LD31 — Entire Game on One Screen

Hard Winter by Taldius 2014-12-09T22:10:00

Quite interesting game. The mechanincs are interesting. However I am a bit torn about the interpretation of the theme. On the one hand it's a great idea with the magnifying glass, on the other hand it means that there is a part of the game that is not on the screen.
But all in all a nice game.

Thermonuclear War by panda 2014-12-09T21:40:00

Cool idea. The concept is really awesome. It felt a bit repetitive/trial and error to just go through everything and try every option, since there was no real death penalty. ALthough I can't think of a good one I must admit.
One of the best games I have played so far this LD.

The Broadenlands by Wolve 2014-12-13T13:34:00

Really cool game. I love the take on the theme. And great choice of music.

Village Defender by Wilou1428 2014-12-11T18:13:00

Cool game. Definetly needs a tutorial. Also to me it seemed like if a building was damaged/destroyed seemed more like a it is either at full health the next morning or it is gone. It was a bit unclear to how the defense actually helps or not. But I liked the graphics style. Simple but very good fit to the mood.

Boobs Of War by Monochrome Bears 2014-12-09T02:48:00

Solid gameplay, good graphics, interesting... idea. Nothing more to say ;)

Escape by madalaski 2014-12-13T15:26:00

Nice little arcade game. However I don't think it fits the theme as much, since the game may be on one level, but it feels like there are different screens. But I guess I am being a bit fundamentalistic here ;)
All in all nice little game.

shootAbox by skulioskarsson 2014-12-13T13:38:00

Nice little game. Not too innovative, but for yoour first finished game quite good. Keep up the good work.

A Grimm Journey by HoboMechanistic 2014-12-13T15:44:00

Cool concept. However the controls were really strange. I often seemed unable to attack. A bit more feedback about what the controls do would be great. But the mood is quite great.

RustPunk by AncientAvocado 2014-12-12T19:34:00

Cool game. Gameplay, as dialogs and battle mechanics, are a bit shallow, but the core idea is great. With some more time you could really make this into an amazing game. I am not so sure about how well it fits the theme however. Every part of the game is only on one screen, but to me it seems like there are several screens (dialogs, map, battle) in total.
But apart from that you really should continue your work on this. It might get interesting.

I've Never Seen Snow by hogtrick 2014-12-14T19:24:00

Nice little game. An interesting way to see christmas. For some reason I neither could play nor download the game in firefox. In chrome it worked just fine.

Mikes On Screen Adventure by togie 2014-12-13T15:16:00

Cool game. Nice interpretation of the theme. I couldn't beat the asian kid. Guess I am just not good enough at watching and controlling multiple characters :)

Mind Traveller by Ogniok 2014-12-13T11:44:00

The general idea of the game is quite interesting. However I don't really see the connection to the theme. And what is actually a problem is the difficulty of the game. For an emotional/mood game you need a difficulty that keeps the player from just running through the game while at the same time doesn't slow down the progress of the story. I was stuck in the last room for over 20 minutes. In the end I couldn't remeber much of the mood that was there before because I was frustrated by the unfogivingness of the controls and the level. But of course designing the difficulty for a mood game is one of the hardest things in game design in my opinion, so hats off for what you did. On the performance of your game you should work however. My PC is capable of playing some current AAA games, yet it just shut down after 20 minutes in the last room.

MACHO KNIGHT by hundredhundred 2014-12-13T13:10:00

Nice game. Very fitting music and artstyle.

DisChord by Grindstorm 2014-12-12T20:03:00

Good game. Nice learning curve, great atmosphere with the music and graphics fitting nicely. My only negaitve point is that I think that the use of one level per screen is not as good a use of the theme. But that's probaby just me. Very good entry.

Snowing in the wind by AwesomeNuclearMonkeys 2014-12-11T17:58:00

Quite nice game. A bit too hard for me ;) I got trapped by the evil snowmen way to easy. Cool idea.

Larger Dimension 31 by madahin 2014-12-13T15:32:00

Nice little game. However the difficulty is a bit strange. If you just stay shooting all the time moving from left to right and back again, you have no problem winiing. If however you miss an enemy you get into a real hazard that is bound to kill you.
I liked the reward ;)

Title Screen by regisRquoi 2014-12-13T13:04:00

Cool game. Nice take on the theme. But too hard for me, since I am not too god at managing several things at once ;)

An Adventure Awaits by MT Kinyon 2014-12-13T13:44:00

Can't run the game due to missing MSVCP100D.dll. Maybe you need to compile it in adifferent way?

MeteorStrike by D.B.O.NStudios 2014-12-13T16:39:00

Interesting game. Some sound effects would be nice. Concerning the installer: using Unity, just create a build an put the .exe and the Data-folder in a zip.
Way to go for a first LD game. Keep it up.

Road to Heaven by frenzyasii 2014-12-09T02:01:00

Quite nice. You definetly feel that the game is incomplete, for example the difficulty of the waves grows too rapidly in my opninion. But considering that it's a game jam I think it is quite good. I must say I really liked the visual style of the game.

Mobster Massacre by Shpuld 2014-12-09T02:24:00

Solid game. Quite a unique way to play. Gameplay could have a bit more variety. All in all well done.

Smash the Rebels! by michel94 2014-12-14T19:34:00

Nice idea. I was a bit confused however that clicking also seemed to damage my farm, if visible. Or the peaseant had quite a large range.Very hard game. But that's not a bad thing ;)

MyuJ by Tymer 2014-12-13T12:50:00

Good game, nice and simple. Maybe a bit too unfogiving on mistakes.

It's always there by Mr MadCat 2014-12-13T12:57:00

Thanks for all the Feedback.
@panda: The text probably might be better readable if it came faster. That's true.
@Taldius: Yeah, I guess that's a problem. Maybe it would have been beter if the gameplay had stopped at every room until the player could read the text. Although the best method would prabably be to have all the texts as audio ;)
@regisRquoi: The transition effect is a good idea. I had originally intended to do something like that, but I barely had the time to get the game into this state. Concerning the music, I know it's not great, it was the first time I tried to make music. I'm glad that you still liked how I used it.

Blue Window by TyrusPeace 2014-12-14T19:10:00

Very good game. Now that's an interpretation I haven't seen here so far. Cool mechanincs. Though sometimes the screen in front of me made it hard to see where I was going. But great mood and artstyle.

LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Nightlight by AgentParsec 2015-12-22T14:57:00

Great way to set the mood.
Controls feel a bit slow. This feels a bit contradictory to the feeling of 'I have to rush to the next socket'.
Also the Flashes of lightning are cool for the mood and a nice help, until you figure out that you can just keep standing near the light, wait for the flash and see where the sockets and important objects are. This is a great danger to the mood once a player figures it out.
But all in all a cool entry.

Metal World Chaos by FrederickK 2015-12-22T14:42:00

The concept sounds interesting.
Sadly not much to play though.
I hope you will finish next time. Or maybe try to create a more finished version of this game to learn a bit for the next LD.

Secret of the Little Lamb by bigteddy 2015-12-23T14:11:00

Very cute protagonist.
Also music and sound effects were nicely fitting.
However I found the controls in combination with the collision detection a bit unfair. This would need some finetuning.
But it is a great entry with a nice use of the themes.

Shaman Flower by SaintHeiser 2015-12-22T15:05:00

Great game.
Very fitting artstyle and music.
Not much more to say. ;)

Pete and the Beanstalk by SeriousCreeper 2015-12-18T12:33:00

Really great game.
Smooth controls, fitting graphics and sound.
Not much more to say I guess.
Well done.

Gravity Glide by Tragon 2015-12-15T20:38:00

Great concept.
And very smooth Gameplay. Well done.

Bug Plus Plus by Pat AfterMoon 2015-12-22T17:47:00

Cool game.
The sound effects are just awesome. Some background music would be nice.
Well done.

Growth of the Hive by Wir 2015-12-18T12:48:00

Sadly the game doesn't support my screen resolution. This seems to mess up the text in the tutorial level. I could only read the first half of the sentences. The rest was blocked by the minimap.
So I couldn't really understand how to pay the game.
You might want to add an explanation in your game description.
The graphics are really cool though.

Bean Rider by dusho 2015-12-17T09:28:00

Pretty solid game. Well done.
With some background music and some more sound effects for hitting different obstacles you could improve the mood of the game.

Magic Beans by Pixel Pub 2015-12-22T15:12:00

Interesting idea.
However I didn't understand, when I can affect a branch.
Sometimes a branch would react to me pressing a button and sometimes not.
That was abit confusing.
But it is very relaxing nonetheless ;)

Kitty McBlubberton by MartianGames 2015-12-22T16:24:00

Cute little game.
Very cute protagonist ;)
Some sound effects and music would really help to create a good mood for the game.
But once you reach 250 kg the kitty can eat the cakes without any problem and just get fatter and fatter :)

The beanstalk (and maybe Jack) by Vil 2015-12-17T09:17:00

I hope you can finish it later.
I tried to write my name with the beanstalk, but I failed ^^

Mon Démon et Moi by Spyboy 2015-12-23T11:07:00

Awesome atmosphere. The music and graphics are a perfect match.
The game really gpt me immersed although I didn't really understand what I was doing or why.
But it is a great entry. Probably the game with best mood I have played this LD.

Phaseolus Magicus by Dianouille 2015-12-17T09:42:00

Congratulations on your first compo entry.
It's pretty solid gameplay and great use of the themes.
There is one thing that annoyed me a bit: I can't really look at the beanstalk and the cards at the same time, so I can't appreciate the beauty of it as it grows without fearing to loose a life. It would be really cool if after you failed you could see the growing of your beanstalk like a replay or something. Because it really looks awesome.
Another thing, which is not negative in my opinion but maybe something for you to think about for further games is the ratio of how many times I have to choose right and how many times I have to choose left. Because for like 75% (felt, I didn't create an actual statistic about it ;) ) of the time I could just press left, because it just is so much more likely thet two different cards will come up. Changing this ratio might affect the gameplay heavily, so depending on what you want to achieve you might consider things like this.
All in all a very well done entry.
I hope to see more from you the next LD.

Augmentum by SoulBound 2015-12-22T16:35:00

Pretty cool game.
The jump animation looks a bit weird, but that is only a minor thing.
You can get a score of over 200 by just keeping right pressed and repeatedly pressing up. You don't even have to look at the screen.
But it is still very impressive what you created. Well done.

Authentic Roman History Simulator by kowalski 2015-12-19T11:14:00

Very cool game.
Some music and some more sound effects would be an improvement.
But this is definitely the funniest game I played so far.
There is one minor flaw. The ball got stuck between Asia and Africa two times. That is quite frustrating, when you almost beat the game and then you have to reset everything.

3:LLIS - PROTOCOL : PROTECT PLANTLIFE by LeClaw 2015-12-18T13:06:00

Pretty cool game.
Nice graphics and idea.
However I had two problems while playing the game. First off all nothing happend after I got to 60% growth. I collected all the water that was around and then nothing happend. Maybe I just didn't understand what to do, but watering the plant wasn't effective either.
Secondly I found out that it is possible to fall of the map on the top right corner if you jump there.
But all in all a cool entry.

Plutonium FREE by gokottastudio 2015-12-18T12:29:00

It took me while to figure out what packages I should suck up and which not. You might want to add one lline of description for that. I didn't notice that the screens change what you see, so it wasn't obvious to me.
Also I think the sound effects became a bit annoying after some time. That might also be a point for improvement.
Controls and graphics are great and theme is well met.
All in all a well done entry.

Chomp by Raius 2015-12-23T10:55:00

Cool entry.
It plays pretty well and music and artstyle are a perfect match to the game.

2 Roll by lawendt 2015-12-22T17:39:00

Very cool atmosphere and very creative gameplay.
Well done.

AscenS by SayRafon 2015-12-21T14:49:00

Nice game.
Reminds me of those bullet-hell games, only way more relaxing ;)
However I found it a bit confusing that I couldn't move completely to the left or right although it looked like it from the picture.
But nice entry.

Beanstalks by MinusKelvin 2015-12-15T20:23:00

Great take on the theme.
Very cool puzzles.
The only thing I found a bit annoying was that sometimes I would fail at a puzzle because my character would slide into another item.
But all in all a great entry.

Jack Bean: The Stalkening by BlazzGuy 2015-12-23T18:00:00

Cool soundeffects.
But the sometimes-autojumping is a bit annoying.
Also the background doesn't change anymore after it gets black.
But all in all a nice little game.

Personal Growth by Maniac 2015-12-18T15:01:00

Cool game.
First one so far with some meaning for real life so far :)

Game of Life - Decide and Grow [GERMAN] by decideandgrow 2015-12-18T15:09:00

Cool idea.
It's a pity you couldn't translate it all.
One thing though, the WebGL version seems to be broken. It can't find some files I think.
The windows version works just fine.

Shift & Run by ShiftNRun 2015-12-17T09:11:00

Very innovative concept.
I like the IllegalStateException ;)

White Rose by Kenneth Ng 2015-12-23T13:59:00

Neat idea.
I was missing a bit of a challenge beacause I could just keep beating up the bad guys without ever getting hit.
But all in all a cool entry.

LD35 — Shapeshift

Rayshifting by ponk 2016-04-22T09:53:00

Wow, very cool use of shaders. I really like the game. Very simple but still fun. Would have been cool if there had been some different puzzles, because at the 6th or 7th level, the interest starts to drop of a little bit.
All in all very cool entry in the short amount of time.

Shifting Stronghold by alyphen 2016-04-24T10:54:00

Didn't know that you can also create games with python. ^^ The ground tiles really feel nostalgic, I really like them.
However walking was sometimes a little bit difficult when walking through narrow spaces with the collision detection.

ORIKAMI by Mnemusyne 2016-04-21T22:39:00

Nice polish, really good graphics and sound. Wouldn't have expected a deep message after the game. Good use of the theme, however I would have loved if the theme would contribute a little bit more towards the game play.

Ice Wizard by townsean 2016-05-07T19:49:00

Cool idea.
However controls are pretty difficult.

Altruism by calzep 2016-04-22T19:04:00

Cute game.
I might have some info about the bug where one character starts flying uncontrollably. I think it happens when a character stands on the other character as they transform back to normal form. I guess gravity doen't get reset or whatever mechanic you use for detecting when a player is on the ground. Maybe it helps.

Shapes of Revolution by GuillaumeGwi 2016-04-21T16:15:00

The idea is pretty interesting.
However I couldn't really see much happening. I could just let my guys stand at some spot and nothing would happen except for the cop counter going up.
Maybe you could add some more indicators for showing what is going on.

SandShifter by nesis 2016-04-20T17:42:00

Interesting concept. I think it has some potential. Too bad there was only one real level to play with the mechanics, since the other had more of a tutorial character.
But all in all well done.

UPSHIFT by Jessica Hayley 2016-04-24T22:27:00

Really like it that someone did a rhythm game. Great soundtrack. :)

Shapeshift Poni o Sutoku by Pirat 2016-04-19T15:14:00

Yeah, I don't really have an idea what to do either. I'm just stuck at the first screen.
Maybe you could add the controls for the game to the description.
Quite a pity. I really like your idea.

Laser Town by Hectigo 2016-04-22T22:03:00

Wow quite challenging puzzle game. At first I thought hmm pretty easy, but with increasing level count it suddenly became harder. :) I just had sometimes some trouble with rotating the camera.

All in all well done and well polished.

When gums go out by brainstorm 2016-04-21T16:03:00

Cool entry.
As already mentioned by others a better set up of controls and some sound would further improve the game.
Also the switch between levls is a bit sudden, but this is something for a post-compo version ;)

Paper Nova 2 - Shapeshift by Mr MadCat 2016-04-19T16:27:00

@CyberAmbient: glad you are having fun. But yeah, there is no sound in the game. Somehow we completely forgot about that ;)

Paper Nova 2 - Shapeshift by Mr MadCat 2016-04-24T07:02:00

Thanks for all the feedback.

@Nexus64: Yeah, we designed the game with gamepad in mind as input device. Keyboard was only added very late in the process, so we didn't spend much time on figuring out a good input scheme. and the enemies being able to attack you while talking, that is indeed something that should not happen. Points taken. Thank you very much for the input.

Druid of the Catalyst by SchrodingersCult 2016-04-25T17:12:00

Cool idea and well executed.
Regarding the melee-form I was sometimes a bit confused with the attack direction, since my avatar would always look my direction. Sime additional sprites showing him from behind would help with that.

Skeleghost by nuuup 2016-04-25T17:22:00

Cool game.
The ghost really felt superior to the skeleton. Maybe you could add some dangers to the ghost as well to make it more interesting. Maybe wind that blows it away or light or something like that. Maybe that's something for a post-LD version ;)

SUBJECT 26 by MSiddeek 2016-04-24T22:47:00

Wow well done. I really like how the game mechanic was introduced step by step without having any "real" explanation. Also really good atmosphere with all the notes sticking around, giving some inside what could have happened, the sound of each transformation, which supported the anxiety. Good job also on choosing the art style which really fits into the whole setting. I really liked this game.

Paranormal Investigator by kwmx 2016-04-19T08:20:00

Simple idea, but I like the realization.

The Alchemist Oblivion by nlbi21 2016-04-20T17:08:00

Cool game.
Indeed a unique mechanic.
I wasn't really sure of where to go though. Some indicator like an arrow might be a good idea. Or did I just miss it?
Congrats to the good entry.

Little Big Robot by tsedate 2016-04-22T21:39:00

Interesting switch to 3D, however it comes very sudden and I had the feeling that controlling in 3D is quite hard, due to camera reasons. But besides the 3D mode the 2D mode had good polish.

In Wolf's Hide by applejam 2016-04-20T19:44:00

Cool idea and nice artstyle.
Good job.
One thing though. Showing how much action points will be consumed by an action would be helpful.

Wlobbie (Demo) by HeliosStudio 2016-04-22T19:13:00

Well, there is not much to do, but the idea is pretty great.
And the morphing looks pretty funny :)

Morph Escape by Nexus64 2016-04-24T18:54:00

Nice idea.
Some kind of rising speed would be interesting. It doesn't seem to get any harder, which makes it less interesting after you trained a bit and are able to dodge everything.
Also please change the "Web" link under the Downloads and Links section. It is for Web-Builds, not for downloadable files.

Shifting Winds by Kelpow 2016-04-24T19:03:00

Cool idea.
The transformations looked pretty neat.
I think something that would help you estimate where you are in relation to other objects might improve the game. Maybe something like shadows or something like that.

Sleeping Kitty! by DieBackStudios 2016-04-19T17:50:00

So cuuuuute!
But as a lot of other people mentioned the difficulty curve could be better. But it's a game jam, so it's ok in my opinion :)
Showing the symbols/colors in the same order as the keys during gameplay might help a lot.
And just to make it clear: sooooo cuuute! ;)

Geomorpher by teamross 2016-04-22T11:25:00

Wow!
Your difficulty curve is pretty well done. This is something not to common at a LD.
Good job.

Memento Mori by ZeroFaction 2016-04-20T17:38:00

Damn, I died more often than in Dark Souls ;)
But it is really beautiful and a nice tale on the theme.
The jumping actually feels a bit unresponsive, that makes timing the jumps pretty hard.

Oops! My Dear is a Deer by Remdiky 2016-04-19T15:25:00

Cool game.
Very fitting art and music.
Well done.

It got Paul! And now it's coming for US!!! by UnlikelyRogue 2016-04-19T08:39:00

Fun idea. However there seems to be some bug with the line of sight, which leads to frustrating moments. E.g you kill someone in a room, who should be alone and suddenly a person of a other room starts to scream. But still I like the realization of the idea. The music and the sound effects really contribute a lot towards the atmosphere. All in all well done.

Shiftah by GaryS 2016-04-21T22:48:00

Good job on your first entry. You did a really good job on polishing the game.

Shape of Fear by Khaoz_Fang 2016-04-20T18:00:00

I looks really cool, but I couldn't really judge if my actions had any effect. Maybe you could make the effects of your actions a bit more obvious to the player.

Blind Colors! by VeryBadBunny 2016-04-19T17:29:00

Cool game.
And such happy music^^
Very cool entry.

TBFTWORLudum_Dare35 by joemid 2016-04-19T16:24:00

It is really beautiful.
But I must say I didn't quite understand what I was supposed to do.
Also the window is a bit broken (it behaves like a fullscreen window but only takes up part of the screen) and using the rumble feature of a gamepad while having only keyboard controls is a bit confusing.
But yeah, it runs on my computer ;)

LD37 — One room

Escape the Room by akai_0okami 2016-12-24T20:04:00

Would be cool, if there was more content.
But you got ir playable, whith is already something.
Keep it up and hopefully you can get some more done next jam.

Dark room by cushycode 2016-12-15T21:17:00

Interesting idea.
A bit short, but that is okay for a game jam.
It sometimes felt a bit weird how you bump into objects.
But quite an enjoyable hunt.
Here is the cat for you :) ^---^________|

Hikikomori by WarmLemon 2016-12-19T17:50:00

Cool idea.
Using the bed or the door is a bit hard, but overall a nice entry.

Mirror by kamranwali 2016-12-26T09:19:00

Looks very good and has a very disturbing atmosphere.
Well done.

The Nightmare Room by Olowynd 2016-12-19T18:17:00

Pretty cool.
I really liked the idea of moving towarss the nearest light.
And it looks gorgeous.
Keep it up!

Croquettes by VikFx 2016-12-27T12:45:00

The climbing is a bit awkward and the window(?) confused me quite a bit, since I thought it was something to stand on, but it wasn't.
But the idea behind the mechanics wre pretty cool. I really liked the swinging on the fan.
Overall a solid entry.
And here is a cat for you:
^---^______|

Loop of Eternity by Khud0 2016-12-24T20:18:00

Wow, pretty neat.
I really like the side switching. It is quite a refreshing change from other shoot 'em ups.
Well done.

Nightmare Room by CIDeV 2016-12-19T20:23:00

The game looks pretty good, but it left me somewhat confused.
I couldn't really tell if I made progress or not.
Is there an end to the waves of enemies or is it an endless game?
Some kind of indication of progress would improve the game in my opinion.

Cute Reign by kawaiineko 2016-12-15T19:59:00

I didn't expect that ending.
You really got me there.
Well done. Well done.

The Ninth Circle by zeoxo 2016-12-25T11:10:00

Solid gameplay.
The sound effects were a bit annoying over time.
Also the weapon upgrades should be installed as soon as you purchase them. It took me several minutes to figure out that they weren't equipped automatically and I had to manually do this with the mouse.
And the difficulty curve could be a bit mor epolished. As soon as you have all upgrades you pretty much can't loose.
Also the enemies' bullets should be better distinguishable from the player's bulets. Maybe make the player's bullets green or blue or something like that.
But it is stil a good entry. Just some polish that could be done to further improve it.

Neuroleptic by pratess 2016-12-27T14:14:00

Very creepy.
Well done atmosphere.
Interactions are very obscure. It kills the mood a bit, when you are trying to jut do random things to see if something happens at all.
And somehow my guy got stuck walking downwards, which made me unable to do anything.
But overall a very solid entry.

ANN-1E by Pokatashan 2016-12-19T18:36:00

Cool idea and great storytelling.
Overall a very solid entry.

Facing Through Delusion by SirSpite 2016-12-27T13:46:00

For a first entry, this looks pretty appealing (ora ppalling I guess ;) ).
Well done on the graphics and theme.
I am pretty sure you will manage to put something with real gameplay together next jam.

Wub Dub Dodge by Berbecarul 2016-12-20T12:54:00

Pretty good.
Nice fast paced gameplay and the basic mechanics are very interesting.

Portal Hotel by ezolotko 2016-12-26T09:30:00

Mood is pretty good.
Killing the enemies felt a bit awkward though.
Overall a solid entry.

In the Dark Room by Mennalus 2016-12-15T21:09:00

The control scheme is a bit unusual for this kind of game.
Also, you can walk right through the southern wall.
Atmoshpere quite good.
As many others mentioned already, light is pretty great too.
It supports the atmosphere well.

One Gogh by DMinsky 2016-12-15T16:48:00

Very cool entry.
Two minor suggestions for improvement: first, the music doesn't loop. Second, as some other people mentioned already, it is a bit hard sometimes to click the right tile.
Maybe some additional handle for clicking in the middle of a tile or something like that would work.
But these are really only minor complaints. I rellay like those games and you nailed the concept.
Keep it up!

Prof. Hattrick Hatberg and the quest for the One Room by tiffi 2016-12-21T14:18:00

I really liked the hat mechanics.
I was however disappointed that I could not walk through the fog door on the left and face a boss ;)

Me, Myself And The Room by Artylo 2016-12-20T11:12:00

Cool idea.
I actually really like the look of the game.
It has something very unique about it.
And the voice over was pretty good too.
With a bit more "gameplay" (however you want to define that) this could be really amazing.
Keep up the good work!

The Library by Stending 2016-12-22T11:18:00

Wow.
Gorgeous graphics, great music.
Difficulty of the original version is indeed to high.
But even though I am pretty bad at this type of games I enjoyed playing it a lot.
Well done!

Crazy Puzzle Unicorn (CPU) by hnzlmnn 2016-12-19T19:46:00

Cool idea.
Sadly, the levels turned out to be too hard for me pretty quickly.
Still, I like the puzzle mechanics you used.

Dark Room by Sarge3v 2016-12-16T14:34:00

I tried playing it and it looks really awesome,
but after combining glasses and picture, I end up with no idea what to do.
I can't open the inventory, running around doesn't seem to do anything and neither does pressing space.
Any hints so I can finish and rate the game?

Dark Room by Sarge3v 2016-12-19T19:52:00

Dang.
Third time's the charm I guess.
I had tried starting it again, but apparently ran into the same bug twice in a row.
But now it workes. Yay :)
Quite short, but an interesting take on the theme.
And weird story. Which is a plus in my opnion ;).

Cat Lady RPG by Bownly 2016-12-13T13:36:00

It closes for me as well. Right after the second textbox.
Windows 10, 64bit.
Intel graphics chip.
Hope it helps, I really would like to play it.

Cat Lady RPG by Bownly 2016-12-15T19:31:00

Yay, I am finally able to play it.
Very nice game.
198 points. I guess my cat lady senses are pretty well developed ;)
Purrrrrrfect humor ^---^________|

Lust for Gold by ISG 2016-12-27T12:30:00

Pretty solid entry.
Camera was abit awkward, but overall it seamed quite polished.
I really like the music and sound effects.

Santaur's Workshop by tweedle 2016-12-19T18:04:00

Yeah, pretty hard.
But you get an extra point for knowing Chuck Norris Jokes ;)

Together by blaster391 2016-12-16T09:09:00

A very interesting idea.
I had a bit of problem undestanding according to what rules the people would choose the square to move to.
Some clarification on this might help.
But apart from that I enjoyed playing the game and trying to figure out in what order to click the rooms.

Don't Stare At Boobs by gilead 2016-12-22T14:10:00

Well, the boob physics are not entirely convincing I must say.
I would recommend to invest some more time into actual gameplay next time.

Dustinator X9001 by Mr MadCat 2016-12-15T16:52:00

@team_disposable: thank you for comment. It is nice to hear that you enjoyed our game.

Dustinator X9001 by Mr MadCat 2016-12-20T08:35:00

@Louspirit: actually, arrow keys and gamepad work just as well. I just forgot to write it into the description ;)
And the transparent kitties in the library are supposed to be ghosts. We just didn't have the time to show it better. We had plkanned for some sounds for the kitties, but well, time was up.

@everyone: thank you all very much for your comments. They are much appreciated.

Dustinator X9001 by Mr MadCat 2016-12-22T10:50:00

@ZirconCode: Well, you know, those robots don't know physics. They don't know that objects shouldn't clip ;)
@gilead: Yeah, we messed up the restrictions of the tbale's movement. But there should be a restart button when you run out of battery.

RoomLops Cleaning by Dejvo 2016-12-24T12:47:00

Interesting take on the Roomba.
It was quite funny to try and bounce the mice around :)
Keep it up.
And here is something to help with the mice:

The Last Heretics by Captain Awesome 2016-12-20T12:43:00

The intro is awesome.
The mood is also very creepy.
But the game runs so slow, it is almost unplayable.

Alter Void by fafastudio 2016-12-21T14:36:00

Very cool game.
Great atmoshpere. Smooth controls.
Three minor suggestions for improvement:
- make the player aware of the number of uses allowed for each other. Took me several levels to realize thet there were numbers on the abilities.
- in what I guess was the last level, a transition to a victory screen would be cool. For me, it just seemed like the door was not working. I had unlocked it but it wouldn't react to my character. (I played the WebGL Version, maybe its a bug, I don't know.)
- add a button to get back to the menu. (Maybe I just didn't find it, in that case make it more obvious)
But this is simply one of the best games I have played this LD. Great work.

Tales of Sir Salamander by ZirconCode 2016-12-22T11:04:00

Pretty cool.
Cool puzzle design.
And I love the sound effect for the boss.
Concerning gameplay, friction could be a bit better and loss of velocity from jumping a bit less.

Unwelcome by Louspirit 2016-12-20T12:26:00

The idea is cool and emergeny call is funny, but the objective is abit unclear.
I understood that I should do something with the motherboard, but I seem to be unable to use it anywhere.Maybe try to make that a bit clearer to the player.

Bat Cave by schizoid2k 2016-12-22T14:18:00

Cool idea.
The sound effects were a bit too loud compared to the background music in my opinion.
And yeah, you should give the player an earlier heads up concerning the stalactites.
But with some polish, this could be really neat game.

High Ball-Oon by Dagorlad 2016-12-16T14:20:00

Cool entry.
Its impressive what you managed to build in the limited time available.
A bit laggy on my not so high end pc, but that's perfectly fine on a game jam in my opnion.
Keep up the good work.

Roomckey by matiz982 2016-12-19T19:34:00

Solid gameplay, but the interface could use some improvements.
An exit button would be really nice.

Diabolic Toys - Tower Defense by Vairon 2016-12-27T13:37:00

Cool game.
I really like the eyes appearing under the bed when you don't kill some of the toys.
Music is a bit repetitive and the differences between towers not that great I think.
But overall a pretty good entry.
Well done.

Psychiatry by pixlark 2016-12-20T12:32:00

Overall a pretty solid entry.
Well done.

You are insignificant - NES GAME by team_disposable 2016-12-15T17:52:00

Cool idea to make an NES game.
The hit boxes feel a bit strange, but apart from that you have earned my respect by creating a game for such an old and great system.
