Love the graphics and the prologue voices! It's bloody hard though, I haven't been able to beat level 2 yet. Also until I'd read your blurb it wasn't obvious why some shots did nothing, a visual indication for that would be great.
Amazing job though overall.

It's no mean feat to have made a tactics game in two days. However, damage is way too random, resulting in a very frustrating game.

Battling was a little confusing at first, but it's fun after I had figured it out. Gameplay could be more fast paced, however.
Great game! I have to say, the turn-based mechanics were pretty awesome (felt very XCom-esque with the two-action move/attack system). I felt like there was a lot of explaining to do with the objects in the scene, though.
For example, I was unsure what to do with the stuff that spawns in front of the characters in battle, and it was a little hard to see the light blue squares on the battlefield, at first.
Other than that, it was pretty fun, funny, interesting, unique, and DEFINITELY challenging! Great job!

Yay, I won! Maybe it was more luck than skill, who knows :) I didn't figure out what the chest contents did.

This was difficult to play (not in a bad way, though!), but I tip my hat that you were able to achieve so much in just 3 days.
Yeah I won. The first time I opened a chest I got the green gas. What a nice surprise

48 hours! Pretty impressive in short amount of time. Was that you making the zombie sound effect?
I did as it happens. All the sounds are made just by me and a microphone. It was quite a draining 48 hours :p
Great little strategy game - obviously a lot of thought went into this.
I was about to get ready to complain about the difficulty but somehow I managed to complete the game. And I'm not that great of a gamer so it can't be that bad. It was nice. The fighting was a bit too random and it would have been nice to know the range of weapons beforehand, not only when hovering enemies. That the units didn't really move on the grid was a surprise and it might have been better to display a circle, showing the range of each move action. When you are down to only have one unit you can be lucky to get two turns in a row with that unit (I think) and that felt a bit unfair.
A good game though! After all I played it to the end.
Just to clarify a couple of things, the move is actually grid based, you can just move to any position within a tile in the grid that's in range of your move. Also its always an element that you can get two turns in a row (but you will only see this if you have more units than the enemy), I deliberately chose to have the player always go first on a new round of turns.
I was hoping to do more with weapon ranges and things (have a unit selection screen for missions that would give that type of info), but ran out of time. The perils of a tight deadline I guess :)

Nice game, worth playing.
Pretty solid overall. The gameplay is pretty luck-based. I died three times on the first stage, then I was able to beat all three stages in a row. I like that you can move to any location within the grid square. That's a nice touch. At one point I had zombies on top of me and the interface made it difficult or impossible to shoot them.
