Very funny game.
I like the fact that you can die smashed by your own robot.
The controls are simple and intuitive.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD32 → RCCAT - Radio Controlled Cat

Very nice idea. I think controller support would have made controls easier, left stick player, right stick rccat.
Thanks for the comments. I haven't tried how the controller support is made but obviously it would have been perfect for this.
Really good idea!neat game dude.
It's a very nice game. Great work! ;)
It was tricky to learn to control by the dude and the RCCAT simultaneously, without stomping over the dude with the cat. I think the lethality of the cat to the player was a valuable gameplay element addition to the core concept of controlling two characters at once.
It was tough navigating, though, because the viewport was centered on the player, not the cat, even though the cat was the one at the front of the action. I would have preferred if the viewport had either been centered on the cat, or at least centered on the average point between the cat and the dude.
Once I got the hang of it, I destroyed all the enemies I could find, but the game claimed that I still had 10 enemies remaining. Since I couldn't find them, I decided to just stomp all the remaining houses myself, because what else is a person to do with a gigantic RCCAT and no objective? :-)
Thanks for reminding me how uncoordinated I am! I ran over myself several times and I'm sure I destroyed many more houses than the aliens. Great take on the theme!! Pretty much the perfect unconventional weapon. (I'm curious as to whether it was built as a weapon or just re-appropriated from its original purpose (and what that purpose was).)
Also I disagree with Andy Gainey above about the viewport. Centering it on the human adds to the challenge and also makes the most sense given the context (you're controlling the cat - you aren't the cat).
Hi Andy and thank you for the feedback. I admit its rather difficult to control, but the viewpoint is centered to the human because the cat is only the weapon (as reheated also noted). And yes there is a bug that prevents you from winning. Sorry, but I noticed only after I uploaded the game here.
Great idea, fun and challenging! Wow!
Really fun and innovative! This is one of my favorites so far, good job!
The game is a lot of fun, i loved the fact that i can destroy the city as well as the enemies XD.
Cool music, the graphics a bit less.
Pretty innovative the single player co-op.
Contrary to Andy Gainey i prefer the camera centered to the player because the control radius is equal to the dimension of the screen.
