Thx for the comments. As I said, I had no time to playtest so I randomly throwed numbers for the enemies stats. Also the exp gain is kinda off
Challenging awesome game, it was really hard to find the 2nd key. Well, congratulations for this great game
Bombs are useless, so use all the money on ladders
I had to read the readme because the in-game instructions said nothing about putting ladders to save the cats, so the first time I played I was like "how do I get the damn cats?!"
Sometimes the cat would get lost and stuck inside the ground
Another bug I found is that you can dig a block diagonaly if you're in a dead end of rocks, and you will walk through the rocks if you do that
Fun game anyway. If wasnt for the bug where the cats got lost, I would have played for much longer :)
Interesting game, and kinda fun. The idea is interesting but a little buggy. The ball's bouncing sometimes looked incorrect, and after aiming, the ball was shot from a position lower than displayed during the aiming. I stopped after losing on the same level almost 10 times. The checkpoint thing was not a good idea, as the level I was failing in (with 3 red blocks that i shouldn't drop) was not a checkpoint level, so had to play the previous one every time
The music was good and didn't get annoying during the game
Even tough the gameplay is boring, the story kept me going, and the ending was awesome. I used a headset but I didnt see the point of it, as the sound was coming from both sides pretty much equally.
The epilogue cracked me up XD really unexpected
I don't get the ending, i think i crashed the game or someting ._.
Removing points because I can't see her panties when she kicks (just kidding ^^) Great graphics and music, but the game is boring
Too short ):
The graphics are good, it would be awesome if there was some audio and more game elements to it.
Not really a good game, but at least it fits the theme quite well
Nice game, finding out how it works is a good enough goal
I couldn't jump :/
Thanks ^^
You have an area around the robot that you can grab things, and I confess that is annoying. We are considering removing the robot in the final version, so you can drag anything near the planet
Thanks everybody who rated and commented, we are thrilled with the results!
Not bad. I found a glitch though. If I get the last button right when the time runs out I get the money AND the person screams "Thief!"
I liked it, a few problems here and there but overall a nice game. Only problem is that it glitched at the end. I got to the robot boss, he said something then I died immediately. Then the level restarted and no button worked anymore, not even the reset :<
If you fix this, please add a cheat code or something so I can beat the final boss :)
Although really fun, it's quite buggy, and the movement seems unresponsive a lot of the time (not grabbing to ledges, etc).
Hehe, pretty cool, i like the variety of characters. The controls are not the best though
I was just like playing and I was like "meh" but suddenly POWERUPS YEAH
Cool concept and amazing art. +1 for the goats
Not bad
Loved the mood and the audio. Really hard game though
@PIXEL^3
That was the plan initially but it couldn't be implemented
@Jiggawatt
The initial idea was to have a part of the hud for you to see more stats, but I had to cut that out to finish in time
@bitwise-constructs I joined the jam because I wasnt home for sunday, so it's still technically a compo game :P
It tells me to install the unity webplayer even though I already have it. Just installed it again and it still tells me to install it
Well, it works. I can see you didn't have time to test as it doesn't get harder over time, and I get more money then I need to. Also, I got to wave 10 and nothing happened ^^
Wait till he gets really close -> buy a ton of dudes -> win
The idea is interesting, and I liked the interface. Too bad it doesn't have any music
When I go to the cemetery I get some dialogue, and then i'm back at the initial room, and this keeps happening... I also keep getting the same dialogue many times, that end with "Mission dialogue" or something. And why here the character is so much bigger then on the screenshots?
The mood is nice, but it seems like there are just too many bugs
Those are the most resilient ants I've ever seen!
Can't you just put it online? Having to download an html5 game is bad
"Originaly, this game was going to involve children, instead of aldults, but because of the events that took place yesterday, out of respect for those who lose their children, we made it adults." Don't do that, it's stupid
The idea of reusing the same room is pretty nice. I used to love these 'escape the room' games
The movement and mouse all felt too fast, not sure if it's my pc (because I notice most games when I play for the first time have very fast mouse movement)
After the first puzzle I got stuck in a white screen with a grey pixelated blob in the middle :/
I liked the concept, and I think it fits the theme very well.
Why is it that every unity fps that I play feels like I have 9999 mouse sensitivity? But anyway, this game could use some sort of power up system, or different levels and enemies.
You said you removed all elements of an FPS to fit to the theme, but by doing so you removed most of the fun. Next time consider adding some kind of twist, for example, removing parts of the body of the enemies by shooting them, which would fit the theme pretty well.
Very smooth, and it fits the theme. I wish you had expanded the mechanics a little bit, like a vertical pole in between jump that require you to change color some times
I loved it
I want to say that I loved it, but the controls are too hard. He moves too fast and the jumps require too much precision. Most of the time I had to be focusing on jumping before reaching the edge of a platform, because with his speed, at the moment I would normally press the jump button he would be already going out of the platform, so that made every little jump a challenge (and not a good one).
I liked it ^^ I just thought it was kinda confusing, sometimes there are lots of connected nodes, and sometimes not. It would be cool if it got harder over time, or just faster
I liked it, very well made. At one point I think the humans destroyed a ship I had selected, and then I couldn't select any other ship anymore and couldn't keep playing.
GaTechGrad: True, doing this was a great way to try some interesting concept, but it's not a viable game at all
Thanks everyone for playing, commenting and voting <3
+1 for the potato (not voting, just commenting)
Hold down and kick to lock your opponent pretty much for ever :P I don't get the explanation... fight "yourself"?
Not bad. Has a couple small bugs here and there, but still a fun little game
Great job. It's a very simple concept but the level of polish is very high.
I couldn't help myself from giving it a 5 on everything. It deserves every single one of those stars
Tested it on a couple of emulators but it didn't work well. It was laggy, crashed a few times and the sprites blinked a lot. Worked well on chrome
Sweet game mechanics and music ;)
Amazing sound work, it complements the game really well. The feel of the game is perfect.
Just wish there was more variation or more goals, then it would be even better. Got $560 ^^
Cool game, the last puzzle was pretty interesting to solve ^^
Wow, very interesting concept. Kinda confusing, but cool
(is it just me or does the computer cheat?)
It's a good game, but the randomly generated levels don't work in favor of it.
The first two times I could just walk in the direction of the exit with one of the guys and get the second one there with a couple movements.
The third time the level actually generated in a way that took some thinking to find a way to get there
I enjoyed it, the level design is quite good. The moment you realize that that seemingly innocent spike pit is actually a passage was a nice touch.
Like it was said above, dying is very glitchy. And I didn't knew what the golden key did because I went straight for the upper path first, but then I decided to backtrack and found the ending
Cool concept and graphics. Looks kinda glitchy sometimes, and is hard to control. My mouse sensitivity was super high so I would often spin and get lost
I'll rate this a ? out of 10. Too confusing for me ^^'
(not giving any ratings, just commenting)
Interesting concept. Looks like it would take too long to beat though...
I had a bug where some times the enemy tanks didn't have a
turret, so my towers didn't shoot them.
And their tanks would shoot my towers before I built them (they were still on the mouse)
Cool idea. Not clear enough what's the goal, though. Took me some time to know what I was doing, since all graphics are so abstract
My advice is that you don't make it too difficult, as most people playing won't have the patience to try it more than a couple times.
I must have died at least 50 times and couldn't get past the first area. Collision boxes seem to be bigger than they look, and a lot of times I couldn't create a platform
It runs fine on Chrome btw
Good job on the game. Is it just me or is it too hard? Couldn't get past the first level after two tries.
Good job finishing it. My advice is that you don't make it too difficult, as most people playing won't have the patience to try it more than a couple times.
I didn't watch my score at the end but I think I was over 15k ^^ You should have it display your highest score under your current score (unfortunately you can't change your game anymore)
Also, did you make the music yourself? Just a reminder that you can't use pre-made music (the quality of the sound makes me think you downloaded it somewhere)
Aaaand I think I know where this is... (being pink and all) But there are cannons so idk :P
I like how it requires fast reactions to defend or attack. But I kept on getting a bug where the AI would stunlock me and it takes like 10 seconds for it to let go of me
What a cool concept ^^ Good job
The controls don't seem to work for me :/ Playing on Chrome
Found a bug
A potion had the option to give to a villager, I clicked the button and nothing happened. Now I can't click anything else
