The game crashes when I try to play it. I do have XNA 4 installed and other XNA games work for me... It may be caused by hiDef profile.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD21 → HMS Lance

Couldn't get it to run, I'm afraid. Just sticks on the initial screen, with the giant picture of a boat.
The thing about the resolution you chose is that it's really nonstandard, you could have gone with 720p, because basically you made a game that only people with 1080p can play, and yet they don't get the benefit of their monitor resolution.
I agree Felipe, next time I will use 1280×720 as my size, though it may reduce the quality of my beautiful art ;)
Unskippable intro cutscene makes Jack put it in another window and play Minecraft until it's finished.
This game was brutally punishing. I liked the sailing controls but man. It seemed like the goal was to kill me as hard and as often as possible.
Good take on the theme. The game is quite hard. I learned to "avoid" cannoballs, but rocks seem to have a very big collision box. Took me a while to figure out which route I was supposed to take. At least I made it.. bare-ass naked on tiny boat :) Like the graphics and voiceover is cool. Though perhaps that effort could have been spent on more gameplay/polish.
