Aww... just OS/X?
That was fun. Hard, though.
crashed due to formatexception. Nice graphics, what I could see.
Issue with wasd control - it obeys the repeat delay.
I saw you work on this on Twitch!
A lot of fun for ten seconds.
keyboard doesn't actually move the character - they just change the facing, it seems.
Very nice! Definitely worth further development.
Shouldn't need anything else. the 5 DLLs are in the zip, and it runs fine in and out of avast sandbox on my 64bit windows 7 machine.
At 10 second marks, a portal opens and monsters come through. For people who couldn't get it to work, are you running 32 or 64 bit OSes? Environment was VS2012+MonoGame on a 64-bit Win7 machine.
Issue with default installed .Net redist?
The enemies could be more dangerous, but the reds and blacks can kill you quite fast if you're not careful.
My original design had civilians the monsters would go after, but time limit -> <snip>. Also, the monster attacking could use more work, definitely.
Thanks for the inclusion :) It's definitely glitchy - less so in the latest version, but still.... :/
Hmm. Maybe. Apparently Supergiant Games has a NaCl version of MonoGame, I could look into that.
That was fun.
Web-accessible games ARE much easier to test, I must admit.
Music is amazing.
Couldn't get it to work - shows a screen, but no matter what I try, the most I get is a beep.
Couldn't move, likewise
Crashes when pressing spacebar.
<VBG>
Kind of missing a 'win' condition?
Ah. Bulldozer. Thought it was some sort of a weird dead-animal-horn or something.
Really liked the audiovisual style, the gameplay wasn't that fun, though. Needs something.
Tight controls, lots of fun. Not sure how much it relates to the theme, though. only one life? One character model? :D
@Lolshouse Dev Team: I know. Ran out of time. I was thinking it could spawn little 'lings, and you'd have to try to jump over and squash them, Mario-style?
Well. Enough interest. Will do.
The arena-style didn't suit me, but the game mechanic is great.
<VBG> Worked for me :D
Return? I'm still playing.
A nice investigative game, with an interesting take. Most annoying thing was waiting for the start menu to fade in.
Well, that was tons of fun. I liked the item-swapping mechanic. Played with kbd, so alt was something of a problem as alt+arrow opens the window menu.
Had to play all the way through. Something like this could definitely be developed further.
Neat and simple, not sure how it relates to the theme.
So... this game just ended in my actual Games folder instead of my 'try out ld things' folder. This game is HUGE. It's a winner. Kickstart, Greenlight, whatever. Add a little more to it - say, something like one-use - or slowly recharging .- items (a heat shield of some sort would have been nice, but maybe I'm just a poor player,) to give me an excuse to buy it on steam/desura.
Unstable theme, I hate it.
Not gonna make it for compo, probs
All else aside, I had loads of fun.
Very cool. I did get stuck due to the long distance between checkpoints, but it does seem like it's just barely doable if I was better at games.
