Definitely felt the impending doom in this one. Good art too. Good work!
Really cute idea and great execution of the theme! It definitely gets a little stressful as the game progresses, which I think really hammers in the idea of "delaying" the inevitable".
Cute penguin, great theme, nice gameplay, and when the music altered, I suddenly realize the theme about global warming and melting glaciers is not just a funny thing.
Really cool entry, have to say I did break the game my first try. Expected an exploration game, so I just kept building out two ice cubes and then was able to just walk around out of bounds. The sounds after that were pretty intense but I could not see anything lol
Super nice and well-put-together! The music changes really surprised me and were a nice touch! :)
The dynamic music is just so cool to me. Simple and fun to play!
Very well made! And it gets really intense towards the end!
Cute penguin. Calm then hectic gameplay with supporting audio tempo change, good one! Definitely a sense of the inevitable here.
Not bad! Interesting mechanics, and a great hit on the topic :) It would be nice if you developed mechanics a little bit more. The graphics are nice, overall a great job.
cute graphics and good hit on the topic!
I like how the game started out very peaceful and quickly got more hectic with the tempo change. Also enjoyed the cute penguin art. Thanks for the experience and nice work! :D
Horrendously stressful and incredibly upsetting. I just wanted my adorable little penguin to live :( Really loved the way the music was dynamic in response to the patch of ice you were on and really was stress inducing despite sounding so damn cute. Fit with the graphics well and the sounds effects were cute too giving the player good feedback.
The only thing I maybe would have liked to see would be either some kind of (very faint) grid or some kind of indicator as to which block is to be picked up since it could be quite hard to tell which square you're standing on. A lot of the time when I wanted to pick up edge blocks, I'd end up overshooting and not be able to pickl it up since I was standing on it! That's just me being suuper nitpicky though!
Overall, incredibly well put together, very smooth and fit the theme brilliantly. The whole atmosphere was fab so great entry and well done!
Fun game mechanic! Nice art style and music, too. I survived for 95.6s in my first attempt, but in the next one...

I was able to move blocks so fast that I left the map and was free :P
I see I'm not the first one to free myself by accident by building too far away. It's a nice core mechanic, although it could use some more to do and some polish. I wish I could see what tile I was about to pick up/place into, and that I couldn't place things two tiles away while standing at the edge. Music was nice, and everything felt smooth.
Good submission. Very melancholy feeling which I liked. Poor little penguin :( I did come across a bug though where you can pick up ice as it is melting and place it down to reset it.
