I know you've already said it's not buggy... but it clearly is. I successfully completed patterns without getting credit, and had numerous problems with the puzzle resetting suddenly for no reason much too quickly.
Anyway, the graphics are surprisingly good and the gameplay is intuitive. Don't know if it really fits the theme, as you're shown the correct pattern at the beginning and penalized for taking time to experiment. The sound thing is neat but seems to have very little to do with the rest of the concept.
Anyway, seems neat overall. With some work it could be pretty fun I think.
I can't play this game in linux, so I guess I will rate it all N/A. Is that the right thing to do?
Very cool game. As others have mentioned, the controls are a bit odd, but that doesn't stop it from being a lot of fun. The core mechanic is pretty original and used well for satisfying puzzles.
The graphics are limited but used perfectly. I'm rating the graphics very high because many games with flashier graphics do not have the overall artistry seen here. It's not how many pixels you have, it's how you use them.
Some people have said the BGM got old... I didn't feel that way. It's well chosen for the feeling and pacing of the game. A little repetitive, but it's hard to expect a full soundtrack in 48 hours.
Anyway, overall great game. Could be improved in a lot of ways, but it's already impressively complete for 48 hours.
This is actually a lot of fun once you get the hang of the controls. My biggest problem is that I have trouble taking any shots at the bad guys, so eventually I'm just leading this absurdly large swarm around the map. Of course that can be really entertaining on its own.
I'm really pretty impressed with the graphics; for one thing it was 3D in my browser without Unity and for another you have a really clear and cohesive visual style. I suppose it could be flashier, but while I was playing I never felt like it would make anything more fun.
Also: Bonus points for having controls on-screen at all times. Would have been unplayable without that.
Seems like a pretty neat idea for a game, and the graphics are charming. Also, I got to deputize a cat and that made me smile.
Biggest problem is I didn't really know exactly what I was trying to do. I went around deputizing some people and crashing them into bad(?) guys, but couldn't really figure out the goal and/or how to win.
Probably my biggest annoyance is that the controls were so unresponsive and the character moves so slowly. Every time I moved I had to wait something like a full second for the movement to end before I could try to move again... if I pressed the next direction too early, the game ignored it completely.
Anyway, this could be a pretty cute and fun puzzle game. If you keep working on it, I'd say smooth out the movement as much as you can and try to explain it better to the player.
