A pigeon's life: shitting on humanity by peggiosoft 2012-12-17T03:22:00
Never thought I'd ever see a game about pigeons's shitting bricks. :) Nice.
Audio would be great for comedic effect.

I've installed both the redist VC2010 and VC2012 versions but the game still will not run on my Windows 7 64bit system, and I don't like scrounging random .dlls from all over the net.
It's a shame since this game looks very interesting and now few people will be able to play it.
I tried your game again. This time it works. :)
I love the concept and realized mechanics. It's really fun trying to avoid the cops while trying to reach your target.
I have only to significant points for improvement. Zooming in and out all the time for the overview is a bit annoying. Maybe markers at the edge of the screen would help?
Also certain regions often become impossible to navigate by the many cops, while the timer still runs out. This is basically a dead-end. I would suggest either remove the timer, reduce cops, or add a mechanic to otherwise deal with them.
Other than that, this could be a very addictive mobile game. Maybe people could even get more familiar with their own cities subway networks by playing this.
I like the idea of a mini-sized game like this. Seems interesting to put it into a website header or something for laughs. :)
While crushing cars was satisfying, I found the gameplay a bit too simple. It's really more of a toy than a game.
Love the concept, but I think the implementation can be a bit improved.
For me it was very hard to guesstimate the best time to start holding my breath for a full bar, so the game degraded in just choking continually and only releasing on a bar.
Of course, it may also be Working as Designed... :p
I like the graphics, though the most important part (the player) seems primitive compared to the rest.
Gameplay needs more work. I was able to run past all the guards merely by switching fast enough through their view so they don't notice. Make it more strict/difficult and it might get a lot more interesting.
Nice game. Very entertaining. Requires careful thought to be succesful.
Only real problem I have is I can't seem to distinguish normal nodes from mainframes. It seems Rome is a mainframe while places like Lagos and New York aren't? Fix that and you're golden.
Which sadist designed those controls? Never mind. It's a great game though. :) Amazing concept.
I Love the concept. It is really strong I think.
Implementation needs a bit of work to really shine. The little guys really need to show when they are doing something, or being deprived of something. Those 'need' bars need some clarification, maybe with icons. Also, how do I influence boredom? Is that the copy machines? What about fatigue?
Other than those minor issues. It's a great game. Really nice.
An ambitious concept.. an RTS is.
As the others pointed out. Some descriptions of unit capabilities and cost would help to make sense of things.
Also building stuff seems to take two actions: placement, and ordering unit to the spot. This is gets old fast.
With a little polish, this could be a very fun game.
Ps. Is there supposed to be audio? I'm not hearing any. (Windows/Web)
Nice game. Sort of a reverse tower defense. It runs very smooth and graphics are okay. Audio is a bit soft though.
Balance could use some work. Most levels are incredibly easy by spamming while the end is a huge difficulty spike.
Nice and simple game. I like the fact you need to 'lure' the gun towards one side to be able to hit the other side, though this makes hitting near the middle rather difficult. Polish that mechanic to make it more fun.
Selecting sats is a bit of a chore. Hotkeys on the num bar or cycling though them would work well.
Love the art style and mood of the game. Flying around is kind of relaxing.
Unfortunately it also runs at a very low fps on my machine.(Athlon X2 4200, Nvidia 8800GT) And I managed to get below the ground at some point.
I would love to see more games experimenting with flying game play.
Interesting artistic style. Though I would suggest adding more detail. Currently all walls look pretty much the same.
It is indeed more a tech demo than a game. Maybe a first step towards a modern Wizard-like?
gotta get some serious shuteye now. Local time: 2.57am.
Love the mood in this game. It feels so.. wrong.. somehow.. in a good way. :)
This is probably what would happen if Alan Wake and Mario ever got together. Unlike Alan Wake, this is actually fun.
The platforming controls indeed feel a bit clunky/slippery.
Interesting mechanics. It's kind of fun to try and guess the behaviour of the hero and place the best formation. The hero got blown up in my game in two fifth of the way to the end, by a massive chain collision. :)
The hero's comments are quite amusing.
A few very simple sound effects would improve the game by quite a bit.
I kind of like the dog fighting. Though the pace might be sped up a bit. Those exploding cargo containers look quite different from most how explosions are usually styled. Much better than popping fighters.
I had trouble with the controls because 1) the mouse can leave the game window and lose focus when thrusting/shooting and 2) the roll input seems inverted while the yaw sometimes acts a bit weird. Maybe a case of Gimbal lock?
Other than that, it's a neat little game. :)
Cow tossing and zombies. What's not to like?
Great game. Interesting interaction between those two mechanics. :)
I really like the art style and the particles. It reminds me of Asteroids somehow, only these shoot back.
As others have pointed out, the gameplay gets old fast without extra mechanics like pickups and powerups. I also wasn't really sure if I was supposed to avoid or ram other ships on collision course.
With expanded rules, this could be great. Kind of a shame that you spent so much time on the interface when it's only 1% of the experience.
