Hay, that's pretty good

Got both endings

kurakurt 2016-12-12 21:00

Interacting with objects is done perfectly!

sollinxp 2016-12-12 22:47

nice pixel art, cool side scrolling adventure game

darkavenger211 2016-12-12 23:03

Very nice! I liked the gloomy feel you gave it. Also I can't figure out how to get the good end haha. Good job

yami-no-tenshi 2016-12-12 23:13

I liked the atmosphere and interactions between objects, nice writting :)

powerspark 2016-12-12 23:16

Nice game, got both endings. I like the pixel art and music/atmosphere, good job!

thebrickanator 2016-12-12 23:16

I love how the solution was never what you expected and the game feels very well polished. nice work :D

otso-turpeinen 2016-12-12 23:18

Interesting. :3

Man, I have to say: I found the true ending and I never went back. I got the mood, and I was scared in the end. Good work!

thygrrr 2016-12-12 23:20

Smooth, blocky, very moody graphics.
Great audio. Scary room(s).

Really nice "walking simulator" / "point n click" hybrid.

Controls a bit fiddly, would have preferred cursors, space, and enter.

abezuska 2016-12-12 23:22

Hey if you do a Mac port let me know and I can test it for you.

maxamaden 2016-12-12 23:32

Sorry @abezuska, Mac, Linux and HTML5 builds aren't working properly for some reason :(

This has been one of my favourite games as of yet. The mood is perfectly executed and gives me chills. It's such a simple concept and yet it's very alluring and completely drew me in while I was playing it. Also I know I'm not supposed to be judging based on music but the vinyl really added a special something to the atmosphere that I don't think could have been done without it. Great job!

Very nice solid game, especially for it being the first time you used a tool. I was able to both endings, though I don't quite understand why doing what you did gave you the good ending. I would have liked to have seen a consequence to that action, though I'm guessing you had it planned out but ran out of time.

Nice pixel art with a strange and scary mood. Your project reminds me some old games with which I played on my Atari 520ST when I were young. Really well done ++

somnolentpumpkin 2016-12-13 23:08

I really liked the art-style, very impressive for 48 hours!

I got the bad ending, but I'm not sure what I did wrong haha.

psychomonster 2016-12-13 23:20

Yeah that is exactly my favorite kind of artwork... pixels = love! Nice moody game! Very good gameplay! good job. Have fun playing all the other games!

tuxisborntofrag 2016-12-13 23:26

Hey, I really liked the slight creepyness to it! And loved the simple pixel art! Kinda short game play sadly.

xesenix 2016-12-13 23:36

Itch.io download deosnt work for me. Really good pixel art nice mood. Using of items in inventory isnt instantly obvious probably adding a E - to use text would fix that problem. Over all great work.

My favourite entry so far!

2016-12-16 10:37

oh! Nice entry! Can I find it on indiexpo? I'm making videos about the games of this Jam, but only about the games hosted also on indiexpo! Tell me if you will add it, so I can include it in my next video ;)

jupiter_hadley 2016-12-16 17:14

Really neat game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 37 games, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/HllFgHUemY4

mental13 2016-12-17 12:26

Great game. Could not find the second ending though, I guess I got the bad one(

thatsnillet 2016-12-18 19:19

Great writing, balanced puzzles and cool idea with two endings. I tried playing it in fullscreen using alt-enter but i could then see outside what was allowed to see. I guess you could try changing some graphics settings in "global game settings".

jpdev 2016-12-19 07:00

Really well done
