LD23 — Tiny World

SpermWorld by AnimeGeek32 2012-05-11T00:11:00

Neat little game. Though when I finally got to the end, I was a bit disappointed. A more congratulatory end would have been ideal.

Nice graphics and audio.

Tinysoft by wurstknifte 2012-04-23T20:15:00

I liked the Half Life theme. Movement felt a bit awkward, in that you kept moving quite a bit after releasing a key. Otherwise nice engine. You should continue to work on levels even though the jam is over.

Empty by Tim Bumpus 2012-05-11T00:30:00

Couldn't get it to work for me. It would start to the menu, but would crash upon hitting return.

Seems like a neat game from the description.

Pony Spacial Golf by Koga SilverDragon 2012-04-24T00:17:00

The sound effect upon landing was a bit unpleasant. I couldn't quite get the hang of it, but it was a neat idea.

Tinysasters by Volute 2012-05-11T03:31:00

Really fun game. Unique gameplay, visuals and sounds fit together well. Great job.

A Bathtub Story by ehtd 2012-05-11T01:16:00

Like the splash screen as the program starts up. Sound effects were fun, graphics looked nice and all fit together well.

Quantum Entanglement by icefallgames 2012-04-23T19:16:00

That was a really neat level transition effect. I couldn't figure out the red/green disks on level 3 though. Maybe I'll come back to it later.

Beyond by ben 2012-04-23T23:17:00

Nice clean graphics. Movement seemed a bit slow though.

Tondie and Zupe by Cosmologicon 2012-04-23T23:24:00

The story kept the game interesting. I really like the zoom as you get farther away from the planet, seemed perfect.

Polarity by nornagon 2012-05-11T00:34:00

Wow, this is a really fun puzzler. Graphics are clean. The animation for the level text is slick. I'm probably going to play this all the way through. Some music would be nice, but its not a big deal. My entry was silent too.

Ant In Training by Syntaxide 2012-04-23T01:53:00

Also, there's a makefile included so Mac/Linux users with a bit of know-how should also be able to play.

Ant In Training by Syntaxide 2012-04-23T18:23:00

There's a cat in each level. Something special happens with that.

What did you think of the game though?

Ant In Training by Syntaxide 2012-04-23T20:04:00

After getting all the cats, you'll want to look around more on the level where you first get teleportation...

Ant In Training by Syntaxide 2012-04-23T22:48:00

Sure you can. I actually developed it on linux. Just grab it from github and make.

Ant In Training by Syntaxide 2012-04-24T02:25:00

There should be a "You Win" message at the very end. Collecting all the starts removes a rock in the cat shrine, allowing you to tele to the star.

This game is pretty NEET! by Sonictail 2012-04-23T18:41:00

Using the web version, the computer doesn't seem to do anything. And once I get it bed I'm stuck.

Tiny World of Bees by tripleVisionGames 2012-04-23T20:17:00

Is there a way to get more than one point in a single trip from the nest? How do you get more bees?

Operation Tinder Feat by cacciatc 2012-04-23T22:52:00

Fun theme, well executed. This was actually pretty fun.

Spider World by daerith 2012-04-23T18:59:00

Graphics look polished, and background music was nice. Other than arrow keys, what are the controls? I cant seem to do anything.

Spider World by daerith 2012-04-23T19:02:00

Ah, the double jump. Now that I've actually been able to play properly, I must admit the gameplay was pretty fun. IT was a bit short, but all the platforms were placed at perfect lengths away from you.

MoleculeCraft by Chrixeleon 2012-05-11T01:09:00

Nice graphics. Though as others have said, this isn't really much of a game. Perhaps if you had some way to teach with it it would be more useful / enjoyable. "Playing" through this game was essentially looking for formulas on wikipedia.

Certainly unique though.

Little City by dustmyte 2012-04-23T18:56:00

DRINK IT ALL UP.

Super Tiny Adventure by getRandomName() 2012-04-24T03:01:00

Is the game complete? I think I'm supposed to get wood from one person and bring it to the other to get a boat, but I can seem to do it.

I like the music and the art though. And the single screen rpg is an interesting idea.

Ant by YutPut 2012-04-23T19:23:00

Couldn't get pas t the yellow x to the right of the scene in the screenshot. Fun game otherwise.

Housefly by dacap 2012-04-24T02:55:00

Good job. Really liked the music, artwork was great, and exploring this world was pretty fun. And so funny too.

Dude Rescue by agnulf 2012-04-23T19:19:00

Why can I hold all these people?

Searching for Heaven by demonpants 2012-05-10T23:59:00

The round world was executed rather well. Some of the movement seemed a bit rough, but I really liked it overall. I got to like the third world and had trouble with a platforming puzzle, but that's my own fault.

When the reincarnation thing was introduced, I didn't take it seriously. I only discovered it accidentally when I walked into the spike ball.

I want to turn the heater on by Andrew 2012-04-24T00:13:00

Unique puzzle fun. I enjoyed playing through that. The item switching mechanics were a bit weird, but I got used to it.

Sirus the Virus by eburn184 2012-04-24T03:05:00

Good game. I only got up to the jumping trick, which I found really cool. I'll definitely play more later.

Bottled Worlds by Patacorow 2012-05-11T00:04:00

Great game. The graphics, audio, and instructions set this game apart from some of the others. Felt very polished.

I ran into a bug on the second level. After being attacked by one of the flying enemies, I bounced inside the wall and was trapped.

Naos by Sean Hogan (anodyne/even the ocean) 2012-04-24T00:05:00

Certainly an interesting game. And unique. I was expecting a horror game though based on the intro noise and the screenshots.

Planetship by s0ulcrusher 2012-05-11T01:03:00

Neat game. Exploring was actually pretty fun. I found it a bit difficult to select planets, since moving the mouse changed the perspective simultaneously. Maybe add an option for a selection mode, where maybe holding escape stops the mouse from changing your view.

The screen also got cluttered rather quickly through exploring dense galaxies.

Adventures in NoLand by ncannasse 2012-05-11T00:22:00

Fun game. Graphics were really good. I kept needing to restart when I discovered a more ideal course of action. It seems like this game needs to be replayed multiple times to be beaten.

Space Jumper by lucars83 2012-05-11T01:13:00

Fun little platformer. The background certainly made me feel small. After the first level, I wasnt sure if it had just restarted or if it was another level. Some sort of indication would have been nice.
