Nice tentacle game *chuckles* :D What if there where guick keys for the tentacles to stick to mouse? Or would that change it too easy. Interesting gameplay. It's fun to smash boats and stuff with this one. Great work!

I love the look of this game. The animations are great. The arcade style feel and difficulty curve is also very nice. Great entry.
One thing that might improve gameplay:
Allowing a keypress to control which tentacle you're controlling so you don't have the repetitive mouse movement back to the starting point. This also probably limits the difficulty scale.

The "each tentacle can deal with a specific threat" thing is kinda arbitrary, which detracts from it a bit for me. Not sure what the alternative would be though.
A score for how many things you've destroyed would probably make it a bit more engaging.
A few bugs that you're probably already aware of: had a plane crash but keep firing underwater. Had some torpedoes explode before getting to me.
