Excellent concept - who wouldn't want to infect Europe with the plague? Game tends to give me "Game Over" with no explanation (I guess I make a bad plague rat). Also, it's a bit hard to know what is going on. A "status bar" down the left side of the screen, yet not overlaid over the map, would make this a lot better. More time would have allowed the author to add complexity to the game, which ends up being too simple. Still, a very good attempt in a mere 48 hour chunk of time.

I like this idea. I think it could even work well as a board game if the numbers were managable. I'm not really clear, at this point, what the strategy is (Why do some carriers die, and not others? Do I start fires to block movement of the other player's carriers?). But anyway, I'd be interested to see what this turns into.

tonic

Interesting, but too unfinished.

LordCovenant

The idea was good, but after 1 turn, the game crashes... I tried it several times, but it didn't work... was missing glut32.dll...

Chronocore

not easy to understand and to control. i think it's not a bad game, but the spark didn't jump over.

Sorry. Seemed like it was getting somewhere, but I had to compile it to get it running, debug it to get it working with graphics and then "Game Over" happened almost instantly regardless. Still, I can see that you put some effort into getting the map and data together.

Impossible

Interesting game, but the interface is really confusing and it doesn't quite feel finished.

Giddy

I like the plot twist of having to control the spread of a disease. It is hard to judge the value of the gameplay of a two player game, when you are alone in front of the computer.

alia

Cool idea.. needs more work tho... prehaps sound and help/menu screen

Jolle

I left fun as n/a because I haven't played it against anyone. I had 141% killed at some point, don't know how that is supposed to make sense.

Gopher

I'm currious where you were going with this one, not much there unless there were more controls than those listed in the readme file that I didn't find... just watching the two diseases spread. It crashed after some number of turns (I started just clicking 'next turn' as quickly as I could, and after a while it crashed)

logicalhippo

Not too shabby. The rat's head icon looked like a heart at first :-P. The gameplay seemed interesting at first, although it became a little repetitive after a relatively short time. A better help file or something may have been nice, because while the readme did a nice job explaining the abstract concepts it didn't say much of how to actually control the game. A lot of effort was obvious ly spent on the map, which was very cool. on a side note, I'm your 20th vote :-D!
