Nice music and pretty nice graphics. The game is a bit ridden with bugs, though. At one point my sword attack didn't work anymore, and I was still moving with 0 health. The light orb thing is neat-looking but the mechanic it provides needs work; it's hard to predict, not very strong nor gives any strategy. Nice try, I hope you do a post-compo version!

Loving the premise, the music, the sprites!!
There's a fantastic feel to the visual setup here - a great and foreboding atmosphere.
Ending screen was funny.
Gameplay needs work!

The game does have a very nice atmosphere, but I agree that the gameplay needs some work - nice effort though!
Btw, had a crash issue on Windows XP - had to set the executable to Windows 98 compatibility to be able to play.

Nice graphics!
The combat systems was a bit difficult to understand.
Good job on submitting!
Thanks everyone for the comments!
I agree the game play needs plenty of work - it is a bit buggy and unstable... I still haven't got that part right in my games.
Glad you liked it in any case! :)

Apparently I don't have sufficient hardware to run this. Says it requires OpenGL 1.3, and this machine can only support 1.1.0 or somesuch. I'll see if I can run it on something else later.
This was fun. Although I think the combat doesn't work.

Great atmosphere, but it feels unfinished. In the beginning I tried to kill all monsters but notices it's futile. There's no way to regain health.
And the exit sign says "Next" ;)
