Some really cool concepts, but I got frustrated with trying to get up to the 2nd level, getting caught in the stairs in between dimensions or falling through the floor and then restarting all the way back to the beginning of the tutorial.

Overall, interesting mechanics, but the graphics could use some work and it could use a bit more polish. I think a more refined version of this after the competition could be really cool!

Pretty nice game! I just didnt like it that you get teleported to the start

I thought I was going to get sweet vengeance for my ruined handbag?! Nice game, that was fun.

shivafang 2014-08-26 02:17

@Scott Baker - planned for full story game :D Wished we had more time.

I love the camera function!!! Next time maybe you should spend a bit more time on the graphics, though :)

honcho 2014-08-26 10:11

Good use of theme.

Interesting mechanics but the two feel like they've been awkwardly patched together rather than smoothly complementing each other. I like the direction you went with the social media and teenage drama stuff though.

This game was really girly, but still well thought out!

memoryleek 2014-08-26 15:20

Quite fun, I like the mechanics, especially the camera function.
With some more polish, especially improving the graphics, this would have been awesome.
Some walking sections could also have been shortened imo and adding music and sfx would have done a lot to improve the feeling.

Nice concept esp. the camera part!

androniq 2014-08-27 15:57

I liked the camera, although it's a bit tricky to do at first using a trackpad.

shivafang 2014-08-27 17:23

@ElectricSeagull - Didn't have a track pad in mind when we designed the feature. Will think about it when we work on the complete version.

Cool concept, I did not know there was an app for that ;)
Some more work on the controls would have paid off I think, still, I enjoyed it. Thanks for your work!

Cool use of the theme. The tutorial was a bit frustrating since I had to start from the beginning every time I died, and I was forced to read a lot of the text quickly because it could only be seen in the astral plane. It would be nice to see this expanded on / polished more because it's a really neat concept. Some sound and music would definitely help, too. Great work!

Extra points for the camera idea!

mcapraro 2014-09-06 16:10

interesting concept for sure

eemmbbeerr 2014-09-15 17:11

Nice idea, needs more work with the graphics. I played on a qwertz keyboard and the z key fell really far from the rest of the controls :)
Thanks for the Linux build!
