Doesn't work on mine, bro. :(
Such amazing concept, such wonderful graphix, such people exploding out of trains, such huge lasers! - 20/10 IGN
Excellent work for a compo game. I ran into the brown bug blocking most of the asteroids sometimes.
I admit I was a bit shocked when I lost the entire train after a cart near the front was lost, but this makes sense.
I loved the pacing and the ramp up of the music when you transition from the upgrade screen to the gameplay section.
The style is polished although the asteroids feel slightly out of place or lower quality art compared to the beautiful train.
Linux version does not run:
zarandy@zarandy-Aspire-V3-531G:~/Downloads/SpaceTrains-Linux$ ./Game./Game: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL2_ttf-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Which is strange because when I try to install libsdl2-ttf, it says that it's already installed.
Nice idea, I enjoyed this game!
I like the idea but I think you ramped the difficulty to quickly, it quickly became a bullet hell where I couldn't dodge.
For whatever reason, once the enemies start showing up, the whole screen turns brown and I can't see anything anymore. The screen still flashes like stuff is happening, but it's just one solid color.
Okay guys I fixed the brown glitch. It's a really dumb mistake.
Pretty challenging. Could really benefit from better graphics and more gameplay balance, but it's fun.
great game, love the graphics! :D
I had a lot of fun playing this. Didn't get very far though. It has complex set of upgrades but they aren't hard to understand though.
Wow, really great and well polished game, considering it's only made in two days. I had great fun with it. Lasted for 6 or 7 stations, and the difficulty curve is gentle at first but gets hard faster when you hit a certain point. Thanks for your entry, I enjoyed it!
