Great))) Funny idea, nice implementation!

wroth670 2015-08-24 00:25

Controls a bit unwieldy, but it's fun nevertheless.

designernap 2015-08-24 01:36

Excellent work. Simple fun controls, smooth visuals and addictive! Love it. Great work!

superpokeunicorn 2015-08-24 02:31

Love the cutesy visuals! I'd like to see this idea expanded upon.

burgerdare 2015-08-24 02:31

really really cute! I love that you have the option to use your powers for good or evil, and that the landscape actually changes significantly based on how you behave.
I think it was a little unclear at first *how* I could help the villagers, but once I figured it out I had a great time watching them build up their little settlement.
(I also think it's really adorable how the worm bounces off of objects when it's underground.)

Anything that reminds me of Populous is good in my book.

tibyte 2015-08-24 11:45

The game is very addicting. But the Audio is only in one stereo channel, which gets annoying.

mcccclean 2015-08-24 12:23

@TiByte - oh, that's playing the wrong files! Fixed that.

conormn 2015-08-24 17:17

Really glad you added the option to help the villagers. Very nice take on the theme :)

bombjack 2015-08-24 20:24

very nice entry :) good job

runedrake 2015-08-24 20:57

Really fun. I helped them build a village and then a mass grave to go alongside.

lgbpaiva 2015-08-24 23:40

Nice graphics and mechanics, killed a bunch of people, cutted a bunch of trees, built a bunch of houses (and something like a Memorial), broke a bunch of stones and no one never saw the big worm again... don't know my high score thou.

boardtobits 2015-08-24 23:46

Great choice of monster! Fun little take on a town-builder, and simple controls make it easy to get into.

lucho9 2015-08-25 22:32

hehe, it was dificult with the controls at first but when you get used it gets more adictive

toni343 2015-08-26 11:18

It was good. But was the goal to help in the building efforts or kill the people? The graphics are nice and cheerful and the theme was spot on.

I love this game! Concept and execution are both fantastic, graphics fit perfectly and are a love sleek style. I adore this game, you have done a marvellous job. Well done.

Addictive and innovative, great game!

powerspark 2015-08-30 03:55

This was cool and very well done. Nice polishing too!

slashee-the-cow 2015-08-30 06:31

Loved the graphics. Not really sure what was going on. Just waited for villagers to appear then jumped out and ate them (if that's not what I'm supposed to be doing, some more explanation would be nice). Audio didn't really suit (but as someone who uses sfxr for my LD games, I'm not necessarily one to talk on that subject).

thebrickanator 2015-08-30 06:32

Pretty fun game and simple to play :) I liked it's simple style allot and it reminded me a little of my game.

rotpar 2015-08-30 06:34

Very fun game and good take on the theme!

zephyr-raine 2015-08-30 06:37

You should keep working on it and implement new features, this is a pretty cool idea

voidstar33 2015-08-30 10:44

Excellent game. Very engaging game play. Great choice, and wonderful depiction of the monster. Well done. Cute simple graphics. All 5.

This was the first game I played this LD, but since we hadn't submitted when I played I couldn't rate.
But anyway, real nice interpretation of the theme! I loved the fact you could help or hinder the villagers. The controls were tight, and the camera worked perfectly. I just wish there was more to do, but I guess you know that already!
