Good graphics and controls, but it was way too short.
I like the beams that come down, especially as they blow stuff up. Nice touch!
This was a lot of fun, very Diamond Hollow-esque. I'm always impressed by how well the die-then-level-up mechanics works in games like this. Overall great job!
Neat idea, but pretty short.
A bit boring, but not a bad game. Toward the later levels though it can get a bit random, since there doesn't seem to be any check to prevent one of the pink blocks from starting on top of your guy.
I like this concept quite a bit! I have only two complaints: First, the music got a bit repetitive after awhile. Second, some of the puzzles seemed to be somewhat ill constrained; I felt like I solved them by cheating/using a particularly inelegant solution. Of course I think that it is quite difficult to make levels for this kind of game, so hats off to you for creating as much as you did in the time limit!
Graphics were great! But the game was way too short.
I love the sound effects, and the game is really fun. The only thing I could possibly fault it for is being yet another cannabalt.
In addition to being so high profile, this is also one of the most fun entries of the competition this year! Congratulations to Notch on making yet another amazing game!
Wow! This is amazingly polished! The only thing is that it does seem to be a bit frustrating, but the addicting music and slick presentation kept me coming back for more. It feels almost like a pachinko machine, I want to keep dumping more tries into it.
Interesting concept, but I couldn't really figure out what to do with all the people. Also, am I supposed to be playing as an arsonist or a firefighter?
Nice work! The multiple bomb powerups didn't seem helpful until I figured out that I could spam the button and stack them on top of each other for a combined effect. Also the map was a bit boring, and probably too large.
It was pretty neat, and I like the bomb mechanic. However I have two major complaints: 1. The controls are way to slippery. 2. Waiting for the bombs to go off is a bit tedious. It seems like it would almost work better if they just exploded immediately.
It is really hard to place blocks and move to the right at the same time. I almost feel like the mouse would be a better button to use for the blocks, and perhaps e could be used to toggle between the two modes. Also the looping background noise gets a bit old.
Neat little game, I made it through once, though the second time I got stuck at the sumo level. There seems to be a bug where if you die there, the sumos don't ever stop coming in.
Hah! I like it, very clever!
Well, this is a very ambitious and unusual game no doubt, and for that alone I am willing to give it quite a few points. However, it is also a bit unweildy at times and it is difficult to figure out what the goal is. The idea of programming the robots is really cool, but it seems difficult to use properly.
Had major performance problems, also whenever I left clicked the level mysteriously vanished for a split second.
This was great when it worked, but there were quite a few times when it felt like the level design was slightly broken. In a few places the antagonist randomly teleported on top of me and instakilled me before I had a chance to react. Other than that, great use of the theme!
What a cool concept! A pretty fun game if you have two people!
I laughed, but that sound hurt my ears.
I tried, but I could not get this game to run. Sorry, :(
KilledByAPixel: Thanks! Glad you liked it! As a protip, try using shorter gestures to move the ball around instead of clicking and holding (kind of like rolling a trackball). Also, on the donut level the frosting is very slippery, so you can try rolling on the cake part of the donut to keep the ball under better control.
I couldn't figure out how to get past the second level. The game seemed to keep glitching out and turning me into a ball, whereupon I would immediately fall to the bottom of the screen and roll around down there. I like the idea though, and it seems like a promising concept.
Nice!
So cool. I finally managed to get the core!
Can't play, linux :(
Haha! This is bad ass! Fantastic work!
Interesting idea, and I think there is a kernel of a fun game here. As a suggestion, maybe add some recoil when the ship hits the ground? Also, the laser controls seem a bit wonky.
Takes a long time to get started. Maybe set the timer for less than 15 minutes?
Can't run, linux :(
No linux version :(
This looks cool, but as a linux user I can't play :(

This game looks fantastic! Unfortunately, the mouse firing doesn't work on linux. I tried to play it but couldn't get very far.
It's very... weird. I don't quite get what the rules are. Sound was nice though. Always refreshing to get a break from sfxr :P
Great job! Especially with getting the audio working in the browser.
No linux version :(
It's ok. My main issue is the use of non-original assets. Even in a jam game, it seems against the spirit of the competition.
Can't play, linux :(

Neat concept, but the game took a long time to load, and after that it crashed about halfway through the first level.
The song is really awesome.
It looks really good from the video. I wish I could say more, but unfortunately there is no linux version.
This game is frustratingly difficult. Especially in the places where you effectively get stuck after missing a red blood cell jump. Maybe it would be good to make some of them respawn or remove some bottomless pits?
nilstatic: Thanks! Here is a protip:
In chrome use CTRL + Mousewheel to increase the size to make things easier to see. This can help with clicking on stuff.
Also if anyone is having problems playing the game, please leave a comment. It should work in Chrome/Chromium.
Well, I posted the game on reddit. Seems to be working now, but there was a bit of a traffic spike for a while. Should be available now.
Also regarding the connecting screen: It will also do that if you have a browser which doesn't support websockets or canvas. Unfortunately I didn't get around to client side error reporting, so you may also want to try updating your browser (or using chrome).
Can't play on linux :(

Seems like the website only works intermittently. Intro was cool.
Movement was a bit too slow. I couldn't figure out what to do at the boss.

Interesting idea. Unfortunately, it seems like the later waves get a bit frustrating. It isn't really clear what you need to do to control the amount of material you get. Is the best strategy to just mash the button as soon as more stuff becomes available?
