Nice graphics !
Hey team Fumiko, nice job !
Level design reminds me of planescape torment, I don't know why. Didn't find any bugs, except the 64 version crashed explorer, but 32 plays fine. Hope to see a more pushed version of this because it has potential !
Nothing append after I killed the 5 firsts monsters
You need to kill all the great blue spearwielding enemies of each level, after you killed them you have to return to the shrine in the center of the level so the next one can be spawned
Beautiful low-poly graphics. Little weird perspective especially when jumping.
Solid entry, 11/10 graphics.
Wow, guys! Thank you so much for all the feedback!
We uploaded a bugfix version of the linux, mac and windows builds. Mainly because our credits scene wasn't shown because the scene was not linked properly. :D
Also I just added the WebGL build, so feel free to play on this page! The native versions have cloth simulation, though, so check them out as well. :)
best greetings
Played both the WebGl version and the windows version and I like the Windows version better. Especially since the WebGL version doesn't have shadows which makes it hard to see where exactly you are in the space. Best thing about this entry are the graphics! Really like how the levels are switched out. :) Combat is a bit meh. Doesn't really feel responsive because the enemies barely react to your attacks and there are no sounds effects for the attacks. Overall pretty good entry!
Cool looking game!
Some kind of blob shadow (projectors in unity are super handy for that and very cheap) would have helped to figure out where you're stepping, I was falling all the time !
And the last big enemy of the green biome was apparently stuck behind a tower, but I got it in the end !
I love this entry! The world looks gorgeous, and I love how it generates and shapeshifts. Great interpretation of the theme!
Gameplay is seriously lacking, though. It would be nice to have more of an objective! Fighting feels a bit clunky. And since you can't die, theres not much challenge.
good entry, well done!
Stunning artwork D:
Nice graphics...thats all:D
A bit hard to attack, but hey, it is a good game. And it looks like it has a lot of work behind it.
Great esthetics. The collision sometimes is a bit too strict. Easy to get stuck on trees and on the wood stuff. Jumping an the perspective is strange, but at least you don't die when fall off the land. :) Nice entry!
It has cool graphics and animations as well
The procedural generation is very cool, and I liked the idea that the gameworld was shape shifting instead of the player character (the route I think most of us took). The music seemed quiet in the WebGL version, and the MacOSX version is very buggy (music is even quieter, and you can't jump).
You've got an incredible aesthetic going, and I'd look forward to what comes from this post-jam. In this version, it's hard to gauge your position while jumping, and movement can be a bit jerky, but that's all stuff that can be ironed out in the future!
The graphics is quite impressive and the aestetics are very well planned. Maybe the music it's not really in theme with the rest of the game, also the shielded enemies were almost impossible to kill which feels kinda weird.
I really like the core concept but in this type of game I feel like having a death system would work better.
I spent most of the time underneath the world trying to jump back up. Can the camera swivel? Beautiful graphics!
The game looked cool but I felt no challenge whatsoever.
Hi, nice game ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description
Hi,
We'd be happy to be part of your video =)
Heres the entry: http://www.indiexpo.net/de/games/aeons-rest
We are currently making plans for rewriting our scripts to a more organized base and adding some lore and content in the coming months, lets see where we get.
The idea has potential and reminded me a bit of Bastion. I really like the graphics.
Great looking game, loved the look of the world but did have an issue with collision detection at times. The use of the theme was also nicely done with the way the world changed.
