I think it works really well for what it is. Longer and prettier would of course be better. Nice dialog.

Controls and gameplay are good. I like that the enemies react to sound. Nice but short.
Simple, but well executed. The mechanics work nicely.
It was pretty good but shooting the gun tends to get annoying in sounds. Could have more different upgrades rather than make the gun faster. Maybe some music variety of enemy (a boss even)
Well done. Too bad for the fixed WASD scheme that made the controls awkward on my azerty keyboard, but I still managed to get to the end. The sounds didn't play consistently though, but that's not a big deal. Loved the various paraphrases of the theme!

Decent progression though, like when faced with zombies, it is much simpler to run than fight.

I love the particle effect, maybe a small alpha fadeout would have looked even nicer.
Plays well, the only problem is indeed that it is very short. But great job :)

Very nice elegant little entry well done! The audio though simple, worked quite well adding to the game rather than detracting as is so often the case in LD games!
Your game mechanic is pretty similar to the one I used, but I think you managed to get more content in level-wise and in terms of polish - I had more varied enemies but no time to really use them...
