The graphics were good and the concept was delightfully quirky. Great job for your first LD!

Nice little top down shooter. A bit too long for me personally.
Please fix the broken link, thanks
This game was actually more fun than I thought it would be. The first level was a bit of a turn off so I was about to give it up, but I didn't and I'm glad I stayed in there. Keep up the good work :)
Nifty take on the genre, the song got a little annoying after awhile. Good job overall.
Love the graphics.
Cool idea, clean implementation, good job
I made a slight modification to the code so that it now works in both Chrome and Firefox. One of my event handlers was not working correctly in Firefox and so I shifted the code to jump to another handler and now it works on both.
@Kvisle, thanks. I really enjoyed making it, even though its painfully hard to enjoy. Its the first time I've done the LD and I was just happy to get something to work.
@Endurion, sorry first time for me, I guess I just didn't quite get how it was supposed to work. Its fixed now.
Cute game, really nifty idea, I have to agree that I would like to glide when the the umbrella is above you. It give you an incentive to move it instead of just setting it behind you. Great job :)
I think its a good base. The graphics are good and concept is solid. The gameplay could use some work, I felt the weapons were a little unbalanced, but that could just be me not getting it completely. Great work!
There was a lot to like about this game, the music and sound effects worked well with the game. The game had a bit of humor to it that went well with the sound and graphics. You and I both decided to use shoes that effect your jumping distance as the theme tie in. For the most part the game was a solid platformer, but it is very hard and the collision detection could use some work I think. I kept under or over jumping everything by the tiniest bit and dying. The third level is torture.
Seems like the controls aren't quite right. Jumping in particular is a bit of a chore and there is one section where it is particularly bad since the only way out is to double jump several times and I can't reliably do it for some reason. Otherwise I like this game. I just wish I could get out of that hole.
Looks awesome, sounds awesome, very smooth controls and the shadow is a really nifty touch to the adventure/platformer genre. Awesome game!
That was really hard on my eyes. Good work for 48 hours, but I just couldn't finish it.
Link isn't working.
Great game, not too hard but makes you think and the art style really works.
Is something supposed to happen after you kill everything? I guess not. Anyways, solid dynamics, the graphics and sound are good.
Quite honestly, I was just confused and clicking buttons. Eventually anytime I attacked or slaughtered I would win. I couldn't figure out the logic of it. Apparently I was a cruel and leader, since it looks like I got the bad ending. Triforce is a nice touch.
Seems a little buggy. After the knight destroyed my tower he didn't progress. And some of the little guys got stuck around his head. I like the idea, I think you could expand on this and make a solid game. Also, it didn't really seem like you were the villain in this. Good effort, and I liked your graphics.
I love when someone tries a different take on the old track and field style games. I felt like the computer opponent was a little overpowering and I never could keep up. The idea is really nifty, but I never saw that guy falter so it felt like a lost cause after 5 or so tries. Also, it seems that the balance between tools/weapons is a bit off. Really cool game, just wish it was a little more welcoming/balanced.
Awesome game. Don't know how you pulled it off. Outstanding.
That was cute. Fairly simple little game, with a bit of a message. Good job.
Really cool concept, but a little complicated. Unfortunately a number of people are going to get no further than putting in a core and leaving it, so then you have a bunch of bosses that just die, and that is no fun for the fighting part. I think you bit off a lot here and I'm impressed at how well it works.
I just don't see any challenge. I love the graphics, and its great to see you using html5. Essentially you have resource gathering element from an rts without it building to a greater purpose. I really applaud your effort. The dynamics are solid. Great effort, I hope you build on it.
