I feel like HemingApe after this experience. :P
I like the controls, although I got a bit dizzy! The audio is really nice too. The vine grows nicely and it's really satisfying to just make pretty shapes.
Nice concept and fun. With a bit of artwork and fx this would be pretty attractive game
There are some issues with minor bugs, but I think the way you've turned the 2 button controls into a mechanic is really neat and a good idea.
Wish we could try it 4 player!
I love the deer, they look so cool. Ragnar looks pretty neat too to be fair. I found it a bit confusing (even after carefully reading this page) the first time around but I always love a bit of deforestation. Was good to see a guest appearance from the Niddhog!
Awesome game.
I can only say that quite often I got false negatives because I was introducing the right sequence.
+1 for awesomeness
I like this. The audio fits really nicely with the overall feel of the game and is a particular stand out for me.
Love the arcade vibe of the game. I can see myself playing something like this when I was a kid in the 80s. Well done
Hi everyone,
I liked the mood a lot, and how well artwork (music and graphics) supported it.
I'm probably missing some closure after the game is lost or win. Something to fit the narrative of the solstice and the fisher town. I hope you have some time to add it after the jam.
I've played just a couple of times but I'm still wondering what would happen if the boat reaches the horizon.
And regarding technical issues: first time I played I though the basket was my yield of food for that moon but it seems to be the stock. Probably a static asset would represent a stock much better.
Cheers!!! A job very well done.
I like the graphics and the game is easily understood and very well presented.
What can improve?
- Level 1 (tutorial) is maybe too long.
- the barriers and lasers don't look too dangerous in the first place. When you I meet the obstacles I'm not 100% they're dangerous.
- I'd like to have a faster pace, it feels kind of slow.
Well done!
Nice little nod to that film that's coming out ;)
Music is nice too and I like the nice big pixels. Very difficult, but not unfairly so.
Interesting approach.
Keyboard input didn't work.
It seems like a good idea, but I found it very confusing! It'd be good if you could find a way to teach how to play by holding the player's hand through the first week or something.
Hi
@Riagan: you have to kill the prince first to be able to throw
@alvaromartin: Just fixed that problems.
There's a big problem with the camera too. I've to fix it asap
Sorry for all the bugs, I think sleep deprivation didn't help me work at all as coder. Thanks goodness, the art team was doing great.
I just fixed a major bug that made the exit door to stop working after you died once. That should help a lot.
I'll be woking this weekend to fix all major stuff :P
Good news everyone! I had some time and I could fix the biggest problem. You should be able to complete the 4 levels available.
Thanks for your patience guys ;P
I have added a link to Postcompo version with major bugs fixed.
