Everything about this is stunning, you deserve to win!!! Great job!:)
Great balance, fun mechanic, great job:)
Very nice game:), I will admit I found it very challenging, but thats not a bad thing! Great use of the theme for a very interesting mechanic...Great Job:)
Oh god that's difficult. Really nice:D, Great job:)
I really like the abstract environment art, It feels alien and interesting, the player maybe not so much...
But really nice job:)
There dosn't appear to be any links to play it?
Gorgeous game, very moody, I found one air pocket but was unable to get any farther, really liked the style though:)
BEAT IT!!! Great job, really satisfying main mechanic, really nice audio, and amazing amounts of content:) I will admit it took a minute for me to figure out it was turn based, but thats likely my fault;) I also noticed, that you can die and win on the same move, allowing you to continue, but that dosn't really matter [Really Nice!:)]
Nice visuals and audio, creates a very nice mood:)
Interesting, I was surprised that there was always someone for multiplayer:D, although It seemed some situations were unwinnable for one of the players... but nice job:)
Pretty fun:) Neat to play with other players, I also like (took me a while to notice) the dead ships on the ocean floor...
Great job:)
Great game, never fully understood the mechanic, but I did beat it (probably would have paid more attention if I wasn't so lulled away by the great music) but ever without fully grasping it, its very relaxing to just play around with:) Great job!:)
Nice job:), loved the art and music:)
Love the simple design style and animation, gorgeous and quite addicting, great job!:) (ps. those text animations are great):)
Nice game:), I really like the art(: Gameplay is interesting, quite complex for a jam game:)
Slick art, and animation, solid platforming, and good writing, reminded me of thomas was alone, loved it, great job!!:)
Very nice graphics, I feel the walkcycle could be more fleshed out, but I'm sure that was time constraints:) also maybe a more drastic color difference between walkable and non-walkable (then again my monitors brightness is low, and that may have contributed), but great job!:)
Great game! very smooth animation, something about that full 360 character really impresses me, fun gameplay to!! great job!
Great game!, very addictive, love the dynamic terrain, feels as if it could be a great fit on mobile devices:)
Strangely brilliant....and depressing....I loved it
God that arts gorgeous:)!! Got to the (sort of) end, really enjoyed it, also great to see how many haxeflixel entries there are this ludum dare:)
Great game! very moody, and a very interesting main mechanic, great job:)
gorgeous character art and animations, and pretty enjoyable gameplay, I found the environment art to be a little stale, but I'm sure that was due to time constraints, anyways, really great job:)
Beat it, first try (well second, but I didn't get it the first time), pretty fun:)
Nice sense of atmosphere, very moody and relaxing, I got 13750
(must have been lucky, wasnt really trying) Great job:)
Nicely done rougelike in a very unusual setting, great music and art, created a very moody atmosphere:) Great Job:)
Seems like it could be very interesting, I didn't fully understand exactly what to do:( but I really liked the character sprites:) and the gameplay did seem interesting, I just wasnt fully in control;)
God this is pretty, crazy hard though;) I got the the cave entrance, that was the best I could do (in 5 tries) Great job though! Ps. I like the flipping effect on the characters:)
Nice art, animation, interesting gameplay and neat controls, great job:)!
Cool that you put in a leaderboard, it was hard to tell movement, due to staying centered on screen, and the plain background, but nice job:)
Interesting concept, nice job:)
Nice first entry:), pretty fun, maybe a little less screenshake? but great job!:)
Thanks, I'm uploading a windows build as we speak, should have better performance:)
I was worried about that, that was the point of the floating spacebar sign, but I thought it might not be clear. Thanks:) I'm actually pretty happy with the animation for once, glad to see other people agree
Yeah, I found that as well, I'm unsure if its the controls, or the fact the enemy is hidden, maybe I should've made in air turns faster
Thanks:)
Thanks everyone:), I know the jump was floaty, I kind of like the feeling, but I definitely understand why others might not, and checkpoints were intended, just never put in:) shortcutting wasnt really intentional, but maybe it should of been, I'm actually not sure if theres many places you can, although theres lots were you actually go backwards;)
Thanks:), some checkpoints probably would have been a good idea;)
Thanks:), when you say rough, do you mean the in air turning? I feel like I should of at least added a little bit of drag when quickly turning in air...
Thanks:), I'm not very good with sound:(
Thanks:) what would you change about the graphics?
Thank you, you as well! (well not the first time, but you get it):)
Thanks!
Thanks, as for the hitboxes, I'm very new to haxeflixel, and was only using default tilemap collisions, so I also was annoyed by that, but I guess I couldve just allowed horizontal collision
Thanks to both of you:) @shadow64: yeah it couldve used a lot of tweaking, but I was tired, and kinda stressed, so I figured I would be better off to just submit rather than spend hours getting frustrated trying to tweak everything....
Well thanks for the art comments anyway:), I understand its unforgiving, maybe I should do a post compo?
Hmm, maybe its only 64 bit, I'll look into that, also wow...I'd not seen nearly that bad performance, in fact, on mine I don't see a difference at all, thanks for rating it though, even though I understand you were not overly impressed:/
I think I might, just to tweak some stuff and maybe make some more levels, because even though I initially hated level design, it actually got pretty fun by the end, especially once I decided to write a quick and dirty parser for tiled, allowing me to move the player and enemies without hard-coding it, and yet still use standard flixel map handling:)
Thanks, seems to be the general consensus on the controls;),
@Zccc there only is one level:O
Thanks!, checked out your video, looks good:), I see now that everyone dies on the initial enemy, so that was poor design, but glad you liked it:)
Well thanks for that at least:)
Thanks! Glad you liked it:)
Nice graphic style:), but I couldn't figure out how to get past the first level? (hints?)
ah ok did it:)
I thought it might be a timing thing and couldnt figure out how to go fast enough...
Nice:), although going back to the start on dying was annoying, especially since on the third level you fall straight onto spikes...But great job, I enjoyed it:)
Actually played this for quite a while, theres some really nice UI work here, and I like the kind of sporadic random movements of the robots, also, as the comment above mentions, it is a very cool use of the web format... Great job!!:)
one critique (yes I'm still playing), is that the squirrel robots feel too random, it gets hard to make them explore near the bottom, because they just screw around up top until they die
OMFG I CLICKED AWAY ACCIDENTALLY AFTER GETTING 49 ARTIFACTS!!!! ugg I'm so sad now:( (by far the longest I have ever played a ludum dare game for) wow this is disheartening:/
I was so excited to actually beat it, as I havent seen any comments of wins....
Impressive all over, great job:)
Gorgeous art and animation, and interesting dialog:), Great Job:)
Interesting mechanic, nice job:)
Nice job, fellow first timer:) Pretty fun, although I couldnt get past the level with the spikes on the top and bottom, and three on the right...But I enjoyed it untill then:), also maybe the boost should be in combination with direction keys, it feels odd to jump up and shoot backwards. But really fun!:)
(also thats a pretty slick title screen:D)
I think thats all, this is the second time I've typed this (internet crapped out the first time....)
Nice job!
This game just feels right...I have nothing more to say.
Interesting mechanic, and really cool visuals:) is it procedural?
Max innovation marks....never...ever...expected this;)
Interesting game, pretty fun:), although I wonder if maybe the last layer should be something other than black, but nice job:)
Gorgeous game, I wasnt entirly sure of what to do, some menu buttons didn't seem to have an effect, and eventually I managed to get every any stuck in one hole and spinning around crazily, but I'm pretty sure thats my fault. The art amazes me, looks like you put months into it:) the music is great too:) GREAT JOB!!:D
Fun game:), Nice mechanic, and great level design. your art was nice too, but it was blurred a bit in both chrome and firefox, not crisply scaled, I also noticed there are walls with slight ridges which allow you to stick on them (was it not actually tile based?) anyway great job:)
Strangely fun:D I had no idea what to do, so I just drove around, listening to the beautiful soundtrack;) reminds me in a weird way of carmageddon :) good job!
Nice game:), I liked the audio, and there were some pretty funny descriptions;), good job:)
Interesting puzzle mechanic, very difficult... also great audio, very moody:)
:O thanks for making me feel bad:(....no, seriously, great game, great art, great audio....great job:)
Great job:)
Gorgeous cutscene art, and interesting gameplay:) (was it felt markers and watercolor?, thats what it looked like to me:))
Nice job! I really like the tree sprites, and the limited colour palette, it comes across really nicely:)
Looks beautiful, wish I was on linux:(
gotta say I love the splatter effects;), nice job:)
Great game:), works great with a controller too:), Quite fun actually, I ended up getting swamped by at least 15 of the floating skull enemies XD Great job! my only (personal preference) issue is that I (personally) would rather not have up on the joystick do anything, I know A is already jump, so I think it would be better on its own, but thats no detriment to the game:)
