! Which is an improvement over what we all did, to be honest.

I've been running around yelling "TIME FOR AN ONSLAUGHT!!!! AAAAA!!!" because it amuses me so. Though, to be more proper, your game could've used some actual meaningful in-game sounds. The not enough money sound also made me laugh.

The way the objects scoot out of each others' way when dropped is extremely cool, I don't even know how you implemented that. There's probably a cool game idea right there, just based around that mechanic.

It's fun to me to have a round of building up defenses and then see how they do (I even proposed it as a theme: Be Prepared!), so that was cool.

The amount of stuff you can build and/or the size of it is a bit much for the small screen, as are the big onslaughters trying to squeeze their way in. It gets to be quite a mess.

I like how the helicopter controls.

UPDATE: The updated version adds the earlier levels, where sheep did exist. They're not on level 3, hence nobody thinking the game had sheep. So 5 for cosmetic... if you put sheep in, you get a 5 from me. However, the new version locked up when I finished level 2, so I'm not THAT pleased with it.

Kuja

I really liked the battle cry ;D. There was construction, destruction, and sheep.

mrfun

bugboy, very nice. immpressive selection of walls, weapons and enemies for a 48 hour game

To those that haven't played it yet: Be sure to set your volume to max first to get the full effect.

mfassett

Woulda rated better if it had multiple levels... at least the chance to redo the same level without having to restart. I liked the way thing sorted themselves out when you dropped them. Where were the sheep?

SodoMaxx

Aahh, I like games where you can sit back and watch your units do the work. I enjoyed this very much, because of the many combinations of units I could try out, they seem to be well balanced as well.
I only don't share your taste concerning the combination of colours..

LordCovenant

Good try, although it lacks a certain variety... The sounds are great (a bit loud, but great)... And I noticed the sheep! :)

Thenend

I really love the gameplay concept. Maybe I'm going to do a similar game when i have time(if I do I will give credit to you ;-) Not much sheeps, maybe the black and white thing? The first time i played it crashed when i was almost finished the third level. Grrrr! But a very enjoyable game. Great idea.

Jolle

Well... what can i say. Oh, I know: Stop screaming, I've got a headache. And fix a readme.

segludian

A readme would be nice. Runs kinda slow on my machine, but that could just be that my machine is really old. Pretty fun.

Overall - 4 - I weigh heavily on fun. Might be in my top 10
Gameplay Innovation - 3 - Pretty standard fare, nothing really new gamplay wise. However, most all the games are that way so average score.
Fun - 4 - Pretty fun. I want more money so that construction is more satisfying.
Graphics - 3 - Pretty good for programmer art, but the helicopter needs work (doesn't look like the rest of the game).
Sound - 3 - The "time for onslaught" sound is cool", but you could use some sound effects. Probably would have knocked it up a point if there were more sounds.
Technical - 3 - Nothing really sticks out to me as new and technically exciting, but it doesn't seem broken either so it gets an average score.
Gameplay Theme - 5 - I noticed that this could have been a good indirect interaction game too. You have a construction phase and a destruction phase which is more than just kill the enemey you had all along. Can't really ask for more.
Cosmetic Theme - 2 - Sorry. You have sheep in there, but from your go get the new submission forum posts it doesn't sound like they are on every level. So a dip from average.
Completeness - 4 - You have a title screen and nothing seems broken so you get above average.

jovoc

Cool game. I wish there was more time to build, it would be more strategy and less of a clickfest. I gave a high graphics score because it looks so cool when there is a lot of stuff going on at once.

MattB

Great idea and fun too, but it doesn't seem like I have that much effect on my survival. Also, the game froze completely once when it had too many bullets on screen.
