This would make a great intro to another game, and apparently that's what it is.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD22 → ALONE!

Interesting presentation of a poem, which would be nice to see taken further. Occasionally I didn't really get which order some of the words were supposed to be read in.
I didn't fall to my death on my first playthough, I always knew which direction I should be falling off the platforms. Not sure if the inclusion of a death mechanic is necessary though; if I had taken a wrong turn it would have been rather annoying and jarring to explode and return to the start of the poem. Would be better if it could be fully prevented, or handled a bit less extremely - fade to black and return to the last position where the player was standing safely, perhaps.
Would be amazing if you had made more than the intro!
It says good things that you laid out the text such that it leads the player to naturally take the correct path through the poem. I didn't even realize there was a possibility of falling to your death, though I did wonder what would happen if I went the "other way" from the one that the layout leads towards.
Definitely make this into more of an actual game. As of now it feels like "just" an intro (albeit a really slick one)
I love the typography you made and how the level guides you. But I agree that it looks more like an intro than a game itself.
It's a really interesting concept that I think would do well as the introduction to a larger game or something, but doesn't really stand for much alone. My only other real problem with it is that I felt like I was on rails most of the time, because I couldn't jump so there wasn't a lot of point in it being interactive rather than a video or some such. The premise has real potential thought and I hope you take it further.
I can't play the game, I only have a white line on black. I use Firefox 9.0.1 with Windows 7
Damn, I wanted more! :(
Nice idea using poem as "level", but... that's about it. Too short, and I wouldn't call it a game.
As others said... nice intro, where's the game? :)
I walked left :D
