It's really laggy on my computer to the point where it's unplayable. It might just be me though...?

sanojian 2015-04-20 08:38

Pretty clever. Very smooth. Sound would have been a big improvement.

The initial screen loaded, but nothing happened when I clicked start. I assumed some assets were loading in the background, but even after waiting a while I didn't get anywhere. For reference, I was using Safari.

Thanks for playing my game :)

@bace1000: I am sorry to hear that :( I kept an eye on the framerate and got 60FPS on a moderate PC. You need a modern browser which supports hardware-rendering for WebGL though.

@sanojian: Thanks for the feedback :) I agree with the Sound, it was the next thing on my to do list when I ran out of time.

@TD5: That is most likely a browser issue. Could you try it with Google Chrome or Firefox? WebGL needs to be enabled.

It works fine for me (FireFox 37). Movements are very smooth with some cool FX. It can be improved by a music and other features. Neat. Thank you ++

I made a let's play of your game:
https://youtu.be/Blvjcn6lXhs

short, but fun!

jajo 2015-04-26 10:45

I found this very fun. It helped me realise how bad at puzzles I am :D

Shame there was no sound. Liked the simple graphics and a nice idea. I guess the weapons were sorta unconventional.

Cool game mechanic! Wish the game was longer!

goerp 2015-04-26 10:53

Nice game.
Graphics look good and played pretty smooth for me.

I found the controls actually pretty hard. You have to walk with WASD or CURSOR and press SPACE with the same hand, because you use mouse with your other hand. I really couldn't get the weapon on the place I wanted it to be placed.
I later watched the lets play video and saw that I had the right idea.
Also I didn't know you could retrieve your weapons.

I think this is an idea you can expand upon. Maybe some more levels and later on you get less hints, so that you can place the weapons anywhere and you have to figure out what the right place is?

And then add some music and sounds?

We liked the atmosphere and the enjoyed the basic puzzle - wanted to play more levels.

Shame no sound which might have taken the atmos even further.

Good concept. Too short though.

robert_steiner 2015-04-26 11:51

Nice idea, there's place for being a little more tricky though.

orangespikygames 2015-04-26 17:35

Kind of a fun idea, but the puzzles(?) were really straight forward.

androniq 2015-04-27 21:59

I really enjoyed that. Nice simple and original idea. Some more levels would be great.

mrodrigues 2015-05-04 18:09

It looks awesome, but it's so laggy in my computer that when I jump the player falls through the floor. :(

voider 2015-05-05 20:27

Nice little game. I give you points because you did it with three.js instead of unity, that's awesome!. nice idea of put and take of shooters, cool game!. I was expecting something else at the end :)

ladyemaskye 2015-05-09 22:28

It's pretty laggy on my PC. I would just chalk that up to my computer, but reading the other comments I see I'm not the only one. Too bad.

thomastc 2015-05-11 18:58

Nice one! Reminds me of a certain Valve game. Smooth controls; too bad it's so short. The crosshair could have been a bit bigger/clearer.
