I think you really need to make ammo drops more frequent for it to be fun, and i sometimes got stuck to a zombie which was irritating.
Worst part was closing it though! Had to use task manager to shut the program down.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD21 → Arena Escape

Hit "Esc" for the pause menu...
Would have loved a full auto option, my clicking finger is so tired :)
This was hard, even on easy mode. Nice graphics and a good concept, would like to see it developed further.
Decently done, but needs polish. Got stuck in a box. The game is not really central to the theme.
I'm getting a 404 when I try to download it.

Playing on regular, after a while zombies started coming verrrry infrequently, so I used up all my ammo no the barrier, but no more ammo seemed to be coming. I stood by the barrier and eventually the explodey ones broke it for me. So it started out allright but it doesn't seem like it really went the way you intended.
I liked the concept of having to choose between using your ammo to shoot at the zombies and shooting at the barrier, but it fell apart when I realized that I could just sit there and shoot at the barrier, then switch to the zombies when they came close, and still do fine. Imo, too much ammo available.
I was left with no ammo and the player refused to pick up the single(!) ammo on the level. Then, somehow, the zombies started exploding.
