Globey's Revenge is a really good looking game, I can tell you worked a lot on that! Gameplay however is sometimes lacking, I don't mean bugs because that's to be expected in a game jam. This is likely because of controls and the fact that I've rarely gotten into sonic games, which this takes inspiration from. Having to constantly switch between fast-paced planet rolling to shooting feels awkward sometimes, mostly due to the controls as I mentioned. I think this could be fixed if W or Up Arrow allows you to jump, and it's not just the Space Bar. Besides that, it's really impressive that you made something this visually appealing in 3 days. With a few tweaking this could be really great. Keep up the good work!
I really enjoyed playing this game - I felt nostalgic as it reminds me of sonic the hedgehog. Great graphics, nice use of the theme. :D
It is really impressive how much you got done in this short amount of time! But for the next ludum dare I would recommend to focus on a simpler core gameplay and spend more time on balancing, making sure the controlls are really good, making it really fun and adding details without increasing the gameplay complexity. This way the game could turn out really great. Keep it up!

Some feedback would be really nice!
I like the artstyle you chose and the backgroundmusic. It somehow fits the idea of a planet rolling around the stage and I dont even know how that is possible. The movement feels good most of the time except rolling downhills and going into a loop. When entering a loop I had to release all buttons or just stop at the top of it. I always fell downhill (maybe I am just not controlling it the right way). Besides that, as I already mentioned, it really looks great. A lot of work must have gone into the Sprites and stuff like that. I really appreciate your work here.
Sonic approved this game. It's impressive to see all this work for a simple Ludum Dare, even if the controls are not really perfect.
Rollin' around at the speed of *squish.* Also throwing people because hucking humans at things is hilarious.
That was fun. And a really creative twist on the theme. Controls for the loop were a little awkward but the game was a lot of fun!
Funny game! :D In most aspects, it is a classic platformer, but the whole concept is great. I love throwing humans - cool way to do ammo. Rolling is also cool.
I'm very impressed with the art. There are so many good-looking sprites!
I really like this little game :)
Nice entry! You can feel the influence of sonic in that game! Graphics are great the movements are nervous. However, the way you can deal with enemies is kind of frustrating. I wish I could jump on their head (but maybe, it would look to much like sonic...). Anyway, great job! ;)
I get its a sonic reference but is it a reference to sonics environmentalist undertones? Either way i had fun playing this. Big fan of the 2d sonic games and this game wears its inspiration on its sleeve. Though in practice the lack of polish on the movement broke the immersion frequently (usually on the loops, though i can see how they'd be tricky to get perfect). All in all a great effort :D
Honestly, I found this game pretty disappointing. You've got a funny idea, but it's just not a very fun game. The hit detection is off, and the world doesn't even scroll evenly, leaving gaps between areas. Overall, it needs a lot more polish. Truth be told, though, it doesn't feel original enough.
This was a really cool idea! It looked great. The movement could definitely use some polish though.
I played this on Livestream Today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGr9VAOjIQs
The movement could use some polish, I was able to clip thru the wall. The ammo counter was confusing and I ended up destroying my population not knowing it couldn't be replenished. I wanna see more stuff where I can sonic spin into enemies.
Take that capitalism!
As a Sonic-inspired platformer, your game does well (especially for 72 hours). The graphics were nice and clean and colourful, I liked the sound effects when launching your population at enemies (nice inclusion of the Wilhelm scream), and the music was catchy. The gameplay itself could do with a bit of streamlining (I found I had to advance very slowly lest I crash into too many enemies/spikes), and the controls, while serviceable, were a bit buggy at times (I found myself unable to go around loops even if I held only the down button). I like your the take on the theme, though I get the feeling you didn't have the time to fully implement your ideas (I know the feeling). Was kind of hoping the third stage would have a boss battle, but I guess you can't have it all! Overall, good job!

Nice job! Really amazed with what you made in only 72hrs. Gameplay is fun and exciting, the graphics are great, and the soundtrack is perfect. The gameplay does have a few glitches occasionally, but other than that, it's great!
It's really fun to play your game: especially throwing little guys! At the same time challenging and beautiful! A really nice experience for me!
Very pretty, very polished and very fun. Feels like a finished game and i like it!
Good entry, with a strong retro (and sonic :) ) feel and solid mechanics.
And by gods, those people as ammo, I laughed harder than I should.
What could be improved:
- hitboxes (obvious thing, always needs loads of playtesting), since clipping happens, and jumps can be blocked. - clarification with ammo (on first play I depleted my people and ended up empty) - there should be some more feedback here, but the mechanic in itself is very fun - input: feels somewhat awkward at times (for me), but that's a matter of playtesting and checking out different mappings.
Overall, a solid piece of work, and really polished.
Leaving my rating, cheers!
This game is pretty rad. Movement when rolling around in a ball is really fun. Unfortunately, the flow gets interrupted by having to stop and shoot at enemies. There's a reason that sonic attacks by rolling though enemies. However, the sounds the people make when they are fired are pretty funny. The destruction aspect of the game is pretty viscerally satisfying, but it's annoying when you have to backtrack because you didn't smash enough stuff. The audio and visuals are two of the best parts of the game. Presentation wise, this is definitely a top contender. Overall, This game is really great, but would be a lot better if you could figure out a method of combat that didn't break the flow of the game.
I like that it's a sonic like game.
Not sure if I like that you cant kill enemies in rolling mode. Instead of a sonic game, it's now a very slow game.
Still, as a platformer with multiple levels, it's pretty well done.
Also, way too many keys... I have to look at the keyboard while playing.
