It's a platformer alright. I really dug the physical thrown objects, very fun that. And the noodling guitar was a nice touch.

Hi Guys, this one is my first public release. Please leave any comment you have below. Any and all constructive criticism is appreciated!
Nice platformer. The idea of picking up items and throwing them makes your game stand out a bit!
Once during the game I glitched through a platform, you might want to look into that. Also, it was a bit too easy. Maybe faster enemies/enemies that shoot, or something might help.
Some suggestions:
- The text in the introduction is glued to the left side of screen. Give it some room to breathe!
- The inventory line is kinda "hidden", even if it is at the top of the screen. (your character stays on the bottom, so that is where you will focus your eye). You might want to put a background on the inventory list.
Oh, and cool thing that you can throw the goal objects as weapons :-D
Thanks for the game!
NICE JAMMIN' - Tell your uncle I said so. And that ship is gonna sink. It's FULL OF HOLES!!!
Great music. The jumping mechanic isn't that good.
I like the physics of throwing objects around - it's very satisfying, and adds a sense of something different about the game. The audio was also pleasant and unobtrusive.
If I am being picky, I'd say the graphics are a bit inconsistent in style. Some elements like the player character are very low-resolution compared to the life hearts or enemies. Both aspects look good individually, but it's a bit jarring to see them side by side.
Overall, as other comments point out, this is a pretty good attempt at a platformer!
Very pretty, very simple. If you were to take it further, maybe look into a couple more mechanics - They'll afford you a million new level design opportunities.
Quite frankly, it is just a simple platform. The link to the theme is weak and the jumping is a bit off sometimes. However, I like the way I can throw the goals (although made me a little nervous because I didn't know if I could lose them, which is the point I imagine) and the music is very good and fit perfectly the theme you've chosen for the game.
I've rated overall a little low because this is a Jam entry and this game looks more a 48-hour entry rather than a Jam, and since you have 72-hours extra I don't think it would be fair to rate you too high. Nevertheless, well done and keep on it!
Idiosyncratic and almost completely lacking in logic. I like it!
Sorry I can't play, I don't have a Windows machine here.
I don't have much to add from what has been said here. Using your goal items as weapons is a cool idea, but what I really like is the fact that you foleyed your sound. :)
The audio is awesome! I also like the physicsyness of the thrown weapons.
A nice platformer. The throwing mechanic is quite cool, though I don't like that it's possible to throw the skulls that you need away. The sounds were well done, too.
The graphics are decent, but the fact that some things are more pixelated than others isn't good. There isn't much connection to the theme either.
Haha, neat and fun for what it is. Kind of small in scope and pretty rough, but not bad all around considering. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to throw objects at different angles while jumping...
Cool platformer :D The audio was nice, the throw mechanic also!
sorry, don't want to have to install those libraries
Awesome music!
Very cool music and audio. But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the skulls. Both the throw and collect buttons threw stuff, so I couldn't beat it :\
^ Its setup with two alternative control options both active at the same time. This will allow for left/right handedness and laptops or other keyboard strangeness.
a) wasd for movement and numberpad-123 for actions.
b) arrows for movement and zxcv for actions.
