Difficult but fun :)

Nice game, I enjoyed playing it. Though you keep restarting thinking that you'll do better this time, every game is almost exactly alike.

I noticed the sky is purple, it didn't really bother me but why wasn't it blue, with a couple of clouds maybe?

The walking animation could be better too, making him face the way he's going shouldn't be that hard. I liked the fact that the whole pile is constantly bumping, it prevents the game from feeling to static.

The highscores were a good addition because you get a goal, too bad that it got submitted after the deadline.

No voiceover. :( The particle effects are nice.

I wonder if the gameplay would be more interesting if you could jump to send the items up in the air letting you reposition them a bit.

Nice :) - I enjoyed it!

Very simple, but the sliding objects adds some panicked fun. Might be interesting to expand on the physics so the pile starts to topple if unbalanced.

The neck may be tiny, but it's strong.

Good work on finishing the Dare!

Simple but very polished!

This is really innovative..
I don't remember seing a puzzler like this before..
Cool idea:)

Congratulations on finishing it! :) The game's really short (for a novice like me haha) so the popup for highscore can be a little annoyingly frequent. Don't know how long other people's actual games are, but if they're as short as mine, it could benefit from a slightly wider hero or some lives.

djcsdy 2011-05-08 00:33

@rik For that very reason, you can just press space to dismiss the high score popup and start the game, so you don't have to keep mousing to the 'close' button (for that matter, you can also press space to skip the intro, but then you would miss the dialogue, which would be a shame :)).

It's hard to make it more obvious that you can skip past the high score stuff by pressing space since Mochi don't give you much control over the appearance or behaviour of it. I was kind of hoping that people would guess :).

played again there, managed to get more items - I thought I had to pick up them all initially, but now that I know that I don't the game is more fun :)

Great idea ! It is difficult though, I didn't get past 2500 points.

Congrats for your entry :)

Concept is boss. Great twist on the Old Man. Also the spam-email opening dialog is hilarious every time. A lovely micro-universe is created. Poor guy!

The game is fun, if a bit repetitious. Also, I can't get more than a few items on my head.

All in all a nice entry! Good job.
