This is a start of an amazing game. this game really lacks sound effects. i want to feel when i hit them mobs, and when they hit me. other then that this will be an amazing game with more work.

hellojed 2016-04-19 00:04

A Pretty good beat em up.

dragonzbw 2016-04-19 00:04

Reminds of Castle Clashers a little

hyden 2016-04-19 00:06

Overall it can be addicted but as one of the comments below mentions, it would be nice to have some sound effects of hitting the enemies but I guess I can't judge on sound since my game doesn't have any at all XD

murraya2 2016-04-19 00:10

Looks beautiful, but not much to do besides hold space and walk around.

divegato 2016-04-19 00:12

Got a dark souls vibe from those enemies.

crimson713 2016-04-19 00:13

Nice game. Some sound effects would be great, i liked all the transformations with the different weapons.

arvydas 2016-04-19 04:47

Great "kickass" game! Definitely needs some epic sounds to go with that rockin Metal \m|^^

thomz12 2016-04-19 11:02

Music fits the game perfectly. Like everyone mentioned before, it needs sound effects.

mrnannings 2016-04-19 11:05

Nice game. Amazing this runs well in the browser.

mintarcade 2016-04-19 11:19

Nicely done!

nyaki 2016-04-19 11:29

It's a great start for a good hack'n'slash game.
Looks nice too.

plantprogrammer 2016-04-19 11:30

This is a pretty good game. It is a simple and to the point beat em up.
Sometimes I had the feeling, though, that collecting souls made me shift into a weaker character (needing more hits to kill a mob).
I think the choice of music and graphics produces a nice overall atmosphere. Thanks for sharing :)

psychomonster 2016-04-19 14:09

Wow. Cool beat em up... With sounds and some polishing at the controls it would be much better. But I like the artworks very much. Good job!

edocentrique 2016-04-19 14:15

So it's like buffy vampire slayer but with demon in new york :D

budaniel 2016-04-19 14:21

nice game very little sound effects music was cool though.all in all i liked this entry

glaze_96 2016-04-19 14:30

Get 57 though killed myself after it got a bit too tedious :/
Beat em' up is not my kind of genre.

You could have done a better job on finding assets that fit together.

Otherwise, nice work!

Hope you had fun making it =)

lucasncv 2016-04-19 17:06

Good story haha! Nice game, just a bit too easy I guess. Would love to be able to jump.

aeai 2016-04-19 19:56

Really fun game, I like the spear best, making corpse piles are awesome:)

powerspark 2016-04-20 00:17

I got 70 before getting trapped by a horde XD Nice game, it needs juice!

panicthefirst 2016-04-20 00:25

Pretty good game. I just missed some more feedback while hitting those enemies.

buddydoq 2016-04-20 00:27

With some juicing, this could be a really great beat'em up! I got 57 and died on a mountain of bodies like a champion. It was awesome.

adsilcott 2016-04-20 02:44

That was a wild ride. You may have used stock assets, but what you did with them was quite awesome. I really enjoyed that!

mightytoaststudio 2016-04-20 10:31

Good beat em up. Only with a bit more of juice it'll be a must ludum dare game. :D

digitaldude555 2016-04-20 14:45

The game was alright was definitely fun but didn't use theme that creatively and became a bit tedious over time. Over all its good.

xanjos 2016-04-20 15:27

This was pretty fun to play although it definitely needs some hit sound effects.

hunttis 2016-04-20 21:07

Whew, good thing you said about the game size, I thought it crashed, but it was still downloading :D

Nice work, if a bit on the short side :) It was a bit of a mystery to me when I was successfully hitting enemies (maybe add some flashes or sparks or something :) )

I liked that you had a few different transforms!

aemiliu5 2016-04-20 21:17

Good work! I liked the gameplay, but I think sound effects would make this game truly shine.

josemwarrior 2016-04-21 20:38

Get 65.:) I think the scenario is too big to not provide variety. You could have reduced and so save on MB. Anyway, I liked, and I miss a final boss :)

wan 2016-04-22 08:53

Nice work! The game works fine, and having different weapons throughout it is a nice touch. I would have enjoyed better feedback on fighting, like particles/sound effects when we land a hit or take damage, maybe some text indicating the damage we did...

The game looks good and the graphics are quite cohesive for a mashup of existing assets! And having metal music on top of that amazon fighting game reminded me a bit of Xena: Warrior Princess :P

2016-04-23 15:18

Hi, nice game ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description

nihilaleph 2016-04-23 18:59

Nice beat 'em up! Though it does lack feedback, I don't know when I'm hitting or when I'm hit.. I got 139 points, and at that point it was a bit repetitive... Anyways good work!

puppetmaster 2016-04-24 13:43

Great game! I love beat em up style games. Missing sounds!
Congrats for you game!

ragnta 2016-04-24 19:35

Great game, with awesome metal! :) Good job!

pixelpotions 2016-04-28 14:01

Fighting Force with Dark Souls enemies... I LOVED IT!
The graphics are damn cool and I would love to see it further developed!
Well done!

rock-eaters 2016-05-01 07:24

...cool...

jofra 2016-05-04 22:24

Cool game! Love those big guys ( dark souls style)
Would like to see some animation/particules for feedback and some sounds effects for a better mood :S

medidog 2016-05-04 22:32

Vaguely reminds me of vintage beat-em-up games. Needs improvements on animations and some variety in enemies and shapeshifting.

sri-harsha-chilakapati 2016-05-06 06:43

This is one of the best games I've played till now. Don't worry about the size, I would love to see this as a AAA game on Steam, it has got huge potential.
