This is a well done game.
It could use some extras to keep up the motivation. And a goal which has to be reached (e.g. survive a fixed amount of time, get a certain score or unite the sheep in one place) would increase it, too.
And why not squash the attackers with the blocks?!
The camera controls are a little awkward, but I wouldn't use them anyway during the game.

Fun and visually nice. My main complaint is that the controls felt a bit sluggish.

Awesome idea... Fits perfectly for construction/destruction..

I had problems with the controls, they didn't feel very responsive.. Also, it was hard to see where the block will end up. (It covers its green shadow)

Dude this game is AWESOME. Totally origional idea, excellent graphics, very playable. Excellent Job!

Why bother with 3D, when gameplay is 2D in essence? Oh yeah, the tech score. =)

Solid game here. Arrows are ok controls, but mouse may have been better (so you can move faster). The 3d sheep animate very nicly, and the particles are cool. Only improvements it really needs is maybe an on screen clock, a menu thing so you don't have to re-double click the program, sound, and for fun, hiscores :). Bonus points for keeping it portable. Great job.

Very good, very good... I loved the game, but I agree with Jamul here... An objective and mouse control would be great... Or at least don't get each new blocks at the same position... use the last cursor position... Different levels would be nice, and some powerups... Loved it!

Gutter

Fun would have been 5 if I didnt had to tap my arrow keys all across the playfield all the time... But its a strong entry in any case...

Jamul

I didn't have a lot of fun playing. I think it would've been more fun if the controls were smoother (i.e. not keyrepeat based, just let the player go... or better yet, use the mouse to move it for great control), and diagonal movement was allowed. Another negative was that there was no 'winning', just putting off inevitable death.

But the graphics were really good, and the little sheep were so well animated and smooth. Looked great. Good concept, very much fitting the theme.

Cool game. Points off for being so tetris-alike, sorry ;)
It was hard to figure where the blocks were going to drop too, which made the game really difficult.

Impossible

Pretty cool. The controls are a little stiff, and the game is pretty hard, but otherwise it's good.

I like the idea. A better control is the key to make it more enjoyable (mouse?). Also too slow in my 450 with tnt2, blame the SDL. Is there any way to win?? Nice job. It also fits the Protect! theme ;-)

MattB

Yeah, definately mouse control. Also, the piece and the piece shadow that shows whether it's a legal move should've been combined (make the piece itself differently colors or have only a shadow) as it sometimes hard to see what doesn't fit and why. If those were fixed (and maybe a bigger map), the game would be a lot better. Right now, it's too frustrating to be much fun.

Pretty much agree with what everyone else has said.

The only 3D game to work on my linux box without hassle. congrats.

ShredWheat

i enjoyed this one, a few small additions and it's a complete game!

mfassett

Needs some work to polish it off, but it was definitely different. Starting new pieces in the middle of the field would be helpful.

jovoc

Very nice! Challenging and good balance. The wolf AI seemed very good, and the game was fun to play. The game looked really nice in 3D but it seems more appropriate for this game to be 2D. Fun game!

Jolle

yay, good game. the only bad thing I found (beside the lack of sound :( ) was that first it was easy, then it was easy, then it was hard, then i died :( I probably just used the wrong tactics.
