Nice! Really neat and cute!

floriaen 2011-12-18 14:32

Really cool game sir!
Well done.

spaceoff 2011-12-18 17:38

Very nicely made, well polished, not the best gameplay ever but good enough for an LD.

Sicktick2 2011-12-18 19:56

A thumbs up from me!

madmaw 2011-12-18 22:25

OMG this is the best game ever!

Acrux 2011-12-18 22:30

Easy and Normal mode are quite easy. Hard is a beast. Overall good game, enjoyed it!

menderslan 2011-12-19 03:14

Wow great job! The graphics and sound design are superb.

snowflower 2011-12-19 06:11

Love it. I like the pixeled look

leverpastej 2011-12-19 10:10

Nice game and plays well.

ernyz 2011-12-19 10:12

Wow, graphics are amazing, cool game :)

fishbrain 2011-12-19 10:30

awesome little game! love the graphics!

snowflower 2011-12-19 18:53

would love to see the source on how you made this. It looks like you rendered it into a very small rendertarget, and then did pixel art for the UI on top.

gavin_pugh 2011-12-19 20:29

Great job! The animation and art are superb. Awesome audio too; a fun little game.

wgemigh 2011-12-19 20:57

I enjoyed the game quite a bit and the graphics are frankly amazing. I like the little touches, like the fact that the level loops around and that the obstacles have a sound that appears slightly before they show up.

I don't think I'd play for too long, but there's enough gameplay for a couple of play-throughs.

Great job!

sharbelfs 2011-12-19 21:32

really nice!!!

mattrix 2011-12-20 01:21

Great game. The art and sound are super solid. I love the super low-res 3D feel. It gives it a weird retro-yet-futuristic feel. The gameplay is really intuitive, and there are a lot of nice subtle touches, especially the way the planet loops around.

cytanlord 2011-12-20 01:47

Absolutely wonderful. I enjoyed myself immensely with this little game. The graphics are pretty, sound fits nicely, and winning feels great! Even if it does send a cat soaring through space....I'm sure he'll be fine. Great job!

ziomorti 2011-12-20 13:13

Great atmosphere and the gameplay is pretty solid. Great job!

the-jack 2011-12-20 17:54

Where's the source at? Is the pixel effect a shader?

codexus 2011-12-20 19:27

Nice game, original concept and one-button gameplay. And great cat (superb animation)!

What I don't get though, is the pixelated effect. It's Unity so it's not a technical limitation and it really ruins the game's graphics.

Also post the source, please, it's mandatory for compo games.

irreal 2011-12-20 19:51

Masterful! Loves it.

djcsdy 2011-12-20 22:44

YEAH! A winner is me!

This is awesome. I love it.

shigor 2011-12-21 01:26

Although it's simple reflex based game, I really liked it - resulting visuals are excellent, I'd really love to see your sources how you made it in Unity :)

_ferritt 2011-12-22 17:36

Nice simple and very well presented

covebit 2011-12-23 19:43

Lalz, cool :P

matthias_zarzecki 2011-12-23 23:46

Cute idea. Love the graphics.

kalle_h 2011-12-26 17:25

sauce pls

kalle_h 2011-12-26 17:26

Best game with kittens ever. I like sound echo, graphics and light/shadow stuff.

sonnybone 2011-12-27 01:26

I LAUNCHED INTO ORBIT. I dig the art style here. The gameplay is fairly simple and standard for this type of game, but the premise and graphics set it apart.

pierrec 2011-12-29 16:22

Best graphics on Ludum Dare EVER!

hazard 2011-12-30 16:44

No sourcecode download?

drpetter 2012-01-01 19:29

Beautiful! I never thought it would actually be like the screenshot... like, it could just as easily have been a silly clip-art concoction. Lots of fun, and well-balanced. The dog sounds like a cat in the end, though.

make-a-game 2012-01-06 00:00

The graphics made me remember the old days of voxels. It's short and easy to learn, but I'm bummed that it's another runner.

murrayl 2012-01-09 22:21

But where's the required source?

doktor-ace 2012-03-07 13:59

Hi guys!

I'm sorry for a very late answer, but I've been caught up with work.
The reason there is now source is because the game was made in Unity Pro, and I didn't think most people could use it.
I have however converted the game to a more simpler Unity Free-version that anyone should be able to use.

You can find all the information here: http://farrokhgames.com/?page_id=18

And feel free to download the source! :D
