Very amusing use of the theme.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD32 → Philosophers Battle

Very amusing use of the theme.
My pc is detecting malware on your site/site you're hosting with.
Interesting concept.
Perhaps more quotations would be a good idea.
... And a loosing-sequence.
Amusing game, although rather difficult. The dialogues were fun and clever. nice work!
As a philosophy graduate, I really enjoyed this game! I think that it would certainly benefit from some sounds, but having said that what you've got here is great! :D
I have master degree in history of science and I really loved your idea. I was able to defeat all philosophers! The pixelart of them is very good, I loved too. Needs sound/music, one background image (in pixelart) for each one of philosophers should be great! Keep the project on!!!! Congrats!
Someone is clearly a fan of Hobbes. Great game! An extremely clever use of the theme.
love your approach to the theme man
Just to add: as a friend of mine pointed out, it would be nice to see some female philosophers featured. ;)
You stink! Go get an haircut you hippy!
Good take on the theme, needed a little more direction on what my moves could do. Hobbes destroyed by Ubermensch.
@JoshyOshKenoshi: Definitely. We were just using the philosphers we were most familiar with. We plan to add more in a newer version.
@Jungle: Coll, thansk very much!
@Chesyr: Start with Kant or Hobbes if it is to difficult. We are still working on the balancing.
Very clever theme implementation, I think I learned some new things about famous philosophers
Nice concept and a very interesting way to use the theme.
Funny idea and great sprites. ++for playing Schopenhauer even if I would have chosen different quotes ;)
I can't believe Nietzsche has as much sanity as me. This is not what I read about him ! He was the toughest but I defeated them all !
I like the concept, but for me it was very hard to understand what my attacks/abilites could/will do to the opponent. Also the fact that philosophers reuse each other's utterances breaks the fun a little. Nevertheless this is definitely an unconventional weapon!
Very funny. Nice interpretation of the theme. Good to see another LibGDX entry.
Quite amusing gameplay, and educational too, sorta!
Very interesting concept of using philosophy as a weapon.
Very original use of the theme, and a very entertaining and interesting concept! :-) Some of the philosophers need a bit of balancing.
Very amusing scenario.
I wish the minor arguments were more appropriate; it's a little bit immersion-breaking to see Kierkegaard saying "That's what she said!"
Good use of the theme.
At first I thought that I would really have to select the best answers, but then i realized it is final fantasy-like epic battle game!
The characters could have logs describing them, their strengths, weaknesses and attacks, but it is also fun to discover them on your own.
I found very funny in a battle that ended in a tie! Haha!
Good job! :)
