I didn't understand... There is nothing to do at the moment ?

mventurelli 2015-08-24 11:54

I was uploading the game... it should be up now =)

mventurelli 2015-08-24 12:05

Oops I uploaded the wrong build :o

Sleep deprivation taking its toll

mrpiglet 2015-08-24 12:12

An interesting thing. All the placeholder text (I assume it was placeholder text) gave it all a kind of strange poetry vibe that felt appropriate.

mventurelli 2015-08-24 13:31

No man, you played the old build! Hahaha

The correct build is up now

acsantana 2015-08-25 03:24

I came here for some SOCIAL EXPERIMENT!!
Social freaking experiment!?!?!? WHAAAAT?

gty 2015-08-25 15:23

<3

zenmumbler 2015-08-25 15:40

So, it's the prisoner's dilemma with LD people. Interestingly, the stories of the characters themselves don't really play a role in the ending beyond me choosing someone to decide for.

Nice art style and story setup.

brant 2015-08-25 18:09

THIS IS TOO EXCELENT! SENSATIONAL!

riadelva 2015-08-25 18:58

This is so cool! I love the idea and the graphics. The story is interesting too. I can't wait to see how everyone decides at the end :D

drzanuff 2015-08-25 19:30

I am eager to see the results. I hope Leon survives! You guys are a legend here in Brasilia! Hope you continue the good job you have been doing!

mventurelli 2015-08-25 20:33

Thanks DrZanuff <3

amdowell 2015-08-25 21:00

Very excellent work, I'm actually curious about the fate of the characters.

loubyrd 2015-08-25 21:05

Interesting concept.. this psichological approach.
Regarding the game, I just got wandering if being presented with a single option once or twice was the result of this interconnected logic or a design choice. Appealing graphics.

baykush_figtree 2015-08-25 21:45

HOE
LEE
SHEET.

I would comment how great the game is in every aspect but i'm TOO CURIOUS TO KNOW THE ENDING.

conormn 2015-08-25 23:03

Very cool idea. Loved the art, well done :)

baykush_figtree 2015-08-25 23:41

:)

mventurelli 2015-08-26 01:26

Wow thanks :D

jphelps 2015-08-26 02:26

kinda weird. the intro took forever

glimaleite 2015-08-26 02:29

Loved the art style. I wish I could see the results when I ended, even if they were partial only. Still, very innovative and intriguing idea! Parabéns para a galera da Indie House BSB!

steboots 2015-08-26 02:41

I assume I'm only halfway done with the game, but I had to start my comment now, I'm in true suspense, the purpose of a game is immersion and I'm completely captivated...

Noooo... I have to wait??? Great game, spectacular work.

mventurelli 2015-08-26 02:45

The wait will be worth it! Not even WE know what's going to happen, and we'll create a whole new scene to tell the story that we all will decide together!

mikhail 2015-08-26 03:03

Interesting game

disperse 2015-08-26 03:05

So it will be decided by popular vote? So that 51% choosing the selfish action for Leon will create a personal shield for him?

onlyslightly 2015-08-26 03:05

Beautiful game! I was very impressed by all the subtle aesthetic details you chose to give it a unique look. Really innovative idea, and it made me care much more about my decisions knowing it would have an effect on others. The audio of the white noise and wind blowing and such helped get me into the world. All around great game!

mventurelli 2015-08-26 03:05

Yes, disperse.

twoscoopgames 2015-08-26 03:06

Very well done, I'm excited to see what happens next!

moist 2015-08-26 03:09

The writing is great and the mood is absolutely phenomenal. I liked it a lot.

corupta 2015-08-26 03:14

Made my choice in the end. Waiting for the results. Interesting story. Interesting idea to make a multiplater virtual novel. I'm not sure how this fits the theme tho. There wasn't any music/sound right?

bowlercaptain 2015-08-26 03:19

Grand. Production values out of this world by Jam standards. Did feel a little cooped up in the one background for all of the middle-period dialogue, but definitely felt involved.

I was sorely grieving the lack of a "pay attention to the damn engineer like someone who isn't a total idiot" option anywhere besides perhaps the end, but I have that gripe with many a tragic tale. I'm excited to hear how it turns out.

benmcnelly 2015-08-26 03:22

Nice work. And yeah, I made the right choice.

mventurelli 2015-08-26 03:22

corupta, music and sound play a HUGE role in the game. Maybe it was your browser?

31eee384 2015-08-26 03:23

Wow, cool art, music, and story. I felt like the game wasn't very responsive to my clicks sometimes, but maybe that's just Unity. I also don't quite understand how the ending works... why is it that one person saving themselves kills the others? And who would want to do that? The characters have their differences, but it doesn't seem to me like they would kill each other. I really liked the story, it just felt like the ending didn't quite fit.

taleengineer 2015-08-26 03:40

A very interesting idea, although I don't see how this has anything to do with the theme.

I have to admit, though, I am very interesting to see where this story is going and NEED to know how it ends.

(Surely everyone voted to trust each other, right? Right?)

the-fifth-apartment 2015-08-26 04:41

Congratulations! Excellent visual and mood. <3
Very nice. =D

vividhelix 2015-08-26 04:45

Ok, great idea but not a great move to keep us hanging. Still, very interesting.

daydreamcorgigames 2015-08-26 08:48

Wow, this game is so polished. Nice one!

I am not sure about the ending, but my decisions unnecessarily make me feel like a monster since my intention is to get everyone to survive. It would be more interesting if my decision is to choose one of the two to save (grey choices). Right now, it is a choice of saving myself or risk for the whole team (obvious good vs bad). Or am I missing something?

Nonetheless, a very well done game! Good job!

glerikud 2015-08-26 10:49

Very interesting idea placing the final choice in the hands of the LD community. Can't wait to see what comes out of it. (Go Harriet, the rebel who will chose to save everyone, because her concience gets the better of her... I hope)

In any case, nice story, good characters and writing. I would have liked to see some more backgrounds maybe, but the ones that were there were nice.

chrismcmath 2015-08-26 13:20

Fantastic idea, and a testament to your abilities to get all this together over such a short period of time.

My decision is in and I await the results!

danoliveira 2015-08-26 14:30

I'm so happy with all these comments!
And yes, guys, the game does follow the theme... It's just subtle ;)

Dan Oliveira 2015-08-26 16:34

^ this is me.

shackhal 2015-08-27 01:17

Superb adventure game. Short, but with a depth story. The graphics are great, different from the other games. The music is awesome and helps to make the mood heavy and glommy. And the multiplayer feature keep the mystery until the end.

I can't wait for the answer of the others xD

Overall, it's a very good game. Well done.

felipeberquo 2015-08-27 21:13

These graphics... :9~~~

roaringcatgames 2015-08-28 00:13

I like this a lot. Simple but engaging story. Enough for me to care about at least one character. The ending being "secret" until the end of the jam is also neat. Well done.

guoboism 2015-09-01 08:25

Great concept! I choose the guy and trust others...
I like the idea of interactive story, the way audience and developer interacts...
Overall 5/5!

lukepilgrim 2015-09-01 15:11

great idea, nice art style. there could be a few more animations/sounds to make it a bit more interesting

burgerdare 2015-09-01 16:02

I really like the idea behind the final choice of this game, and I appreciate that it was very carefully explained before asking me to confirm my decision.
Overall, an excellent game. I'm really looking forward to seeing the results.

inateno 2015-09-01 16:10

Can't wait !

larzan 2015-09-02 13:49

Beautiful style, nice take on the adventure mechanic.
Nice music too btw :)

axoona 2015-09-02 18:50

excellent game, this is a really captivating story, very innovative concept and I'm really looking forward to finding out what we all chose! keep it up!

jupiter_hadley 2015-09-12 15:53

Neat graphics, cool story. I included it in part 27 of my Ludum Dare 33 Compilation video series, if you would like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/hHQb1uxX9tA
