One of the best entries i've seen so far. Simple and beautifully executed. Well done mate!

Awesome mood and sound. Sadly it closed midway after i've pressed ESC by accident :(
Kudos!
I think i played this game for almost one hour...gosh i can't believe you've done so much. Kudos!
As a critique, i think air raids should be more extreme but more avoidable (like, adding the possibility of hiding in other bunkers for a price!)
Anyway, formidable!

That end animation ahahaha
Love the idea but the platforms are way too distant.
Good job tho :)
I like the terrain shapes!
Great concept and style.
But the soundtrack (on the post-compo version) goes on the oposite way of the game's mood IMO...
"SWOOSH BOOM POW PTING 10/10"
I like "endless arcade with upgrades" games because they get harder and harder as you play and resource management also takes a big part on the gameplay experience.
However, one wave is always as hard as the other. I've fully upgraded two weapons and saw no difference between them.
Besides, if you're useng right click on Unity Webplayer you're suposed to toggle the "Hide Context menu" mode on build settings -> Player settings.
It's a nice idea, but needs to be worked on!
Quite Fun! It's hard to see when the devil is taking control but once you understand the signs it's easy to go full five-fingers-exorcist on him.
YARrrR PIRATES.
Promising! But battle was quite messy!
I did really enjoy the dialogue and style.
YES I DID IT \o\\o//o/
Ok, this one wins for me. For one side it's total ludum dare candy, but on the other side it's SUPER FUN.
- It follows the #1 Roguelike rule IMO: "Hard, but if you die, it's your faul."
- Marvelously color-coded. You always know who is who and what is what.
- TIMING. F*cking, timing. Generous pauses, upgrades and time to breath and take a cup of water between raging waves of spiders.
- Controls are absolutely responsive. I know what i did and why i did it.
Above all, it's FUN. FUN DO YA HEAR ME. I would absolutelly pay for a longer / multiple-staged / co-op version of this game on Steam. It feels absolutely badass to shoot while digging and throwing resources at the camel
For me, mate, you win. Big time.
To be fair, my critique:
- The intervals should be more spaced: getting inside one of those stations should A) Clear the enemies B) Enemy spawning should cease as soon as the station appears in scene.
- While inside the stations your life should be displayed. Sometimes i was unsure of how many hearts i had. It would be good to know how much i've upgraded other stats as well.
- There should be an alternative way to gather the resources. Example: Keeping "C" Pressed while close to the camel would transfer resources, two points/ second. Throwing should be a faster, but alternative way (more risky).
- I believe more enemies would add a lot to the gameplay. That considered, i believe player and enemies should have different colors.
Kudos mate. Kudos.

You made me wack a panda, a penguin and a gnome and i feel like a terrible persona after playing your game :(
Fun, tough!
Awesome entry! It was hardcore fo sho but dayum, DAT color-coding. Everything was coherent and fitting to the environment. However, I would love to see a better exploration of the "mirror" mechanic.
That's a really complex entry and the kind of game i love to see around here. Awesome character design regardless of the sketchy art. And the intro was really funny. Good work on this one folks :D
The way the hald after shot really builds up some tension. Great entry!
The Ipaddysters send their regards.
Wacky fighting mechanics, but the characters and "plot twist" right at the start made this one of my favorite games so far. And i've played -a lot- of'em.

Quite interesting a weaponless bullet hell.
And I really like the music!
Nice Arcade! I like the directional shooting system and power ups
I like the 3d walljumping mechanics and the terrain.
Sometimes reaching higher spots is quite frustrating, but it's a good entry nonetheless.
Btw, how did you do this "low poly" terrain?
"Tony Hawk's Pro Jaws Simulator 2014 The Movie The Game"
Really cool! But steering is really really hard on the keyboard :T
First of all, this game wasn't fun. Not at all.
But then, if it was fun, i think i would be missing the point.
It's cruel and it's true. I would give you five starts for "Reality being slapped in your stupid face", but since there is no such a thing like that in Ludum Dare, you'll get my points for mood.
Nice mechanics / storytelling combo and great music. Some steps further and you might have a really good game
Great writing! The replay thing was quite neat.
Good entry!
Cool! But the light time should last more than that, it's really hard to dodge something you can't see at all
Sorry, i was unnable to rate the game for a simple reason: it's impossible to play without killing yourself. My own bullets are colliding with me :(
Really neat idea AND implementation! Looks good, plays nicely and consequences are fair.
I'm a great fan of well-executed camera effects, so, kudos on that.
Would work great on mobile!
I had a really hard time figuring out what to do ._.
That was one of the weirdest games i've played here! haha!
It's a great idea! It would be nice if the text box could give me a hint about the apropriate verbs to use, my ending turned out quite messy because of that haha
I'm sharing it:
http://tinyurl.com/o2qlvfb
Good work!
Oh, and awesome animation too
God this game is tense. hahah!
It took me a while to figure out the way it works, but it would be a great mobile game IMO!
Stealth Multitasking while hiding space drugs, livestock and immigrants? You've got it right mate.
I like fast paced games, but audio is an important part of feedback in this kind of game.
This game's got potention. Tweak it up :)
Also, bug report:
I've died midway and kept shooting AND walking
I love stealth games and the "you've got one shot/few shots" thing was great.
While simplistic, the graphics are great at information distribution, so kudos on that.
PS: I had to zoom ou in order to fit the game on my screen (1366 x 768)
I feel like a terrible person for playing this.
The polish is astounding but the controls feel kinda rigid.
Bullet hell bro fist for this entry!
I haven't played a melee Bullet hell for a while, great game!
Looks good but it's buggy and i can't really see the objective here...
Very good. Quite rich in content and gameplay.
But i think that the dust effect was way too strong, it was really really distracting and that's not the kind of stuff you want on a slow-paced siulator game.
- Interesting game!
- I love the paper style, but making the fish flip would be better than backflipping him haha
- I love the music
- AWESOME UI!
Great art....but quite hard to figure out what to do.
Ant Simulator 2014.
I really like the wall climbing!
I'm a terrible, terrible farmer :(
Would be a good mobile game!
Allrighty, i was about to jump on conclusions here and then i've read about this Angelina and: WOW. wow.
It's a wacky game, indeed. But done by an AI? The way things are evolving nowdays i might loose my job soon.
Kudos!

i can't relate it to the theme, but it's a fun little game.
Quick and fun arcade goodness. I like the way the gameplay works, but i think adding different behaviours for the clouds would make it much more interesting
Nice concept, but the grapple controlled kinda weird.
Besides, a simple explanation at the beggining would be a big help haha
Awesome controls and gameplay. Even if the art is simple, it's coded properly and you know what is what and who is who.
But:
- I've failed to grasp the theme here...and what about that intro?
- That.Scream.
THAT ending.
GOTY 2014
It's hard to figure out how the game works but i like the concept and visuals!
@nezzhill thanks for the bug report. those rocks where a real headache.
@BMacIntosh yeah that link thing sucks. But Unity can't open a link in a new tab without some javascript on the hosting webpage and you know....48 hours :(
@danialhyatt it is suposed to feel like an iron-heart general is scolding you for the failure. hehe.
war is cruel.
Thanks for the feedback goodness, people! We'll be taking the project forward....but not much. I believe it' beauty lies in simplicity. A chaotic, fish-smelling simplicity.
The final wave wasn't suposed to exist in the original plan. I've added it during the final hour of development and it came out absolutely unbalanced haha
I will definitely write a post mortem on that one.
And for everyone that enjoyed the SFX and music: Leo's souncloud, bandcamp and website links are inside the game (I'll add to the game's description soon). He does wonderful and atmospheric music and deserves your ear's attention :)
Simple yet smart mechanics, check.
Beautiful and gameplay-friendly art , check.
Well written and fitting theme, check.
Well done mate. Well done.

- Quite easy until obstacles pop out: Then it's hard as hell!
- Quite fun!
- Superb audio!
Brilliant!
I love to see that kind of stuff on game jams.
It took me a looooong while to load the controller, but it was worth it.
Kudos!
You've done an outstanding work with the lights and the overall mood.
The idea of mixing up a "visual novel" style game with defense mechanics was quite interesting! I think that it would be really if the story was responsive to the defense gameplay in real time rather than bein a long alternative to a text box.
Good work!
Nothing happened :( i'm pressing all the keys and nothing happens
Awesome visuals, audio and camera. Nice theme interpretation.
Would love to see this as an actual game!
Feels like a Mario Party mini game and it would be a good multiplayer!
Sadly i could not run it, my graphic card does not suport DX 11 and crashes as soon as the game starts
[/FunnyPants mode off]
Honestly, that's the kind of stuff i LOVE to see on a game jam. It's pointless, it's funny and it's above all, fun.
THANKS OBAMA
Oh, and by the way [MORTON SPOILER ALERT BELOW (seriously)]
I KNEW things would go lovecraft as soon as i began playing it. So, even under the shroud of randomness that is this game, you managed to transmit the feeling of the occult through it. Believe it or not, i'm not kidding.

Hey! The Monastery is featured on my "favorites" post

Gosh, that was hard haha
Nice mechanics, but the level design should do a better job a guiding the players through. Check out the Umihara Kawase games for a nice example!
So, i really like the visuals and the whole pointing and shooting mechanics, i think it would suit really well for a megaman-like pc game.
That said,
- the "run" button was unnecessary, running should be the default movement since there is no need to walk slowly during the game
- besides the turret, no enemies ever did me any harm
- returning to the starting point as a punishing mechanic only works if you force the player to repeat the same steps (even tough usually i'm against this kind of stuff, but it's a design decision). Making the player walk every single pixel again just because he lost, while all the quest items and enemies are gone is just a boring thing to do :(
Oh, and i like the music. Kudos on that one too.
Really really good writing and voice-over!
Only downsides:
- Paths were too long AND silent sometimes. No problem walking a lot if you're listening to the audio, but walking an empity corridor is quite dull.
- Platforming was standing in a weird middle ground here - it should either be challenging or easy and short.
- Audio should never overlap. I've triggered a text while one was still going on and they both went on in a terrible cacophony. That reveals two issues: one is that audio files are playing alongside and other is that the pacing at the final scene should be adjusted to the audio file durations.
One of my favorites so far. Kudos!

Looks amazing, but 9 out of 10 times things go bad when you worry too much about art on Game Jams.
Nice concept nonetheless.
I like dodging games, but the control scheme is way to complex and non-fluid. Besides, it's hard to predict the monster's movement and they're waaaay too fast...
This is the vilest game i've seen.
Not it Ludum Dare, in my entire life.

With some polishing and adjusting, this would be a great mobile game
Ladies and gentlemen,
We've lived long enough to play a mini-game about snorting cocaine. A game whose ending credits involve a rain of hallucinogenic pills.
This game is an achievment in modern society.
(But....uh...did i miss the theme here?)
The actual game was somewhat complicated, but the idea of using a "test" to determine in-game elements is awesome!
I am really good at killing myself in this game haha
Great entry!
I like the mechanics idea, but the puzzle structure is too simple.
Besides, i got confused with what was and was not a path.
I love the art. It took me back to the 80's, those torches felt bizarrely nostalgic to look at haha
And sorry but after telling me that i CAN levitate using a rock, i WILL levitate using a rock :T I'm a terrible person
I love puzzle games and this is the best one i've seen around here. Good.Job.
What a remarkable game for a ludum dare jam...
Even tough optimization was quite lacking (runs really slow on my laptop), it's polished to an impressivel level.
And i was thinking "Well, it's impressive allright, but it's just a game about shooting a line of enemies"
And then, "use your cells to buy stuff"
Turrets.

Cool concept, but some elements are quite frustrating, like the spider (it's quite unclear how does she causes damage and where is her hitbox). I love the "clones" idea as well
Great writing and audio :)
Oh, and you should use the "hide context menu"
option for webplayer. When i right-click the menu pops up
I'M TRIPPIN' BALLS
Hi!
My humble cents:
- Great atmosphere, you know it. Sound, ambient. All nailed up (game jam wisely)
- While the "ball and chain" with a motor mechanic is quite fustrating, it's an interesting new way to think about movement and how physics can affect it, so while i think it was not really implemented in a way that made any sense during gameplay, it was a nice idea and could easily be used under different circumstances.
The game came out without much of a objective, but you've created something that will certainly inspire other devs here and, hopefully, yourself. Nice job :)
Where is the "Trippiness" field for apropriate rating?
I might need a few pills.
- Love the Hägar the horrible-like style of the game and intro.
- The camera should be more zoomed out. It's hard to see obstacles and hazards along the path.
- Jump lacks control. It should be pressure sensitive (really easy to implement in unity and the default character controller already does that).
It's a really charming game, anyhow.
Kudos!
I really like the flocking behaviour, but it took me a while to get how things work.
PS: I love the intro! haha :D
You get my points for theme interpretation, but while the game was packed with great ideas, it had a few breaking issues:
- Things are too big. It's easy to hit the rocks and ground even whn you think you're away from them. Besides, there is zero death feedback. I don't know when i'm getting killed by rocks, ground or lasers.
- Really neat thing to use the solar power, but going above the clouds is a consequence-free action. I can just stay in there charging and go back to the battlefield as soon as i'm ok.
Unfinished yet interesting, those "thought corruption" mechanics could easily be applied to narrative-based games. awesome
Really fun to play, quite hard for me but i love the monster animations :D
Quite a fun monster mother simulator (i guess? haha) i love how you can save the falling eggs in case you take them out too late
Great idea and i love the parody title xD
Fun little game! I feel so bad for the trees :(
While i do admit it's trippy and fun for a while, i kinda failed to see what i'm suposed to do here :(
I'm puking rainbows in a bucket, eating them back and puking again.
This game is so polished i can see my reflection on it.
Lovely!
Oh... my fingers hurt

:)
Heeeey you did a troll game too :D
I like the simple gameplay, even tough it gets quite repetitive in a short time.
the style is LOVELY, absolutelly adore it.
It took me a (short) while to understand the combo mechanics.
It feels like a mayhem playground, there's not much of a game to it but i kinda got hypnotized by it for 20 minutes while jumping around and crushing stuff.
Quite fun!
Great game! Became a king xD
Awesome art! Really. cooly descriptions too. Had fun playing it Good job!
It feels like some deep stuff is going on behind the level generator. this games makes me feel dumb. I like it.
There is so much GLORY in this game! HAHAHAH
The beep sounds when you go back, the awkwardness of it, the game over screen.
5/5 buddy.

Allrighty, so,
Even tough i was instructed to "eat everything i can", i had no clue of how much damage i've caused or how much time i had left.
I really like the splitting mechanics tough.
Loved the chupacabra's design and his walking animation, the art is nice. Didnt get why he slaps the sheeps insted of bitting them tho
Liked the highscore feature! Is nice to be able to compete
Awesome entry guys! Really polished game. Had a lot of fun, hope you keep it up
Aeris the adequately devious got far enough i think.
I love the humour and the names :) Good job
Oopsydoodle~
That's terrible :( sounds like the debug mode, i'll se to it
@pirate_shell we KINDA did that on purpose but after the third complaining I believe it is for the best to change the cover image

That was really fun! the recharging system is quite clever.
IF IT DOESN'T WORKS FOR YOU, CHANGE YOUR BROWSER
I like how it fits to the theme. Sadly, no one was playing with me :(
Cool game. Got me a little nostalgic haha. Nice job.
The best entry in the compo category so far IMO. AWESOME JOB
So, so much fun! New mechanics here! :)

It's really really good, one of my favorites so far. I kinda had to be a monster to survive...sent off half of the camp for scavenging, had enought resources for the 5 remaining to last for quite a while.
The tutorial goes for way to long, it could be shorter!
Kudos!

- Their face is really hilarious
- I love how the targeting system works and the overall rules of the game.
- Feeels awkward to play but i think that that's kinda the point. hehe
- Best title so far
- Cool ruleset :)
- Am i not suposed to "be the monster"? i'm confused
- Overall fun!
Cool game, liked the content amount
The puzzle structure is quite good, but sometimes the level is easier beaten without doing what the tutorial instructions says...
Alllllrighty what the hell happened here? HAHAHAH
Nice play with the theme but it was really confusing xD
So cool! Love the voices. hehe
Marvelous entry, we did somewhat similar-hearted games if you fancy checking mine :)
The style change at the end was a particularly great touch
Great visuals! It took me a while to get the hang of the game. Quite hard.
Fells more like i'm a toy story character, avoiding human sight. heh
Beautiful and fun to play. And i love the main character visuals :D
What the heavens...juggler jesus. Oh Ludum dare, you surprise me everytime.
HOLY COW i didn't see that ending.
The most boring game just won 4 out of 5 in fun. hahahah
Everything felt quite confusing but the overrall concept is quite good.
Great ambience construction but i didn't really get it...
Anyway, snakey just wanted looooove i guess. haha
I love the idea behind the gameplay, and even tough i've enjoyed it i had problems with the camera, i've constantly died from i-don't-know-what :(
Nice polish btw
Hehe gets hard after a while but good entry overall
Awesome, i love tangencial approaches to the theme.
Great work :)
Nice graphics. Found i feature that is not in the description while playing - "Ctrl" to get down
I love the story and the gameplay concept :) Sometimes it feels kinda dull to go back and forth through the same obstacles all the time , so i guesse the level design is the most lacking one BUT STILL it acomplishes quite well on it's purpose. Nicely done!
HAHAHA the monster's lines are priceless :D
- Looks great
- Even tough the grafics are minimalistic, the animations made quite clear i'm playing an ape-like monster
- Lacks objective :(
"OH LOOK, an incomplete cliff, hohoh i'll glitch the hell outta this game....WTF A ROBOT"
MARVELOUS mayhem, too bad the controllers felt really clunky. It could be a really good platformer after some polishing
Nice graphics and history but i found the text writing sound to be really annoying after 2 minutes, maybe a way to skio the text writing animation? Good job overall
BY THE GODS...YES
This is why i love Jams, where else would we see a tax return game? Based on Fantasy?
It's really really complex and i'm amazed you've pulled it off in two days. 5/5 in inovation for sure.

- Confunsing but interesting gameplay concept.
- Quite glitchy :( i got stuck in every tower on stage 2
Really cool game! I enjoyed playing it a lot :) being the devil was too fun for me. Cool graphics and timing. Good job!
It's a really funny entry :) It gets really easy to dodge the hunters after you understand how they work. and i love how they explode into glitter HAHHAHA
Great little interactive story :) Deserves more visibility !
The stage generation sound is EARGASMIC. Cool game but quite hard
Good graphics.Got a bit repetitive really quick but i like the concept. Good job
I like the minimalism of it but I can't defeat the ship even in babymode :(
Funny graphics haha Like the game in overall
I think i've mastered the art of the "Australian Tank-Throwing Reverse Poop Shot".
Taking what the internet says about the land down under, such specimen might be roaming the outbacks somewhere.
Really fun! It takes a while to get challenging and sometimes it's really hard to differentiate foreground from background, but I really like it!
Great concept and development! Loved the graphics too. Really cool entry, good job!
Wasnt expecting to have so much fun haha not reallt innovative but cool game still
Fun arcade title! But good lords my eyes hurt after so many camera shakes.
Looks really good! and plays nice. It gets really easier as you loose body parts, and the targets are really hard to spot after the bloodbath. Good entry overall :)
Great visuals, but i just jumped around and reached the end of it D: fighting is kinda awkward
IMHO, it would be better if you took off the combat, made the oponents harder and turned it into a "bullet hell escape" or something like that.
Really cool! Sweet gameplay goodness here.
I would recommend playing while listening to this:
