wally2069, it's actually weighted so that you can go 2px into the bottom, and 1px into the top of the spikes. It does feel a bit frustrating to die when you're only 3px into them still, though (since it's basically only your ear touching it), but I found that it seemed a little weird when you could go through it more than that, like collisions weren't working.
KevinWorkman, could you be more specific? I can't find a problem.
dogbomb, I take it you've only played the LD version. If you try the version on Kongregate, I've fixed most of the issues people have complained about, including the player's maximum height on the screen (you can now see ahead a little more than a full jump). After adjusting the height, I never feel like I'm unfairly killed by a random spike group (you can be reckless and have it happen still, so you should still try to be careful).
If you liked the LD version, check out the Kongregate version! I think you'll have fun with it.
Vladp995: The levels are evolving through a genetic algorithm; when you beat a generation it mates the levels together and makes a new population.
@rankaquion Yeah, that was definitely on my mind while programming the game! Unfortunately there were just so many things we didn't have time for (like sound)
@carlotaesca We considered that, but it would make teleporting across two rows instantly impossible, which is needed for some patterns (and a better experience once you acclimate to the controls)
Really nice game feel on those cannons.
Conceptually this is really funny... I like the fantasy of the situation: a blacksmith who has to fight skeletons. They're like pests.
Dude, the 3d effect on this is so cool! I have been wanting to see this done with HaxeFlixel for a long time, and it works *really* well here. Really nice work.

From a jam perspective it's a little unfortunate that it doesn't have original audio, but the overall quality is just absolutely fantastic (especially the art and mood).

Nice concept! It's like a shooter + The Incident. I'd like to see a things more hectic with the physics and falling objects, I think that could be really fun.
