The Adventures of Darsh in Offscreenland by mmoustafa 2014-12-12T16:02:00
Really cute, O!
Darsh came to me while I was doing my game but I had to tell him no :(

Really cute, O!
Darsh came to me while I was doing my game but I had to tell him no :(
tricky & well designed puzzles; and a lovely ending :D
there were a couple levels which felt like they couldve been split into 2 levels instead of 1, just because restarting was quite painful, but other than that, a very thoughtfully designed & executed game :D
excellently well polished, dunno how you do that in 48 hours!

a beautiful piece
Amazing art, a fitting music! It's a little bit tricky at first to work out that some bars need to be full (health, productivty) while others need to be empty (hunger, stress) - to begin with i was trying to keep them all full haha!
Great concept though, and really nifty use of the theme
Really nice :D I liked the fact you were rewarded with a power increase after each wave. I was getting bored of the same red and green enemies at one point, but suddenly I was introduced to a more agile quick shooting enemy, right at the time at which I wanted something else - nice timing. Got to the boss and died there :P
Looks like you addressed the things I would've suggested in your postjam version. :)
excellent execution of a simple (but very clever!) idea :D
Thank you all for the feedback so far!
I've uploaded a new build where I've fixed the fish's dash hit detection code, turns out something wasn't working as intended.
Looking forward to play your games :)

Aw thats really sad, qleonetti!
I thought libraries were compiled into the binary..
These are the frameworks you will need to play on Mac:
https://www.libsdl.org/release/SDL2-2.0.3.dmg
http://www.libsdl.org/projects/SDL_mixer/release/SDL2_mixer-2.0.0.dmg
https://www.libsdl.org/projects/SDL_image/release/SDL2_image-2.0.0.dmg
The .framework files in these downloads need to be copied to the /Library/Frameworks/ folder on your Mac. I hope that makes it work...
Really cool, certainly a great mood and really nice audio and graphical polish!
Finding the hammer & smashing the screen and then having the game close on me was certainly interesting :D
I see what you thought with the theme, but it seems like this would fit better under "Entire Game On One Diorama", rather than on one screen. It's pretty cozy tho. :)
Woooah super cool! Would've loved to see more uses for the level linking mechanic - i think there's only 1 yellow ball that actually requires you to link levels :(
