This was fun, I enjoyed playing it
It was a cute game, very well done (minus the bug where if you hit space before you get to the bed, then get under the bed, it'll end the game
The controls were a bit difficult to master, but it was interesting
The hitboxes were really weird, but otherwise it was a fun game
I enjoyed hugging all the little humans until I found my lover, it was fun
Holy cow, this is awesome. I love text adventures!
Wehk. Wehk. Wehk.
The game crashed when I killed all but the last one when she entered the bathroom. it took a bit to figure out what to, but afterwords it was fun raining my ducky doom sauce on my victims.
I... wow. Very good job, I wasn't expecting the ending at all.
I really liked it. I kinda wish there was a restart button, but overall I enjoyed it
Yea, it looks like the game is broken now :(
I couldn't get the game to download from google drive, so I couldn't play it. It looks like fun though
The game didn't feel responsive to me. I felt like I was robbed of a lot of points to furiously clicking to try and eat the people and cars. And the lack of a chomp sound made me sad
this game was interesting. I think you did very well this time around, but maybe try to cut back and do one thing well instead of the minigames. I honestly would of liked if the pig slaughter minigame was the game, and you had to kill the pigs and the farmers before they killed you.
I downloaded the game and tried to play it, but I only got a blank screen.
It's... inventive.
This was fun to play, especially against myself and my wife. But I agree that the arrow keys would of been a better selection for player 2
I really enjoyed this game. The controls were a little to forgiving, though, but otherwise I got 210 points!
The art style is really cool, but there wasn't a lot to do. otherwise really solid!
The game actually works decently with WINE, so unless you want to run from source, you can use that. The sounds are a little weird, and it feels like your running around an ice rink, but it's a nice concept
This game was super cute!
There's dark, and then there is this. I... just... no.
Really retro, but the gravity and jumping make the game overly hard, i think.
The ending was really well done!
The art is really cool. But that lifeless stare... it looks into your soul...
Try playing the game without walking off screen.
And yea, I was really unprepared for this. I planned a menu and music and sound, but I had so scrap it during the last hours to get this game in on time. The sources for some of it is still around on the github if you want to look.
I'm going to create an open sourced library for the next one (in December I believe) with things I learned doing this game (the Alphabit-map was fun to figure out)
The girl was suppost to point the direction, but, again, time constraints. I might actually fix up the game and create a post-LD version after the judging since this has gotten a lot of (what I assume are) decent reviews
@Chikun Yea, I'm not happy with how the dialog was done, and every time I tried to change it, it broke other parts of the code (yay duct tape!) Same with the mother, she /is/ an entity in the game, but doesn't work 80% of the time due to some weird bug that broke other parts of the code when I tried to fix it.
The controls are really weird and feel really laggy. I loved the art and the direction, but the controls just broke it for me.
I really liked this entry! Not too hard, but not easy, and the weapons were awesome
this was hard, yo. and really trippy. I really couldn't look at it for long periods of times with the spinning and such, but interesting take
