Beautiful game with surprisingly complex puzzles. The art style is fantastic and I like the DS reference ;) The music is also catchy and fits well with the theme. The characters and animations are well made, too. Solving puzzles by smashing rocks is definitely fun! :D

Beside the cheesy name, this was all kinds of cool. Nice visuals, mechanics (especially like the title that teaches you everything about the game), sounds, good humor.
Not sure how you're randomizing those blocks, but unless there's a bias towards blank ones I might have got close to hitting the loser's jackpot here:

Very nice game!
Good puzzles, graphic effects and music!
Congratulations! Do you used some engine?
Thanks for all the kind words so far @nardelli everything was coded in Gamemaker Studio, art and animations with Photoshop, sounds were made in logic and the two of us who made the game were the cavemen.
the characters and animations are really good! you did a great job.
Super impressive submission. I loved the menu first of all, it was awesome and interactive and also taught the core mechanic of the game instantly. The sound effects and extra characters really made me feel immersed. So glad I played this!

I loved the art! overall good game
Phenomenal graphics for 72 hours! Wonderful!
Awesome entry!
Very solid level design with a good difficulty curve, simple mechanics with a surprising amount of depth, nice graphics, very funny, a cameo by Dark Souls guy... and of course, *top-notch* voice acting.
Amazing work, guys. I would definitely play a full game version.
I love when game lasts exactly as much, as it should. You play, you enjoy good controls, jokes, and simple puzzles, solving of which still gives you feeling of accomplishment, and almost immediately after you think, that maybe it's enough of pushing blocks, game ends with a funny twist and leaves overall feeling of satisfaction. Good job!

Good animations and sound. Nice graphics, a bit simple, but very cool and funny. The game feeling is good.

Really amazing game, I loved the complex puzzles the most but the music, sfx, art, humor, physics, and everything was fantastic. I feel I should make my future games with more polish and cohesiveness now.
If I had to say my least favorite part it would be the swings to break blocks felt long after repeating a puzzle multiple times, but it wasn't bad.
Anyway amazing work!
@ianb96 - thanks man, that's a really nice comment. Why can't I hold all my feels.

I was expecting a fairly simple run-of-the-mill platformer, but this was actually really great! The puzzles were deceptively tricky (they weren't so challenging that they were frustrating, but they often made you overlook an obvious 'catch' on your first try), the little jokes and references were funny, the music was good, there was non-terrible voice-acting, and it had a decent amount of content without overstaying its welcome. Very solid entry in all aspects.
Misc. notes:
-I was bit annoyed that you couldn't attack and move at the same time, but I appreciate that it was probably easier to get the mechanics working without having to worry about the player moving around mid-swing
-I liked how the menu selection doubles as a simple tutorial
-The passive aggressive dialogue from the caveman in the first screen is funny, but it seemed a bit weird that he says it even if you already smashed the blocks
-On the first puzzle where the background transitions from cave to outdoors, it's possible to jump over the walls on the edge and get stuck
-The randomized block paintings are a nice touch

It was a really fun game and I added to my favorites. You could really add some cool stuff to this.
Funny, well made game! I included it in my compilation video series of Ludum Dare 36, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/QlYKcvCr0YM
