I want more! Good job!
Fascinating game! I really like all the little random bits of narrative which comes with each island; bringing a madman on board as part of my crew, trying to steal goods from a native tribe and fighting off pirates. I also like how you gave the crew members names, it did well in giving me a sense of responsibility over them. At one point (I thought you could restock food if you bumped into the starting castle) I experience the dilema of, "Should I explore more and maximise my riches or should I return to the castle to get more food for my crew?". Quite entertaining. One thing though, the game solely luck based and not much to do with strategy or the skill of the player.
Pretty cool concept. I loved the mineral design reminded me of starcraft which im a big fan of :)

I enjoyed playing your game, it had a unique mechanic that controlled the land. Btw I wasn't quite sure why hitting a bird would cause the game to end ahaha.
I like the concept of the game, having to manage two different mechanics. Theres a nice strategic element to the game which I also had a lot of fun with. Good Job
Had quite a bit of fun sending letters to the wrong people and seeing what their reaction is haha. Interesting ending; I have the feeling it would have been very different had I choose to do my job right. Graphics and audio were all quite polished. Good job!
At first I was a bit confused at the controls as the I and L didn't do anything. It took a while to get that you could smack the mouth open. After discovering that, there was a nice progression. I enjoyed discovering each of the rooms and finding out what was luring behind each doorway. Overall I like the game especially the character.
I really like the coop system. It was interesting I really enjoyed it. If you could make it a bigger scale then i reckon you might have yourself a really awesome game!
The graphics and audio work well. Overall looking and sounding polished. The zooming in for the planets is especially impressive (although not useful for gameplay). Nice touch on the voice prompt.
Gameplay wise, it seems like an interesting take on the tower defence concept, with a twist on resource management (powering worlds/satellites) and tower placement. The gameplay suffers from a lack of a goal or end game though.
I really liked how the instrument changed when changing characters. I wasn't too certain about the character changing. Also the mage didn't seem to be that helpful.
Wow, that was spooky. I had my earhpones in and volume to max the first time i encountered the shadows gave me the chills! I'm not a big fan of horror games but this was fun!
I find the graphics and audio to be the strongest factor in your entry. Solid looking objects and the scrolling background makes it that much more polished. The gameplay is slightly lacking though, the speed at which your car changes lane feels too slow for a game so dependant on quickly changing lanes. Also the theme is a bit too abstract for it to stand out. The only hint of the theme I got was from your description of the game.
The natural controls, along with the artistic visuals and simple goal of discovering, made this game enthralling--and something you experience as you play. The ending was wonderful
That was really interesting. Although i found the explanation from the tutorial a bit too heavy. You should make it more simple and take a step by step tutorial approach so that it doesn't overwhelm people. Maybe like make the tutorial integrated with each level. Anyhow I enjoyed the game ! nice job
Loving the visual effects, interesting idea of rotating and moving blocks.
I find the graphics to be the greatest strength of this game. The backgrounds are beautiful and varied. Also nice touch on the falling leaves. The bgm did a good job in creating some mood. I especially like how the music changed when entering the imaginary world.
The gameplay needs balancing. I'm sure you already know about the lava level from the cheat version you posted up. With the lava falling randomly it really puts way too much onto luck. This is especially so when the player is forced to the upper end of the screen, making it impossible to dodge any falling lava. Perhaps fixing the falling pattern of the lava would shift the emphasis back to the skill of the player a bit more. It's almost impossible to dodge in the shooting robots level because of how large the player is . But once you survive the first wave, just shooting blindly forward did the trick. The dragon level is alright. I didn't have to move at all though, I just stood there and kept blocking until the dragon died.
Overall, great job on the aesthetics of the game but the design might need a bit more work.
That was fun, I liked the simple learning curve. This game would work nicely on the app market.

wow. That was truly an interesting experience. The subtle movements of the character and the subtitles that was synced with your narration worked perfectly to create a distinctive atmosphere which touched my heart. Game play wise it didn't have much but that made it a more rich full experience, it let me focus more on the story aspect.
I like it. Its simple and addicting. This game would work well on touch devices such as ipad apps :)
Not sure how the game works. I didn't quite understand your how to play instructions. I understood that you had to build towers to defend the pipes on the bottom of the screen but I didn't know what the domes did, I had no idea what was destroying my towers and what all the different enemies did. The only way I knew how to build towers was by dragging and dropping so it took me awhile to build especially when the tower icons are located on the top right of the screen. Rather interesting story though, with the hot and cold worlds supporting each other to survive.

Nice game mechanics, although i found the tutorial level quite hard to complete. A lot of the mechanics weren't introduced well and there was a lot of trail and error.
Pretty cool game, animations of fighting is smooth. I like the skill mechanics and how simple it is. Good job Loving the graphics however the hand doesn't seem to fit the style
I like the graphics and the audio, it's quite polished as it is. The gameplay is needs some balancing, but I enjoy the frantic scrambling to the next portal while trying to face enemies, problem is the low life count making it too brutal.

Nice job on the hub room, i really liked the way you lighted the room up, it created a nice atmosphere. The game would have been nice you maintained that throughout the whole game. Overall nice job for a 48 hour jam!
Good job on your first entry! Here are some feedback on what you could have done better, a quick and easy fix would be making a more intuitive control scheme. The current control scheme requires you to use only one hand, making it hard to grapple and move at the same time as well as shoot enemies. Try spreading out the controls so that movement is done with your left hand and abilities of the ship to be controlled by your right. Overall nice first entry, I hope to see you at the next ludum dare 31!
I got two errors which crashed the game, both Unable to find file. One "Audio/SE/Collapse4" for when I beat the king and the other "Graphics/Characters/!Hexagram" whenever I died. I was using the dropbox folder link, I just downloaded the whole folder as a .zip and extracted.
Interesting take on a Souls game. I don't think it's very accessible to players who never played a Souls game before though. Not much innovation here but it was a tried and true fun formula nontheless. Graphics and audio were polished. Good job!
Not sure if it's a bug or I'm just playing the game wrongly, but my moon can't seem to press the second red button in the game, the one just after the two moving lifts.
Wow. I love the start comic cutscene, it really caught my attention to the game. The visuals were really well done. I loved the mechanic of being able to possess someone and obtain their ability. Nice job
Interesting mechanics but the two feel like they've been awkwardly patched together rather than smoothly complementing each other. I like the direction you went with the social media and teenage drama stuff though.

@ninjascript Which strategies did you end up with? I find a combination of an even square shape and a longer shape to be the best, depending on the placement of your people! But executing it is always way harder.

Loved the way you used simplistic colours. The game reminded me of a more relaxed version of the gravity guy.
The game had an interesting atmosphere to it, at first glance i thought it was a game about time travel. It was interesting, however i felt that the movement was abit clunky especially the jump mechanic. Overall I enjoyed it even though I ran into the never dieing pit of doom on the first run :)
I like the story and theme you guys came up with for this game. The art all around is great too! I especially like the main menu art, very nice. I think the gameplay, however, suffers from the lack of a goal (nice try with the "never ending struggle" haha). A lot of potential here for some fun stealth mechanics.

The maze also seem too luck and trial an error based, so it's not rewarded when you find your way and it's frustrating when you get lost. Having to tap the arrow keys to move 1 space got tedious quickly.

Well done, I love the character! especially when you start button bashing his the left and right punch, its so satisfying. Really polished for a 72 hour game.
Objectives of the game was bit confusing at the start. However I did end up playing for quite a bit and ended up completing most of the levels :D. Overall I enjoyed it and I would recommend you move this to the app market, I think it would go well with touch input and especially with the level progression system. Good Luck!
Interesting mechanics and well presented to the player. I would have liked to see what you could have done with all 3 jump, reverse jump and drop actions in play together though. Lots of potential there. I'm not sure why you need a gate for the player to activate the knights, assigning that to a key press would have made it less tedious to retry puzzles. Art-wise I like the wavy effect you got going on for the dream world. Animations would have added some nice polish though.
Cool game! There was definitely a slight zen feeling there while I stared at these colorful ringed dark circles. Interesting thing, up until level 5 I just recklessly fused circles together thinking there was no losing condition but I soon found myself trapped haha. Miraculously I managed to finish the level and I found myself approaching level 6 with a much more strategic approach (I tried to focus on one color and keep that color in the middle while leaving the rest at the sides). Unfortunately I lost at level 6 but the change of dynamics was a nice surprise.
intense atmosphere gave me the chills! gameplay: controlling the character was a bit of a hassle. since they would only move when you click on a certain object. Apart from that the gameplay was good :) good entry!

wow awesome entry, this is almost as good as the games made by vlambeer! I really loved the screen shakes and the different kind of weapons. Minigun being my favourite. On a side note you should consider changing the level design because if you stick to one of the corners with a minigun its almost impossible to lose the game. Overall great entry its a shame you didnt put music in your marking criteria, the soundtrack was great :)

Mr. Bushido is a game that has gained my liking. The mechanics are interesting having to scroll around each level to obtain the necessary tools to complete the next, although the tutorial was hard to understand. Also I love the character Mr. Bushido, its a shame that he didnt have a running animation, apart from that art style overall is stunning. Brilliant game!

Sweet game, I was able to get 200+seconds, you should increase the difficulty as the seconds tick by. I found it a bit too easy, as you would most of the time stand still until a bomb was near you.
Also a little bug I found, when you get over 100 seconds it represents it as 10. This goes the same with 200.

Love the artwork! especially the grandma. Gameplay was good but there could be improvements, my recommendations would be improve the level progression system(I found that the game was a fair too easy for a long time), a score counter of how many yellow goo that has been obtained, and interesting enemies that have different path systems. Overall nice entry!
Interesting atmosphere, totally did not expect it to be a creepy game ahaha. I thought i was going to get more of the pony happy vibe : ). Gameplay wise i enjoyed the mysterious element of trying to proceed further however i was stuck at one point with the red screen with the continuous beeping, im not sure if that was meant to be the end or if there was more things to solve beyond. hectic game. swotch is simple addictive and fun, but eye hurting after awhile ahaha. i was playing it at night with my lights turned off and i thought i was gonna give me seizure, but i kept playing because it was so fun ahaha great entry!, i'd like to see more content added to this game!

Awesome, i really love the concept of the game. The first version of the game the mechanics were a bit hard because you had to get right near the spider to kill it. It was a very tricky task to achieve. However i see that you've made vast improvements in your newer version. The mechanics are much better! and the game is much more enjoyable ahaha I wasn't able to go far but I sure did have a blast with this entry nice game!

overall idea was great however there were some design flaws like how the camera wasn't following the player instead it was following the ball making it hard to navigate through the vast field. I see why you implemented a "over here" button, without that it would have been hard to navigate once you used the teleport function! Overall sweet game, clever implementation of the theme, and overall interesting gameplay. great entry!

Awesome visuals, and game concept. I liked the brawler theme however the combat was a bit dull, there wasn't any combo system nor any more moves apart from the lightsaber and kicking. However on the brightside this game has potential with a bit more polish on the mechanics, the visuals are stunning good entry!
