Lovely graphic assets

eri0o 2016-12-12 21:17

Hey! It's not working for me, stuck on title screen in both the embedded and the web link, in Google Chrome!

hores 2016-12-12 21:17

A very warm experience! And features snails, which is absolutely amazing ( ;-) ).

eri0o 2016-12-12 21:23

It worked in Firefox!
First game on the compo that made me giggle! Sweet sweet ending! Very short, but very cool, gave me ideas to explore a snail RPG mechanic where you carry and decorate your own home. Man awesome, and heart warming! :)

avalkyrie 2016-12-12 22:11

Pressing space to start doesn't do anything in Safari or Chrome so I'm stuck at the title screen.

tartlegames 2016-12-13 00:10

I had to run it in firefox as well. Love the art for your characters. good work.

columhiggins 2016-12-13 01:00

A lovely story. This has the makings of the next Gruffalo.

(I could not run in Chrome but it ran in Firefox).

stuffedgravy 2016-12-13 01:01

cute ending and awesome graphics! The end location especially looked really good. Congrats!

dillonea 2016-12-13 01:39

Does not work for me in Chrome, so am unable to provide a score.

emmelineprufrock 2016-12-13 02:16

All the rhyming! and such sweet art! It has the look and feel of a children's book. Very sweet. The final animation sequence was just so great.

intelli-gents 2016-12-13 02:17

OMG Super cute! I loved the story and the art was amazing. There was a jaw drop moment when I realized that they had a home all along. Loved the rhyming scheme. This was great! I might go back to this one :)

batmanasb 2016-12-13 02:20

this game is adorable, although the font could be better

simonhutchinson 2016-12-13 02:28

Great! It's structured just like a children's story, with repetition and evolution in nice balance. If there were voice acting my son would love it!

ballingerballingerandballingers 2016-12-13 07:07

What a charming game! It definitely warmed my heart. Enjoyed the art style a lot.

cyberlight 2016-12-13 07:30

Very heartwarming

roaringcatgames 2016-12-14 16:25

Great story telling and art! It's amazing that all of this was made by one person! Stars everywhere!

PS this game made my eyes leaked.

tompudding 2016-12-14 22:53

Wonderfal entry. Great art, cute animals, and mad rhymes :)

alfadur 2016-12-15 01:00

Great snaily tale! Well written and the graphics are appropriate.

almightytuna 2016-12-15 22:58

Very charming entry, great storybook feel to the whole thing

ambocclusion 2016-12-16 04:48

This game is very important.

jupiter_hadley 2016-12-16 18:39

Very cute game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 37 games, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/5DzNI6J29PY

dynamic-panic-studios 2016-12-16 18:46

Cool storybook feel to it. Great message.

ijzm 2016-12-16 20:40

I'm a huge sucker for these story games, and this was great. I could see it as a children's picture book or something. The art is really adorable and goes well with the story. I love the rhymes and narrative. Totally went "awwww!" at the end. The sound effects were kind of funny, but they helped serve the purpose of the story.

This really reminded me of a childrens book. Great job with the art and story. The end location looks really good.

chatpion 2016-12-16 21:08

It works with Firefox, but tapping space isn't enough : spacebar must be pressed a bit.

themightyteam 2016-12-16 21:18

The game run smoothly in Chromium. Liked the story. A beatiful short tale for kids.

midnightcreators 2016-12-16 21:28

First of all, maybe I need sorry for my bad english XD
No music? :'( But nice animal voices anyway.
The art is lovely :) Just need some polishment on the pixels but the colors are harmonic.
Lovely story tho :)
Gj!

weeping-rupee 2016-12-16 21:45

Charming!

Also I learned something today: a wombat looks more like a tiny bear or ground hog than it does a bat.

Seriously though I played this with my 2 year old and she absolutely loved it so thanks for that.

Great use of the theme-- maybe put some collision detection on the animals?

jpdev 2016-12-16 22:07

Nice job on drawing all these in the 48 hours.
Feels like a childs book :)

yami-no-tenshi 2016-12-16 22:31

Nice story ! More than a game, it would do a great book for children !!! Art was pretty nice. :)

ithildin 2016-12-17 00:40

Nice art and cute story, it felt like a visual fable, and I believe it could totally work as an interactive book for kids. Great job!

axoona 2016-12-17 10:49

What a charming game! I really liked the graphics and the mood. It's a very nice story game for small children :)
big up for the rhymes!

mementogames 2016-12-17 19:10

Beautiful art! And so cute. It's like a digital interactive fairy tale. Nice job!

powerspark 2016-12-19 22:26

D'aww
I liked the art and dialogue, very very unique... Some music is what I felt was missing. Well done :D

chipmonkey 2016-12-23 20:34

Love this game -- simple, but a great message and great for all ages -- awesome compo!
