Great puzzle concept. Very tricky. I kept walling myself in. Good work.

Great puzzle concept. Very tricky. I kept walling myself in. Good work.
the characters and animations are really good! you did a great job.
I love how fast it cycles into different time periods. Great work.
for such simple gameplay it feels very full. I really liked it a lot. The music is good, the art is good, the theme is good. Great work.
Great gameplay on a classic robot game. Good work. It gets super hard when you get to the levels with the bot spawners. No matter how fast I shoot I can't keep up.
HELLO! I am the Tartle Wizard! I made this game. I hope you enjoy it; it is a bit weird. This is my first Ludum Dare.
Yeah, I need to fix a couple things. It would be better if hitting the X only closed an inner window instead of the entire game. Also, I need to make it so the floppy disk stops moving when you enter the computer at the end.
very cool, good look to it and the music is perfect. Very difficult though.
I love the art. I can't figure out the win condition. I keep flying up because of the arrow on the bottom.
Great idea and I didn't expect that twist at the end. Nice work. I respect games that attempt to be just a little more than a game :)
haha. I did not expect the room too do that. really cool. The only problem is I cannot grab that grey sock for some reason! I really want to know what happens at the end
really cool look to the game but it may just be too hard! I think if you make the player's attack much faster it would be manageable.
Hello,
I made this... I used Unity version 5. The art was done using an app called Artflow and Gimp. Music and sound effects recording using Audacity (and my keyboard). This is my 2nd time doing the LD Compo.
what issues did you see?
The Ludum dare site is being weird. If you aren't seeing the game start up go to the weblink and play it on itch. I also uploaded it onto Gamejolt.
yeah it looks like the Ludum Dare page is having a problem with linking to the playable webbuild via itch. Go here to play the game: https://tartlegames.itch.io/not-enough-meatballs
Thanks for the comments! I tried using the url from itch from the embedded tab and it still doesn't autoplay through the page here. For the comment about it not running on Mac, was that playing through this page or from the itch.io page?
oh, and I am kicking myself real hard for not including a leader board. :(
After voting ends I think I will add some new weapons, levels, and features. The AI is pretty bad, so I gotta improve that too
the embed should now work. I was using the wrong URL. DOH!
I love the art and this is a really cute idea for the theme. I was confused right at first but after clicking around I figured it out. I really messed that room up.
Good work. Runs smooth. The particle systems look really good and I like the physics on the rocket. IT kind of lobs out. Hard mode was really hard.
woah that is stressful. With that count down and I couldn't figure out what do to and by the time I found the puzzle screen I was done for. Nice work. The graphics are good and I like the low gravity.
The art is good and the intro is well done. The animations on the characters are good too. I wish there was more to the battling scene, more explosions and such. It is off to a really good start.
I love it. I don't think you could ask any more from a little game like this. It feels complete.
really weird and cool idea. I never would have though about making a room that eats people. Good work.
pixel art is fantastic and the idea is creative. Good work
Awesome idea and the interactive screens on the spaceship are really cool. Good work! This was an ambitious undertaking for 48 hours.
omg I love this. I want to give you 11 stars in each category. And the subtle easter egg in the Unity player options is genius.
one of my favorites so far. This is awesome. The graphics are unique and I appreciate the tiny, mysterious story. really good work
You Are The Dead! Great work. This reminds me of a drunken twitter spree I had recently about putting a kitty into space because we have the technology.
this game freaks me out. Please take that as a compliment. This is one of the most interesting entries I've seen so far. Good work
I think it is pretty innovative. If you keep working on it and add some other dialogue options for the ship movements and attacks I think this could really turn into something. The entire scene is really cinematic the way you can see the ships outside the windows. That was a good idea. I couldn't hear any sound.
solid game play. The changing attack patterns really threw me when they kicked in. That's a good feature. Very accessible too, it took me know time to understand what I was supposed to do. Great work.
the graphics looks great overall. Good work.
I had to run it in firefox as well. Love the art for your characters. good work.
Man... You are the Leonardo Divinci of the indie game world. Great work. This is brilliant.
wow! This is amazing. I can't wait to see where you take this cause it is such a unique idea!! really great work.
Has a good atmosphere to it with the small light radius. Good work.
yeah it got me. I didn't expect something to jump out. Good work! I survived for a bit whilst throwing the saw blade around. I wasn't sure if there was a way to win so I eventually let myself die. Great work though. With a little more work for the combat this could be going places. Or what if you have to solve a room puzzle while avoid and fighting off the zombies?
Good work. I am not sure if it is just me or not but I can't get x to close the portals
Great art. I loved the whales. It made me a little motion sick with the spinning, but that's just me. I have a history of that when it comes to things that spin.
I loved it. Very funny.
oh god my brain can't process it -- but overall really cool idea. The animations are fantastic.
It is kind of addicting -- and that must mean it's done right. The particle systems look really good. My favorite thing about it is the lights out effect. It wouldn't be the same without that :D
woah really good job on this. Love the 2.5D style
good work. I really like those lowpoly engines on the back of the ship.
I liked it. The controls are good and everything runs smooth. And it's fun! I survived at least 6 waves once. As the room expands is there and ending or an escape at some point?
