Getting a 'LD20 has stopped working error' when trying to run the .exe on Windows Vista Home Edition 64bit.

Sorry to everyone experiencing trouble. I suspect you'll need to install the XNA redistributables for this to work: http://bit.ly/d7snYW I'll update the notes accordingly. Also, I'm going to try to do a silverlight port that can be played in a browser for easier access. Also hope to add some more levels, as the current game is basically a game mechanic preview.

Interesting concept. Wasn't exactly certain how to advance past the second screen..

"It's dangerous to go alone. Ride this!"

There's very little gameplay to show in the entry, but it's obvious that you had some amusing mechanics in mind. I'm not sure, however, how well it would work relying exclusively on moving from creature to creature without any risk to the player. Still, if you keep developing the web version I get we'll see where it takes you :)

Yup. looks like a cool idea. . now with some new puzzles this game could really rock. graphics are cool..

Very nice graphics! Got stuck on the 2nd screen unfortunately...

I have my doubts about the gameplay - it feels like I'm watching not playing - when I did throw a battery chaos ensued contributing even more to the feeling of lack of control.

Nice attempt though - keep it up!

Not bad, I think I see what game mechanic you were going for and I like it but (and maybe it's just me) I found it difficult to lineup the batteries with the robots so as to make them go where I wanted. I liked the graphics. The game could've been aided greatly by an introduction or tutorial of some kind on startup (I played the web version btw).

I think that overall it was well done but it needed more structure (things like a plot [however simple], making the goals more obvious to the player, etc.) Well done!

Woo for putting together an XNA game :P Also bonus points for tossing it together as a Silverlight title!

A tutorial splash would have helped. And I wasn't quite sure about the small belt pouch with my items in it as well.

Also, I guess as a ninja I'd want to kill everything? Especially with such a cast of killable antagonists :P Just from a thematic stand point as well, you don't expect a ninja to be so immobile and without attacks.

Definitely an interesting concept if elaborated on.

Thanks for all the feedback and support guy! I definitely had a story in mind as well as some tutorial levels. I even threw the story into a comic form a day or two after the jam deadline. I've been cleaning up the interface and adding some gameplay elements, and am about ready to concentrate a bit more on some levels. Hopefully have something new to post prior to the end of voting (even though it won't effect voting).
