LD2 — Construction/Destruction

Sheep Town by ShredWheat

Liked it a lot, and after I read the readme, it got pretty easy to play... little too easy, I guess. But it was fun and pretty amazing that you did it in 48hrs.

Hitsuji: Shears Of Fury by Jamul

This was fun. Gave a 3 on the gameplay theme instead of a 2 because, despite the lack of construction, there sure is alot of destruction which was half the theme. Much amusement with the combos.
Could've used a song or two in the background and some background graphics in the results screens.

The Destruction of The Sheep by Jolle

Too much fun. I wanted more levels... more more more.

Whew.. still, buggy by Ufo Z

This was very cool. Except for some collision problems when jumping in the lower levels (like getting stuck), it was fun to play. Wish I could have picked up some other weapons to use, like a handgun.

Sheeps R Us by Gutter

I played quite a bit. The graphics are kinda cute. Didn't see a readme, so it took me a bit to figure out how to play. Once I figured it out, it was pretty fun. It didn't seem like there was anything driving the game to an ending once you get enough sheep to make a decent amount of cash. With four sheep, I could basically go forever.

Run Away Sheep by matricks

A bit simplistic, but well executed and fun. No destruction and minimal construction (if you call box stacking construction). The music got repetetive as did the constant sheep noise. Some variation would have been welcomed.

The Sheep Wars by shang

This has some potential. The graphics are cool and the idea is pretty neat, but a couple of things caused me some trouble.
The control scheme was difficult to work with. After I figured it out, it was alright, but I probably would have done it differently. Right clicking to select a cannon is not terribly intuitive. Perhaps selecting with one left click (and showing that the cannon is the selected one) and then using the left click again to fire or using the right mb to fire.
The path finding could be improved a bit. The guy just stops if he runs into something, making it difficult to get to the fences to repair them, and then back to the cannons to shoot.

save the sheep by UberHaxor

Needs some work to polish it off, but it was definitely different. Starting new pieces in the middle of the field would be helpful.

Sheep Rescue by MattB

Judging two player games when there's no one to play them with is hard. It looks like it might be fun, but it also looks like it might get old quickly. Pretty unique idea, though.

SheepShifter by JM

This was fun. The last level was kinda tedious and the game needed more sounds. Debated whether or not to give an NA on the sound because you did have one sound. Needs some sound and more levels.

Sheep Suckers by postalrat

I liked this alot. Really difficult on the later levels.

Sheep Strike by PoVRAZOR

It's a bit too easy and uneven, but a really cool concept. Thought the turrets shouldn't be able to shoot through the bricks.

Bleaters by sjbrown

Pretty neat, but a bit glitchy with sheep selection and such.

Trans-Icelandic Express by jovoc

I enjoyed this despite the control issues. I can see myself playing this alot if that were fixed. I would have liked to be able to look up as well.

Final submission of "Living Sheep" by mikedoty

This was fun and it's amazing that you were able to build a level editor and get the game done in 48 hours. A couple of annoying bugs lowered the technical score. I was not able to shoot right next to a brick and destroy it, and it was possible to shoot my way out of the level and into never never land. Sometimes when shooting (on level four), the bricks wouldn't disappear, even though the sheep could walk through them. Wish the second level wasn't basically a repeat of the first.

Bathroom Teacher by mrfun

This is amusing and fun, and if I was thirteen, I'd probably think this was the greatest game in the world. Seriously, I laughed really hard the first time I hit the wrong sheep and got the axxhole comment.

Sheep Attack by SodoMaxx

Where's the construction? This was really interesting and definitely different from the rest of the entries. I liked it, though the first level was kind of boring.

Mut Shbin by Thenend

Don't know what to say that hasn't been said. I've always liked city destruction games, and if the construction portion was complete, this would be pretty cool.

Final by entheh

I liked this game. Reminded me a bit of lemmings and other save the stupid animals games. Thought the music was great.
Things I would've like to see include a different key layout and a slightly higher perspective.

Onslaught! Sounds intriguing, no? by bugboy

Woulda rated better if it had multiple levels... at least the chance to redo the same level without having to restart. I liked the way thing sorted themselves out when you dropped them. Where were the sheep?

Sheep O Rama by Bastian von Halem

This is pretty good. The instructions said the left shift, left ctrl buttons for firing and building, but it's the right ctrl and shift buttons. This makes it look like the game doesn't work (until you figure out that the instructions are incorrect).

It took a while to figure out that the sheep died from lack of food, and that you needed to walk over the ground where they are eating to replenesh the grass.

One thing that annoyed me was that the player always started in the top left corner, and that three quarters of the screen is black. The first time I played, it was a bit confusing.

SoaringSheep final entry by LoneStranger

No constuction? Also doesn't seem to really have much point other than racing to see who can hit the most wool. I like the way the sheep fly across the screen, though.

BallerSchaf - Sheep of Death by Balooga03

No construction and I got bored pretty quick with just driving around and shooting. The graphics were nice and clean, but it was difficult to tell the good sheep from the bad sheep.

Attack Sheep by Zaphos

A working help screen would have been nice, but it's a really cool idea. I think I finally figured out how it was supposed to work. Would like to see it in a more complete state.

Entry by DavemanInSeattle

The wolf was funny and the sounds were amusing, however, didn't seem like there was anything to really do since fences wouldn't even slow down the wolf and once you've penned the sheep in, there's no way for them to escape.

Sammy The Sheep by Tybal

If there was one thing I wish was different, it's the controls. I would have prefered the movement on the arrow keys and the other items on the regular keyboard. It's too much for me to do with one hand.

sheep by Impossible

Couldn't really tell what was going on other than sheep running by, some of them dying (I think because I was pressing the space bar) and the guy walking. Looks pretty neat, though.

SheepCom by Slate

Pretty cool besides the fact that it's not yet a game.

chicken by yq713

The thing that really ruined this for me was that I could die from the chickens, but I couldn't hurt them at all. I liked the construction/destruction gun. Nifty idea.

Sheep Pop! by Nate

An amusing time waster. The sheep are cute, but I don't buy the explanation of how it fits the gameplay theme.
