I wanted to add giant levers for the cow to mess around with stuff, but ran focused more on the environments. I'm not a programmer, was more like a challenge, so there isn't really a 'game' there :) thanks!
Very well put together aesthetic. Visuals, sound, camera work really well. I like the typography as well. Well done!
Fucking awesome art. Hard game too!
The art style is neat, I like the second promo screenshot you have. The car can be driving a bit faster, It actually feels good to crash into other cars, have them explode, so maybe that doesn't slow you down, but gives you more demon driving powers? I didn't get what the tripple hex shapes are and why they kill you. More variety of backgrounds behind the road would add a lot to the game. Neat prototype.
nice and simple. Destroying things is always fun with physics! Finished the game. Would play more levels. Don't find self-resolving levels particularly interesting (the dominos for example), but rather structurally sound buildings which I can weaken and find vulnerabilities of etc. Good job!
It was pretty satisfying. I like the way you can keep up speed if you time your flips well. Could play around with more shapes, like triangles, that would be interesting!
Neat take on cellular automata. Needs some ambient forest sounds and maybe particle effects, birds etc flying off, more juice :)
This is so good! I love little oddities like these :D
This is an awesome use of theme with a twist! Awesome awkwardness of the car controls as well, everything just fits together nicely.
This is amazing. One of the weirdest LD games I've played so far.
I like the monster creation part, but the MUD style game with the village feels out of place with the fidelity of character creation screen. Looks great, can make fun faces, see how that itself would've taken all of the time, so really well done on that part!
Looks like you guys had fun making this. Very simple, not much to it. There are a few really frustrating bugs, especially dying while coming out of camouflage.
The UI is really nice. The game doesn't seem very challenging though? Felt good though, with more actions at the core game loop, could be a very nice board game actually I think.
Totally unexpected. Love the second intro. Cowtamari!
It's both interesting and confusing, what you've done with the folding walls. I think it's not very intuitive and doesn't really complement the goal of the game. There's too little feedback as to whether I'm doing the right thing, doing well or badly. The game doesn't really explain itself through gameplay.
I really like the art, but the game is not that fun. I thought it would be a typing game, but then after the first one, I'm like ok, what's next, and it just stays the same. Feel like there's some potential that was wasted, because the art, lighting and animations are good.
the dropbox link doesn't work for me
This is the 4th swat-ships-with-tentacles-kraken game I've played in this LD, so can't give you much on innovation. Good art though. Probably not so much fun for me because yours wasn't the first one I played, but I recommend going over those to see what they've done differently.
That's some crazy amount of upgrade options :D
The graphics look good, nice use of color and lighting. Your sound could do some work with simply making it positional... that clock ticking takes you out.
The story feels a bit heavy handed, but other than that a narrative does feel like it exists in a world where events took place.
The web version is the worst way to experience this kind of work, because of either in-frame small screen or bad res scaling. Would have downloaded to play properly if that was the only option, feel like part of the experience concerning the feel and distractions was ruined because of unity web plugin. Good work
Gota save the children! NO!
the controls seem a bit convoluted, so I didn't really get how to play, but the whole thing looks like a 90's music video, there are even funny dances, and then space suit guys come in and jump around! So I actually just enjoyed watching the whole thing over a few loops XD
Cool concept, would enjoy it more if it was actually in retro pacman graphics as far as readability and accessibility goes. Not a fan of voice snippets, probably because I don't really follow those guys that much. Sometimes changing character wouldn't register and send the previous guy across the map. I think going back to 2D would be the best thing for this game.
I like the attitude of this game. Stole my secret tech! :(
:D
the music ruined it for me. Very mismatched, didn't want to keep playing just so that the music stops.
This is such a weird mix of things, everything in this game feels out of place, and that's what makes it seem.. coherent? I don't know, but the texturing is bad, especially the grass, the golem is plain grey, the people are 2D and buildings bounce around and the music is like what? I think all this together makes a wtf kind of experience so I like it :D
Awesome production quality. Couldn't try it out with others, so can't really tell what gameplay is like. The jump is kinda glitchy, can't move forward and jump properly.
Looks really good, nice candy shaders!
