Really nice game. Reminds me of old ball-in-maze puzzle games IRL or on my old phones (back when accelerometers were new and exciting). With some crazier powerups and music I can see it being really REALLY nice!
Nice how you don't have to "restart" at all because your score resets, but there seem to be some issues with scoring (like when you miss a flower and lose a point it only changes your score when you then.. hit another flower?) The flower and stem are nice, but the spider web and player-pixie thing seem a bit out of place. Overall, pretty good!
I got 180! The starting area is really nice, but then as you go up the terrain is more and more bland (and game-ey? Like not real or themed, you know.) I also found it a bit strange that you couldn't "grow" downwards at all - gameplay wise that restriction is fine, I just didn't expect it because there's no logical reason not to be able to grow down? Also had a bit of an issue where I couldn't figure out a restart keyboard shortcut. Overall really good!
@pianoman373 Yeah you're right it's not obvious enough. To deal with that there were plans to add many clouds, and stars, and some little "whoosh-lines" pointing behind your direction of travel so it's more obvious which way you're going. Ran into trouble trying to figure out a good way to do a parallax effect, but hopefully I can add all those things one day!
Nice graphics, great music and sounds. It's not initially obvious what the slowing-down tower does - perhaps because 0.9x speed (I think that's what it starts at) isn't particularly noticeable. Moving the towers around was a nice twist, but a little fiddly. And once you go wrong, at later levels at least, the character in the middle loses health and you lose _really_ quickly. I almost got to level 14!
Really nice! The volume sliders and quick-restart key are immediate +++ points for me. The music is great but gets repetitive pretty quickly (because of dying lots to start with, and then just because it loops). I wasn't sure if the objective was supposed to be to go fast and get as far as possible as fast as possible, or just to get as far as possible (which for me, involved going pretty slow)
