You have to go to "configure java" in the start menu, then go to the security tab and enter the address from the address bar of the web browser to the list and restart the browser.
Next jam I'm definitely not using the applet like I did.
Chrome says it's malicious and won't download it.
Is it supposed to be ungodly fast?
I'd probably change it so that you select colors with the numbers and fire with space or go use a twin stick layout with wasd and arrows to fire a la Isaac. I like the take on programmer art though. Shapes aren't just a placeholder but actually the enemies.

Wow, this is really very hard.
I feel like with the addition of a UI showing what state you are in and a faster more responsive attack, this could be quite a lot of fun.
