Very cool entry :D
Cool game, though without sound it felt a bit hollow. Still, great work!
Thanks! We didn't plan well and at the end we didn't have enough time for musir or sounds. We will make it better next time!
Not bad at all, but the game is very hard. You should add a life bar to the mushroom, and maybe some power ups.
Controls and handling is very well done (most of games I play the controls feeling are a bit akward).
Yeah, we keep in mind these ideas but we had to simplify a lot to reach the deadline xD We need to adjust the camera and make the collisions less harder. We will improve this entry beyond LDJAM because we liked it as a prototype :)
Once again, thanks for the feedback!
I liked it, the graphics were great and the platforming was fun. I couldn't figure out a way to stop the magic projectiles. I like the different kinds of enemies. Good weekends work, guys!
Good scenery!!
Thank you! Unfortunately, there is no way to stop magic projectiles!
Good job guys. No sound is a bit sad though. I like your idea and the art is kinda cool. It was annoying that I couldn't see the bottom floor when standing on the lowest platform (so I had to keep jumping down). I couldn't quite jump up to the tunnel on the top right too. Was that a secret zone? Thanks for participating!!!
Thanks! Haha that tunnel leads nowhere, Antonio put it there wondering if anyone would notice :P But a secret zone would have been great!
Pretty cool game, I don't know how many times I died... a lot ^^. Graphics are really cool, and I think Koomba is cute and funny (yeah, I love the graphics ^^). Too bad you didn't have enough time for some sound effects and a music.
Nice job !
Hey, you. mentioned in a comment on my game that my game's window was too large for your monitor. In that case, download the "smaller window size" version.
Oh, thank you very much! I will try this version ASAP :)
Good entry. I liked the graphics style and movement, too bad that there were no sounds.
Great game idea, I like that you based your idea on Super Mario 1-1 level.
The graphics are awesome. Too bad you didn't have time to implement sound.
Good entry. Only thing I didn't like was the invisible walls and the jump felt a bit strange, but was good when I got used to it.
Thanks guys! Next time we will try to aim for the music first. We had to put invisible walls to avoid the player entering in the enemy spawn zone. Bad solution, we know, but as always, time was running out :P
Nice idea! I like the idea of a stompy tower defence game. Also, very well presented!
I'm surprised you made this game in Unreal Engine. That seems like overkill. It needs sound. Good graphics. The shake effect felt a bit too powerful to me. Your game is pretty difficult. Sometimes I would die even when I landed on an enemy. In conclusion, I must say that I absolutely HATE it when games mess with or hide my mouse pointer. It makes me feel very hostile when I lose control of my own computer. \[><]/
Graphics are great and the platforming gameplay was fun. It could be improved if you continue this project. Thank you ++
Thanks! We want to improve this prototype and do something bigger in the future :)
@Robot Souls Games if you have this problem with our entry or any other game ever, just use ALT + TAB to minimice the Window. As you said, we have some collision problems in The Curse of Koomba. Sometimes hitting the knights in the head (specially the lancers) gets the player killed anyway. We know it's unfair and we don't want to make the game this hard, but we had not time to fix it. We will try to make it better in a post Ludum Dare version ( >.<) /
Excellent concept and very nice graphics and animations. The jumping is hard to control and the screenshake is too strong, and as others have said this game would love some sound.
